Topological Structure-Modulated Collagen Carbon as Two-in-One Energy Storage Configuration toward Ultrahigh Power and Energy Density

Efficient energy storage devices with suitable electrode materials,that integrate high power and high energy,are the crucial requisites of the renewable power source,which have unwrapped new possibilities in the sustainable development of energy and the ***,a facile collagen microstructure modulation strategy is proposed to construct a nitrogen/oxygen dual-doped hierarchically porous carbon fiber with ultrahigh specific surface area(2788 m^(2)g^(-1))and large pore volume(4.56 cm^(3)g^(-1))via local microfibrous breakage/disassembly of natural structured *** operando spectroscopy and density functional theory unveil that the dual-heteroatom doping could effectively regulate the electronic structure of carbon atom framework with enhanced electric conductivity and electronegativity as well as decreased diffusion resistance in favor of rapid pseudocapacitive-dominated Li^(+)-storage(353 mAh g^(-1)at 10 A g^(-1)).Theoretical calculations reveal that the tailored micro-/mesoporous structures favor the rapid charge transfer and ion storage,synergistically realizing high capacity and superior rate performance for NPCF-H cathode(75.0 mAh g^(-1)at 30 A g^(-1)).The assembled device with NPCF-H as both anode and cathode achieves extremely high energy density(200 Wh kg^(-1))with maximum power density(42600 W kg^(-1))and ultralong lifespan(80%capacity retention over 10000 cycles).

Long-term multivariate time series forecasting is an important task in engineering applications. It helps grasp the future development trend of data in real-time, which is of great significance for a wide variety of fields. Due to the non-linear and unstable characteristics of multivariate time series, the existing methods encounter difficulties in analyzing complex high-dimensional data and capturing latent relationships between multivariates in time series, thus affecting the performance of long-term prediction. In this paper, we propose a novel time series forecasting model based on multilayer perceptron that combines spatio-temporal decomposition and doubly residual stacking, namely Spatio-Temporal Decomposition Neural Network (STDNet). We decompose the originally complex and unstable time series into two parts, temporal term and spatial term. We design temporal module based on auto-correlation mechanism to discover temporal dependencies at the sub-series level, and spatial module based on convolutional neural network and self-attention mechanism to integrate multivariate information from two dimensions, global and local, respectively. Then we integrate the results obtained from the different modules to get the final forecast. Extensive experiments on four real-world datasets show that STDNet significantly outperforms other state-of-the-art methods, which provides an effective solution for long-term time series forecasting.

The violent vibration of supersonic wings threatens aircraft safety. This paper proposes the strongly nonlinear acoustic metamaterial(NAM) method to mitigate aeroelastic vibration in supersonic wing plates. We employ the cantilever plate to simulate the practical behavior of a wing. An aeroelastic vibration model of the NAM cantilever plate is established based on the mode superposition method and a modified third-order piston theory. The aerodynamic properties are systematically studied using both the timedomain integration and frequency-domain harmonic balance methods. While presenting the flutter and post-flutter behaviors of the NAM wing, we emphasize more on the preflutter broadband vibration that is prevalent in aircraft. The results show that the NAM method can reduce the low-frequency and broadband pre-flutter steady vibration by 50%–90%, while the post-flutter vibration is reduced by over 95%, and the critical flutter velocity is also slightly delayed. As clarified, the significant reduction arises from the bandgap, chaotic band, and nonlinear resonances of the NAM plate. The reduction effect is robust across a broad range of parameters, with optimal performance achieved with only10% attached mass. This work offers a novel approach for reducing aeroelastic vibration in aircraft, and it expands the study of nonlinear acoustic/elastic metamaterials.

This study numerically investigates the nonlinear interaction of head-on solitary waves in a granular chain(a nonintegrable system)and compares the simulation results with the theoretical results in fluid(an integrable system).Three stages(the pre-in-phase traveling stage,the central-collision stage,and the post-in-phase traveling stage)are identified to describe the nonlinear interaction processes in the granular *** nonlinear scattering effect occurs in the central-collision stage,which decreases the amplitude of the incident solitary *** with the leading-time phase in the incident and separation collision processes,the lagging-time phase in the separation collision process is *** asymmetrical nonlinear collision results in an occurrence of leading phase shifts of time and space in the post-in-phase traveling *** next find that the solitary wave amplitude does not influence the immediate space-phase shift in the granular *** space-phase shift of the post-in-phase traveling stage is only determined by the measurement position rather than the wave *** results are reversed in the *** increase in solitary wave amplitude leads to decreased attachment,detachment,and residence times for granular chains and *** the immediate time-phase shift,leading and lagging phenomena appear in the granular chain and the fluid,*** results offer new knowledge for designing mechanical metamaterials and energy-mitigating systems.

This study primarily investigates a visibility-based pursuitevasion game with multiple obstacles. The pursuer aims to maintain surveillance over the evader as long as possible, while the evader's objective is to escape the pursuer's surveillance as quickly as possible. We use the explicit strategy method to analyze the winning conditions and optimal strategy of the player in the case of corner obstacles and propose a 'Present-Future-Past'(PFP) loop structure to extend the strategy to the case of multiple obstacles.

Wide-spatial radar surveillance missions are challenging tasks, requiring an increased power budget and agility in transmission aimed at extracting information from multiple targets in different environments. These requirements necessitate high transmitting degrees of freedom(DOF) to achieve the objective of multiscale observation for specific tasks in specialized regions of interest. Herein, we exploit the multiscale observation ability in wide-spatial radar surveillance based on frequency diverse array(FDA)radar. The proposed method facilitates spatial anisotropic control of multiple radar resources, including the transmitting waveforms, beampattern, and bandwidth. By utilizing a coherent FDA radar, we offer principles for the selection of baseband waveforms, in addition to the quantitative design of the beampattern gain and optimal bandwidth from the perspective of detection. The feasibility of the proposed method is validated through numerical experiments, thus indicating the potential in wide-spatial radar surveillance. Moreover,this work can be regarded as a preliminary attempt to gauge the efficacy of the computational array, a novel academic concept.

To solve the problem of low broadband multi-directional vibration control of fluid-conveying pipes, a novel metamaterial periodic structure with multi-directional wide bandgaps is proposed. First, an integrated design method is proposed for the longitudinal and transverse wave control of fluid-conveying pipes, and a novel periodic structure unit model is constructed for vibration reduction. Based on the bandgap vibration reduction mechanism of the acoustic metamaterial periodic structure, the material parameters,structural parameters, and the arrangement interval of the periodic structure unit are optimized. The finite element method(FEM) is used to predict the vibration transmission characteristics of the fluid-conveying pipe installed with the vibration reduction periodic structure. Then, the wave/spectrum element method(WSEM) and experimental test are used to verify the calculated results above. Lastly, the vibration attenuation characteristics of the structure under different conditions, such as rubber material parameters, mass ring material, and fluid-structure coupling effect, are analyzed. The results show that the structure can produce a complete bandgap of 46 Hz–75 Hz in the low-frequency band below 100 Hz, which can effectively suppress the low broadband vibration of the fluidconveying pipe. In addition, a high damping rubber material is used in the design of the periodic structure unit, which realizes the effective suppression of each formant peak of the pipe, and improves the vibration reduction effect of the fluid-conveying pipe. Meanwhile, the structure has the effect of suppressing both bending vibration and longitudinal vibration, and effectively inhibits the transmission of transverse waves and longitudinal waves in the pipe. The research results provide a reference for the application of acoustic metamaterials in the multi-directional vibration control of fluid-conveying pipes.

The lignite-derived carbon from self-protection pyrolysis was employed to balance the fracturing and cold-welding of magnesium during ball *** size analysis indicates that the introduction of lignite-derived carbon can effectively reduce the particle size of Mg while the introduction of graphite does no ***,the effect of lignite-derived carbon on crystallite size reduction of Mg is also better than graphite.A moderate cold-welding phenomenon was observed after ball-milling Mg with the lignite-derived carbon,suggesting less Mg is wasted on the milling vials and *** dynamic simulations reveal that the balanced fracturing and cold-welding of magnesium during ball milling is mainly attributed to the special structure of the lignite-derived carbon:graphitized short-range ordered stacking function as dry lubricant and irregular shape/sharp edge function as milling *** preliminary findings in current study are expected to offer implications for designing efficient Mg-based hydrogen storage materials.
