Natural resource management is indispensable keeping in view their positive economic impacts as well as their detrimental environmental *** achieve certain SDGs,it is inevitable to manage natural resources through effective policies that help to inhibit adverse environmental *** on this approach,the current empirical analysis aims to probe whether environmental policy stringency intensifies,meagres,and/or halts the abysmal environmental impact of natural resources in G-7 countries(United Kingdom,United States,Canada,Italy,France,Japan,and Germany)for the period from 1990 to *** that end,we rely on the second-generation panel data approaches and panel quantile *** outcomes reveal that natural resources increase carbon dioxide emission whereas the synergy of natural resources and environmental policy stringency plunges emissions across the *** findings suggest adoption of a strict environmental policy for attaining the targets of SGD-08(economic growth),SDG-09(innovations),SDG-11(sustainable cities),SDG-12(responsible consumption of natural resources),and SDG-13(climate action).

Micromorphological Features of Old Cultivated and Modern Soils in Guanzhong Areas, Shaanxi Province, China

Using the data obtained from the LGT soil profile, this article attempts to illustrate the process of modem soil formation in the Guanzhong areas and its micromorphological features. The micromorphology is observed under a petrographic microscope, and its image is quantitatively measured by LEICAL Qwin 2.6 software. Micromorphological observations of the thin sections show that the assemblage of minerals in different horizons is very similar, which is mainly composed of Q and P1. However, there are obvious differences in C/F15μm ratio, mineral content, and coarse features. The pedofeatures is mainly composed of clay, calcite, and amorphous Fe. Ap horizon is characterized by abundant needleshaped secondary calcite, secondary clay, and earthworm fecal pellet. BC horizon is characterized by a large quantity of secondary calcite with various shapes. Bt1and Bt2 horizons are characterized by abundant clay hypocoatings and a small quantity of secondary calcite. All the results of this research suggest that Earth-cumulic Orthic Anthrosols consist of both the upper Ap horizon, which cause loessal dung and eolian dust deposition, and cultivation occurs simultaneously during the process of Ap horizon-formation, and the lower BC horizon, which is aeolian sedimentary at the time of relative aridity during late Holocene.

Metaphor and metonyms are widely used in social semiotics, in this paper, multimodal metaphor and metonyms are studied in the promotional video of GuangdongHongkong-Macau Great Bay Area, different representations are analyzed, and so is the interaction of these two modes. Through metaphtonymy, an interaction of metaphor and metonym, the energetic and prosperous future of the bay area is portrayed.

Analysis on relation between safety input and accidents

The number of safety input directly determines the level of safety, and there exists dialectical and unified relations between safety input and accidents. Based on the field investigation and reliable data, this paper deeply studied the dialectical relationship between safety input and accidents, and acquired the conclusions. The security situation of the coal enterprises was related to the security input rate, being effected little by the security input scale, and build the relationship model between safety input and accidents on this basis, that is the accident model.

Environmental Benefits for Phase-Out HCFC-22 in the Residential Air-Conditioner Sector in China

China is the largest producer and consumer of hydrochlorofluorocarbons （HCFCs）, and the production of HCFC-22 accounts for more than 80% of all HCFCs. This paper concentrates on the residential air-conditioner industry and analyzes the environmental benefits of accelerating the phase-out of HCFC-22 in China. According to the comparison of the baseline and phase-out scenarios of HCFC-22, the findings show that using HC-290 （propane） as a refrigerant alternative will directly reduce the greenhouse effect, and indirectly reduce the emission of greenhouse gases due to a reduction in the electricity consumption. The comparison of two scenarios of HC-290 and HFC-410A refrigerant alternatives shows that the use of HC-290 refrigerant will produce significantly higher environmental benefits than the HFC-410A refrigerant.

Fundraising Capacity of HIV/AIDS Community-Based Organizations in 3 Years (2017-2019) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

HIV/AIDS is still an important public health issue in Vietnam and other developing countries. In Vietnam, Community-based organizations (CBOs) were officially considered as the key partners to approach vulnerable groups at high risks of HIV infection since 2010. Funds for HIV/AIDS prevention and control are facing difficulties due to rapid reduction by international organizations, while domestic funding has not yet met the demand, especially funding for prevention and communication activities. Our study aimed to assess the fundraising capacity of several CBOs in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and analyze the challenges that they are facing now and in future in their work of HIV/AIDS management for community. The 03 typical and representative CBOs (G3VN, Smile and Strong Ladies) were chosen in our cross-sectional descriptive study. The electronic questionnaire was about fundraising reports over 3 years (2017-2019), organization structure (staff, mission, strategies) and the advantages and disadvantages in fundraising. Funds received over the year increased in total, but unstable in each projects. To have more funds, CBOs must invest time and money to have professional staff in fundraising and writing proposals. To meet requirement and survive, some CBO shifted to social enterprises and faced many difficulties in laws when being treated like profit companies. In Vietnam context, the key challenges which affect the role of funding are including: 1) Legal status;2) Small scale;3) Capacity of fundraising (finding calls, writing competence proposals);4) Fewer funds on HIV/AIDS. In future, we should pay attention in scaling up and building fundraising capacity for CBOs in order to help them in applying for international funds in community projects or even in HIV/AIDS research for CBOs, social enterprises in the context of funds for nation-level phased out of Vietnam.

THE MECHANISM OF THICKNESS OF GEOPOTENTIAL HEIGHT DIPOLE AND ITS relation WITH CLIMATE VARIABILITY IN ASIA-AUSTRALIA IN BOREAL WINTER

With the EOF of reanalysis data being analyzed, a northern-southern dipole is found in the upper troposphere geopotential height field of over the Asian-Australian monsoon region in the winter of the Northern Hemisphere(NH),which is defined as Asian-Australian dipole(AAD) in this study. Its intensity index is defined as AADI. Correlation and synthetic analysis illustrate that AADI is closely related to the weather and climate of Asian-Australian region in boreal winter. The index can reflect the simultaneous anomalies of temperature and precipitation on interannual and decadal scales in the boreal winter of Asian-Australian region. The superposition of the decadal and interannual signals is significant for the relationship between the AADI and climate change. The index can be used as an indicator of intensity of the Asian-Australian monsoon. In the years of strong AADI, the East Asia major deep trough is stronger,the Subtropical High is weaker and the Alaska ridge and the westerly jet are stronger than those in normal *** meridional circulation between high and low latitudes exists in the years of strong AADI. These relationships reflect the intrinsic link between the anomalies in the upper troposphere geopotential height and climate in the Asian-Australian region.

The environment is increasingly being used to justify protectionist measures that enjoy greater social *** the last few years,new issues have emerged in relation to this,and three of them are analysed in this paper:green growth and green economy,climate change response measures,and the liberalization of environmental goods and *** new issues are being used both to apply barriers to goods and services coming from developing countries and to improve the market access of developed countries ’ exports of industrial *** this amounts to "green protectionism" which is aimed at improving the trade balance of developed countries,particularly in relation to developing *** the many fora where these topics are being discussed,Argentina states that these issues should neither result in green protectionism nor encourage policies that constitute disguised restrictions on international trade,which is inconsistent with the multilateral trading system and with international environmental law,and in particular with the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities.

An Analysis of Feasible Ways to Enhance the International Influence of Chinese Culture

With the end of the transition period of China’s accession to WTO and the continuous enhancement of its economic strength,the domestic cultural industry has developed vigorously and participated in the fierce competition in the international cultural market. On this basis,China has put forward the strategy of Chinese culture"going out",aiming to actively promote China’s cultural trade with foreign countries,maintain and continue China’s cultural characteristics. Since the beginning of new century,the overseas communication of Chinese culture has made some progress. However,due to the ideological differences between China and the Western countries,as well as the imbalance of academic exchanges,the strategic pace of Chinese culture"going out"is still hindered. Therefore,this paper intends to explore the feasible ways of spreading Chinese culture outward from the aspects of national strategic needs,talent cultivation,academic discourse power and material culture,and to implement the combination of"soft and hard"power,in the hope that it can help to enhance the international influence of Chinese culture.
