Traditional farming procedures are time-consuming and expensive as based on manual labor. Farmers haveno proper knowledge to select which crop is suitable to grow according to the environmental factors and soilcharacteristics. This is the main reason for the low yield of crops and the economic crisis in the agricultural sectorof the different countries. The use of modern technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning,and ensemble learning can facilitate farmers to observe different factors such as soil electrical conductivity (EC),and environmental factors like temperature to improve crop yield. These parameters play a vital role in suggestinga suitable crop to cope the food scarcity. This paper proposes a systemcomprised of twomodules, first module usesstatic data and the second module takes hybrid data collection (IoT-based real-time data and manual data) withmachine learning and ensemble learning algorithms to suggest the suitable crop in the farm to maximize the *** is used to train the model that predicts the crop. Machine-to-machine (M2M) communication plays a fundamental role in autonomous IoT (Internet of Things)-based infrastructure, a vital part of the fourth industrial revolution. Machine-type communication devices(MTCDs) regularly share extensive data without human intervention while making all types of decisions. Thesedecisions may involve controlling sensitive ventilation systems maintaining uniform temperature, live heartbeatmonitoring, and several different alert systems. Many of these devices simultaneously share data to form anautomated system. The data shared between machine-type communication devices (MTCDs) is prone to risk dueto limited computational power, internal memory, and energy capacity. Therefore, securing the data and devicesbecomes challenging due to factors such as dynamic operational environments, remoteness, harsh conditions,and areas where human physical access is difficult. One of the crucial parts of securing MTCDs and data isauthentication, where each devicemust be verified before data transmission. SeveralM2Mauthentication schemeshave been proposed in the literature, however, the literature lacks a comprehensive overview of current M2Mauthentication techniques and the challenges associated with them. To utilize a suitable authentication schemefor specific scenarios, it is important to understand the challenges associated with it. Therefore, this article fillsthis gap by reviewing the state-of-the-art research on authentication schemes in MTCDs specifically concerningapplication categories, security provisions, and performance efficiency.

DepthGAN: GAN-based depth generation from semantic layouts

Existing GAN-based generative methodsare typically used for semantic image synthesis. Wepose the question of whether GAN-based architecturescan generate plausible depth maps and find thatexisting methods have difficulty in generating depthmaps which reasonably represent 3D scene structuredue to the lack of global geometric ***, we propose DepthGAN, a novel method ofgenerating a depth map using a semantic layout asinput to aid construction, and manipulation of wellstructured 3D scene point clouds. Specifically, wefirst build a feature generation model with a cascadeof semantically-aware transformer blocks to obtaindepth features with global structural *** our semantically aware transformer block, wepropose a mixed attention module and a semanticallyaware layer normalization module to better exploitsemantic consistency for depth features ***, we present a novel semantically weighteddepth synthesis module, which generates adaptivedepth intervals for the current scene. We generate thefinal depth map by using a weighted combination ofsemantically aware depth weights for different depthranges. In this manner, we obtain a more accuratedepth map. Extensive experiments on indoor andoutdoor datasets demonstrate that DepthGAN achievessuperior results both quantitatively and visually for thedepth generation task.
