Chromium ore fines containing coal (COFCC) can be rapidly heated by microwave to conduct the voluminal reduction, which lays a foundation of getting sponge ferrochromium powders with a lower content of C. Under the conditions of COFCC with n(O)-n(C) (molar ratio) as 1.00-0.84 and n(SiO2)-n(CaO) as 1.00-0.39, the samples were heated by 10 kW microwave power to reach the given temperatures and held for different times respectively. The results show that the low-C-Cr ferrochromium metal phase in the reduced materials forms before the high-C-Cr ferrochromium metal phase does. With increasing temperature the C content of ferrochromium metals is in a positive correlation with the content of Cr. The C content of ferrochromium metal in reduced materials is 0-10.07% with an average value of 4.68%. With the increase of holding time the Cr content in ferrochromium metals is in a negative correlation with the content of C, while the content of Fe changes in the contrary way. In the microwave field the kinetic conditions of carburization are closely related with the temperature of microwave heating, holding time and carbon fitting ratio.

： The artificial neural networks（ANN） , which have broad application, are proposed to develop Cu-Pb composite plates materials. Based on the back propagation（BP） algorithm of the forward muhilayer perceptron, the model to predict the shear stress under different ingredient of the third element and the hot dipping temperature for Cu-Pb composite plates are established. Then the relational model among the third element, hot dipping temperature and shear stress by using the limited data are studied, and the forecast average error is 4%. This model can satisfy the requirements of the precision of forecast in the project experiment process. The results show that the corresponding shear stress is greater when the third element in the element contains more Sn; the most appropriate temperature of hot-dip plating about is 340℃, ＇after predicted with lead/the third element/the best performance of copper composite material element of the third group is the one-element Sn, hot dip plating temperature is 335 ℃ ; two-element is 90% Sn 10% Bi, and hot dip plating temperature is 345 ℃. The prediction results can be used for a reference in instructing the further experimental design.

Background: Pork produced by outdoor-reared pigs raised mostly on alfalfa pastures attracts increasing population of consumer from most of the world. In China, pigs were raised with alfalfa-containing diets to seek for good quality ***, the influence of dietary alfalfa involving high level of insoluble dietary fiber(IDF) on pig intestinal luminal microbiota composition remains unclear. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of alfalfa on luminal microbiota and short chain fatty acids(SCFA) production, and gene expressions involved in SCFA sensing, transporting and absorbing in pig caecal ***: Twenty-four growing pigs were randomly allotted to four diets containing 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% alfalfa meal for a 28-d experiment. Ingestion of alfalfa meal-contained diets significantly increased the ratio of body weight gain to feed consumption. Illumina MiS eq sequencing of the V3 region of the 16 S r RNA genes showed that alfalfa-containing diet significantly decreased the relative abundance of genera Turicibacter, Acidiphilium, Paracoccus, Propionibacterium,Corynebacterium, Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, and Staphylococcus, and increased the relative abundance of genera Lachnospira, Marvinbryantia, and Desulfovibrio in the caecal digesta. Butyrate concentration was significantly increased in the hindgut by the supplementation of alfalfa meal in diets. The m RNA gene expressions of FFAR3, SMCT1, MCT1,PYY, and GCG were significantly increased in the caecal mucosa of pigs fed alfalfa ***: Our results suggested that alfalfa-containing diet has exerted significant impacts on caecal microbiota composition, butyrate concentration and significantly upregulated m RNA expression of host caecal mucosal genes involved in SCFA sensing and absorption as well as regulation of satiety.

In this paper, we describe a successive approximation and smooth sequential quadratic programming （SQP） method for mathematical programs with nonlinear complementarity constraints （MPCC）. We introduce a class of smooth programs to approximate the MPCC. Using an 11 penalty function, the line search assures global convergence, while the superlinear convergence rate is shown under the strictly complementary and second-order sufficient conditions. Moreover, we prove that the current iterated point is an exact stationary point of the mathematical programs with equilibrium constraints （MPEC） when the algorithm terminates finitely.

The unicost version of well-known set covering problem(SCP) is central to a wide variety of practical applications for which finding an optimal solution quickly is crucial. In this paper, we propose a new local searchbased algorithm for the unicost SCP which follows the general framework of the popular stochastic local search with a particular focus on the hyperedge selection strategy and weight diversity strategy. Specifically, a strategy as called hyperedge configuration checking strategy is proposed here to avoid the search trajectory which leads to local optima. Additionally, a new weight diversity strategy is proposed for the diversification of search results,by changing the weight of both covered and uncovered vertices in the current solution. The experimental results show that our algorithm significantly outperforms the state-of-the-art heuristic algorithm by one to two orders of magnitudes on the 85 classical instances. Also, our algorithm improves the current optimal solutions of11 instances.

In a recent study published on Nature Medicine,Isidro,J et *** to explore the potential causes of the recent monkeypox outbreak in 2022,1 which has been declared as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern(PHEIC).The genetic characterization study based on shotgun metagenomics suggested that the mutational bias(from GA to AA or TC to TT)in monkeypox genomes driven by apolipoprotein B mRNAediting catalytic polypeptide-like 3(APOBEC3)enzyme might account for the PHEIC.

We present an improved structure of the tapered magnetically insulated transmission fine oscillator （MILO）. Simulation results show that this structure can obtain more microwave power with higher efficiency. Studies indicate that the distance between the load support legs and the last vane can affect the operation characteristics of this device. In the experiments, we obtain microwave with peak power of 2 GW, frequency of 2.63 GHz, and mode TMol. The beam to microwave power efficiency is 11%.

Methylation profile of bovine Oct4 gene coding region in relation to three germ layers

Previous studies have shown that octamer-binding transcription factor 4（Oct4） plays a significant role in early embryonic development of mammalian animals, and different Oct4 expression levels induce multi-lineage differentiation which are regulated by DNA methylation. To explore the relationship between the methylation pattern of Oct4 gene exon 1 and embryonic development, in this work, five different tissues（heart, liver, lung, cerebrum and cerebellum） from three germ layers were chosen from low age（50–60 d） and advanced age（60–70 d） of fetal cattle and the differences between tissues or ages were analyzed, respectively. The result showed that the DNA methylation level of Oct4 gene exon 1 was significant different（P〈0.01） between any two of three germ layers in low age（〈60 d）, but kept steady of advanced age（P〉0.05）（〉60 d）, suggesting that 60-d post coital was an important boundary for embryonic development. In addition, in ectoderm（cerebrum and cerebellum）, there was no significant methylation difference of Oct4 gene exon 1 between low age and advanced age（P〉0.05）, but the result of endoderm（liver and lung） and mesoderm（heart） were on the contrary（P〈0.01）, which indicated the development of ectoderm was earlier than endoderm and mesoderm. The methylation differences from the 3rd, 5th and 9th Cp G-dinucleotide loci of Oct4 gene exon 1 were significantly different between each two of three germ layers（P〈0.05）, indicating that these three loci may have important influence on bovine embryonic development. This study showed that bovine germ layers differentiation was significantly related to the DNA methylation status of Oct4 gene exon 1. This work firstly identified the DNA methylation profile of bovine Oct4 gene exon 1 and its association with germ layers development in fetus and adult of cattle. Moreover, the work also provided epigenetic information for further studying bovine embryonic development and cellular reprogramming.

The uncontrollable formation of Li dendrites has become the biggest obstacle to the practical application of Li-metal anodes in high-energy rechargeable Li batteries. Herein, a unique LiF interlayer woven by millimeter-level, single-crystal and serrated LiF nanofibers(NFs) was designed to enable dendrite-free and highly efficient Li-metal deposition. This high-conductivity Li F interlayer can increase the Li+transference number and induce the formation of ’Li F–NFs-rich’ solid–electrolyte interface(SEI). In the ’Li F–NFs-rich’SEI, the ultra-long Li F nanofibers provide a continuously interfacial Li+transport path. Moreover, the formed Li–LiF interface between Li-metal and SEI film renders low Li nucleation and high Li+migration energy barriers, leading to uniform Li plating and stripping processes. As a result, steady charge–discharge in a Li//Li symmetrical cell for 1600 h under 4 m Ah cm-2and 400 stable cycles under a high area capacity of 5.65 mAh cm-2in a high-loading Li//rGO–S cell at 17.9 mA cm-2could be achieved. The free-standing LiF –NFs interlayer exhibits superior advantages for commercial Li batteries and displays significant potential for expanding the applications in solid Li batteries.
