Insight into Metabolomic Profiling of Tinospora cordifolia: Recent Advances and Future Perspectives of Quality Control

The objective of this study was to offer a review of previous works on Tinospora cordifolia(TC) metabolomics with a highlight on the use of metabolomics in comparative evaluations between varieties and selection of optimum cultivation, collection, and extraction procedures, providing insights into pharmaceutical and food product quality monitoring. Scholarly databases were searched to gather relevant information on TC's therapeutic usefulness, phytoconstituent studies, metabolomics, and applications. Pub Chem was used to learn the structures of several of the metabolites. The various medicinal properties of TC were extensively researched. The most essential portions of the plant in Ayurvedic medicines are the stems. Bioactive phytochemicals such as steroidal lactones, alkaloids, diterpenoids, and phenolic compounds are present in the roots and leaves. Metabolomic analysis revealed that, in addition to the season and geographical region of the sample collected, the metabolite profiles of TC also depend on the parts of the plant taken as a sample and also the plant's stage of growth. The amounts of secondary metabolites differed between morpho/chemotypes within the TC species. Despite the fact that research on TC began several decades ago, the diversity of phytoconstituents was not appreciated because of a lack of reliable techniques for phytochemical fingerprinting. The uncovering of several novel metabolites was aided by advances in chromatography combined with mass spectrometry. To produce a full metabolomic profile, researchers used mutually complementary techniques. Following that, data analysis and searches against spectrum databases allowed for signal annotation and interpretation of metabolites in large quantities without separating them separately. The current review includes a critical assessment of metabolomic data and an overview of the technique's various applications. Receptor-like kinases(RLKs)are the most numerous signal transduction components in plants and play important roles in determining how different plants adapt to their ecological *** on RLKs has focused mainly on a small number of typical RLK members in a few model *** is an urgent need to study the composition,distribution,and evolution of RLKs at the holistic level to increase our understanding of how RLKs assist in the ecological adaptations of different plant *** this study,we collected the genome assemblies of 528 plant species and constructed an RLK *** this dataset,we identified and characterized 524948 RLK family *** member underwent systematic topological classification and was assigned a gene ID based on a unified nomenclature ***,we identified two novel extracellular domains in some RLKs,designated Xiao and *** analysis of the RLK family revealed that the RLCK-XVII and RLCK-XII-2 classes were present exclusively in dicots,suggesting that diversification of RLKs between monocots and dicots may have led to differences in downstream cytoplasmic *** also used an interaction proteome to help empower data mining for inference of new RLK functions from a global perspective,with the ultimate goal of understanding how RLKs shape the adaptation of different plants to the environments/*** assembled RLK dataset,together with annotations and analytical tools,forms an integrated foundation of multiomics data that is publicly accessible via the metaRLK web portal(http://***).

Research on Virtual Assembly System for Industrial Robots Based on Unity3D

To address the challenges of insufficient visualization in the industrial robot assembly operation system and the limitation of visualizing only geometric attributes of physical properties， a method is proposed for constructing an industrial robot assembly system based on virtual reality technology. Focusing on the shaft hole assembly， the mechanical characteristics of the industrial robot shaft hole assembly process are analyzed and a dynamic model is established for shaft hole assembly operations. The key elements of virtual assembly operations for industrial robots are summarized and a five-dimensional model is proposed for industrial robot virtual operations. Utilizing the Unity3D engine based on the 5-D model for industrial robot virtual operations， an industrial robot shaft hole assembly system is developed. This system enables virtual assembly operations， displays physical attributes， and provides valuable references for the research of virtual systems.

Gate/Geant4-based Monte Carlo simulation for calculation of dose distribution of 400 MeV/u carbon ion beam and fragments in water

The applications of carbon ion beam in tumor therapy have attracted more attention in recent *** Carlo simulation is an important approach to obtain accurate radiotherapy parameters. In this work, a400 Me V/u carbon ion beam incident on water phantom was simulated with Gate/Geant4 tools. In methods, the authors set up a carbon ion beam source according to the experiment parameters of Haettner, defined the geometries and materials, set up the physics processes, and designed the means of information collection. In results,the authors obtained the longitudinal dose distribution, the lateral dose distribution, and the relative uncertainty of dose. The dose contributions of all kinds of fragments were calculated detailedly and compared with the Francis results. This work is helpful for people's understanding of the dose distributions produced by carbon ion beam and fragments in water. The simulation method is also significative for radiotherapy treatment planning of carbon ion beam, and it is easy to extend. For obtaining a special result, we may change the particle energy, particle type,target material, target geometry, physics process, detector,etc.

Mitigation strategies for soil acidification based on optimal nitrogen management

Soil acidification is a serious constraint to food production *** review explores its primary causes,with a focus on the role of nitrogen fertilizer,and suggests mitigation strategies based on optimal N *** acidification is determined by the leaching of weak acid mainly caused by climate and soil conditions,whereas the use of ammonium-based fertilizers,nitrate leaching and removal of base cations(BCs)by crop harvesting mostly accounts for anthropogenic *** addition,low soil acid buffering capacity,mainly determined by soil parent materials and soil organic matter content,also accelerates *** study proposes targeted mitigation strategies for different stages of soil acidification,which include monitoring soil carbonate content and p H of soils with p H>6.5(e.g.,calcareous soil),use of alkaline amendments for strongly acidic soils(p H<5.5)with aluminum toxicity risk to p H between 5.5 and 6.5,and decreasing acidification rates and supplementing BCs to maintain this optimal p H range,especially for soils with low acid buffering *** mitigation involves optimizing the rate and form of N fertilizers used,regulating N transformation processes,and establishing an integrated soil–crop management system that balances acid production and soil buffering capacity.

Difference among the quality indices,chemical composition and frying performance of galangal flavored sunflower oil prepared by three methods

Flavored vegetable oils have attracted more and more attentions from consumers and researchers due to their high oxidative stability and sensory *** the present study,the quality indices,chemical composition and frying performance of galangal flavored sunflower oil prepared by infusion method(GFSO-I),combination pressing method(GFSO-C)and direct addition method(GFSO-A)were *** results displayed that the preparation time,the levels for the acid value(AV),peroxide value(PV),p-anisidine value(AnV),total oxidation value(TOTOX),and the values for total polar compounds(TPC),thiobarbituric acid(TBA),K232 and K268 of GFSO-C were prominently low(Pfood,fried dough stick)at 180°C for 30 h,the values for TPC,TBA,K232 and K268,polymer,viscosity and b*of GFSO-C were obviously low(P<0.05),while the value for L*was obviously high(P<0.05),compared with that of GFSO-I and *** the sensory evaluation,the flavor,taste,crispness and overall acceptance of Chinese Maye fried by GFSO-C were better than that of Chinese Maye fried by GFSO-I and ***,GFSO-C is more suitable for cooking,and the combination pressing method is optimal for industrial production of GFSO.

An approach for determination of lateral limit angle in kinematic planar sliding analysis for rock slopes

Planar sliding is one of the frequently observed types of failure in rock *** analysis is a classic and widely used method to examine the potential failure modes in rock *** accuracy of planar sliding kinematic analysis is significantly influenced by the value assigned to the lateral limit angleγ***,the assignment ofγlim is currently used generally based on an empirical *** study aims to propose an approach for determining the value ofγlim in deterministic and probabilistic kinematic planar sliding analysis.A new perspective is presented to reveal thatγlim essentially influences the probability of forming a potential planar sliding *** procedure to calculate this probability is introduced using the block theory *** is found that the probability is correlated with the number of discontinuity sets presented in rock ***,different values ofγlim for rock masses with different sets of discontinuities are recommended in both probabilistic and deterministic planar sliding kinematic analyses;whereas a fixed value ofγlim is commonly assigned to different types of rock masses in traditional ***,an engineering case was used to compare the proposed and traditional kinematic analysis *** error rates of the traditional method vary from 45%to 119%,while that of the proposed method ranges between 1%and 17%.Therefore,it is likely that the proposed method is superior to the traditional one.

Developing a CRISPR/FrCas9 system for core promoter editing in rice

Small mutations in the core promoter region of a gene may result in substantial changes in expression ***,targeting TA-rich sequences of core promoters may pose a challenge for Cas9 variants such as SpCas9 and other G-rich PAM-compatible *** this study,we engineered a unique FrCas9 system derived from Faecalibaculum rodentium for plant genome *** findings indicate that this system is efficient in rice when the TATA sequence is used as a *** addition,FrCas9 demonstrated activity against all 16 possible NNTA PAMs,achieving an efficiency of up to 35.3%in calli and generating homozygous or biallelic mutations in 31.3%of the T_(0)transgenic plants.A proof-ofconcept experiment to examine editing of the rice WX core promoter confirmed that FrCas9-induced mutations could modify gene expression and amylose *** mutations and deletions were produced by bidirectional editing,mediated by FrCas9,using a single palindromic TATA sequence as a ***,we developed FrCas9-derived base editors capable of programmable conversion between AT and GC pairs in *** study highlights a versatile FrCas9 toolset for plant core promoter editing,offering great potential for the fine-tuning of gene expression and creating of new germplasms.
