We report a convenient method to synthesize O,N-codoped hierarchical porous carbon by one-step carbonization of the mixture of KHCO3,urea and alginic *** from KHCO3 and urea syne rgistic effect,the obtained O,N-codoped hierarchical porous carbon(NPC-700) material has a well-developed interconnected porous framework with ultrahigh specific surface area(2846 m2/g) and massive heteroatoms functional ***,such porous carbon displays high specific capacitance(324 F/g at 1 A/g),excellent rate performance(212 F/g at 30 A/g) and good electrochemical stabilization in 6 mol/L KOH *** importantly,the assembled NPC-700//NPC-700 symmetrical supercapacitor can achieve a high energy density of 18.8 Wh/kg and good electrochemical stabilization in 1 mol/L Na2SO4 *** process opens up a new way to design heteroatoms-doped hierarchical porous carbon derived from biomass materials for supercapacitors.

A novel strategy was developed for a rapid access to the naturally occurring racemic neoclausenamide and its analogs, which featured a highly erythro-selective vinylogous Mukaiyama type reaction （dr= 12：1） and a highly diastereoselective tandem conjugate addition-Davis oxidation ofN-Boc-pyrrol-2（5H）-one 5 （dr= 10：1）. Remarka- bly, the skeleton of neoclausenamide, namely 8n, an analog of neoclausenamide, was built in just two steps with all the four stereogenic centers （relative stereochemistry） established correctly and in excellent diastereoselectivities.

The mono- and binuclear Cu(I) complexes with substituted 2,2'-bipyridine and iodide ligands, [CuL2]BF4 (L=4-methoxycarbonyl-6-(4-methylphenyl)-2,2'-bipyridine (a), 6-(4-hydroxymethylphenyl)-2,2'-bipyridine (b) and 6-(4-methoxylphenyl)-2,2'-bipyridine (c)) and [Cu2(-I)2L2] were prepared, and the crystal structures of the com-plexes were obtained from signal-crystal X-ray diffractional analysis. The spectroscopic properties of the complexes in dichloromethane are dominated by low energy MLCT bands from 360 to 650 nm. The electrochemical studies of mononuclear complexes reveal that the complexes have stable copper(I) state.

The biosorption mechanisms of uranium on an aerobic bacterial strain Streptomyces sporoverrucosus dwc-3,isolated from a potential disposal site for（ultra-）low uraniferous radioactive waste in Southwest China,were evaluated by using transmission electron microscopy（TEM）,energy dispersive X-ray（EDX）analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FT-IR）,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）,proton induced X-ray emission（PIXE）and enhanced proton backscattering spectrometry（EPBS）.Approximately60% of total uranium at an initial concentration of 10 mg/L uranium nitrate solution could be absorbed on 100 mg *** dwc-3 with an adsorption capacity of more than3.0 mg/g（wet weight）after 12 hr at room temperature at p H *** dynamic biosorption process of *** dwc-3 for uranyl ions was well described by a pseudo second-order *** dwc-3 could accumulate uranium on cell walls and within the cell,as revealed by SEM and TEM analysis as well as EDX *** and FT-IR analysis further suggested that the absorbed uranium was bound to amino,phosphate and carboxyl groups of the ***,PIXE and EPBS results confirmed that ion exchange also contributed to the adsorption process of uranium.

Preparation of non-conjugated luminescent polymers(NCLPs)with excellent cluster luminescence(CL)performance is of great significance for scientific and industrious applications,and yet improving the performance of NCLPs through proper structural design is still a huge ***,we report a non-conjugated ionized polymeric system consisting of(−)-camphorsulfonic acid((−)-CSA)and poly(2-vinylpyridine)(P2VP).These acid-base complexes exhibit typical excitationdependent fluorescence and room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP)with a lifetime up to 364 *** discover that changing the stereoregularity from atactic to isotactic significantly improves the CL performance of the ***(1)broadens the fluorescence emission spectra to cover the entire visible region,(2)enhances the fluorescence emission intensity at long wavelength beyond 500 nm,(3)enhances the phosphorescence intensity,and(4)extends the phosphorescence *** experimental characterization and molecular dynamics simulation unravel the key role of stereoregularity in determining the formation of different pyridine aggregates that strongly influence the CL ***,the different luminescence shows great potential in excitation divided information display and time-resolved encrypted *** work not only points to a new direction for developing NCLPs with excellent performance,but also broadens the applications of NCLPs materials.

Rare earth borogermanates as a group of stable compounds provided various potential properties important for modern sciences. Among the properties of interests, luminescence was manifested due to the variability of rare earth elements and the compounds constituted an important group of potential candidate. In this work, novel phosphors of Eu3＋, Tb3＋ or Tm3＋ doped LaBGeO5 with the stillwellite type structure were synthesized by the solid state reaction method. Their X-ray and UV excitation luminescent properties showed that LaBGeO5 was an excellent host lattice for the luminescence of Eu3＋, Tb3＋ and Tm3＋. The LaBGeO5：Eu3＋, LaBGeO5：Tb3＋ and LaBGeO5：Tm3＋ presented bright red, green and blue emission light for both UV and X-ray excitation.

A novel approach to the synthesis of 2,2＇,3,3＇-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride is described. The target compound was prepared by a nickel-catalyzed couplirtg reaction of dimethy 3-chlorophthalate （3-DMCP） for 4 h at 70-80 ℃, followed by subsequent hydrolysis of tetra-ester in acid solution and dehydration of tetra-acid, with overall yield of 68%. The structures of the products were characterized by IR, 1H NMR and ^13C NMR respectively.
