Studying on resistance specificity of human acupoints is one of the major subjects in the research on acupoint specificity. Even since a long time ago, many methods have been put forward in the detection of acupoint resistance specificity. From the vertical lengthways of the acupoint structure, the methods and means are put forward to detect the acupoint resistance in a series of studies. In the studies, some peculiar phenomena are found out in the detection of the acupoint resistance, and some phenomena are interrelated with the volume conductor characteristics of the human body, and some phenomena might be interrelated with the detecting methods and means. By the summary and analysis of those peculiar phenomena, references are offered to the relevant researchers engaged in the detection of the acupoint resistance.

Objective： To observe the specificity of reinforcing and reducing methods of mild moxibustion and explore its clinical significance. Methods： Thirty healthy students were selected and given reinforcing of mild moxibustion on the left Neiguan （PC 6） and reducing on the right Neiguan （PC 6） respectively. Temperature of the acupoint skin surface and the temperature-time curve were recorded by a digital thermometer. Results： In application of mild moxibustion on Neiguan （PC 6）, there was a statistical difference in the temperature-increase section between reinforcing and reducing methods （P〈0.01）. The temperature-increasing section of the temperature-time curve in the reducing method was obviously steeper than that in the reinforcing method. In the period of 0.5-3 min during moxibustion, the temperature of Neiguan （PC 6） was remarkably higher in the reducing than in the reinforcing （P〈0.01）. In the application of the reducing, the time for the temperature of Neiguan （PC 6） to increase to 40~C was remarkably advanced （P〈0.05） and the rate of burning pain in the subjects was remarkably higher in the reducing method than in the reinforcing method （P〈0.001）. Conclusion： In comparison with the reinforcing method, the acupoint temperature increased more quickly in the application of reducing method and can produce obvious hot stimulation in a short period of time. In the application of the reinforcing method, the acupoint temperature increased mildly and could enhance the tolerance of the organism to the high temperature.

OBJECTIVE: To establish a standardized framework encompassing the precise locations, manipulations,functions and indications of specific acupoints in the field of paediatric tuina. METHODS: The development of consensus involved three distinct stages. Initially, a list of paediatric tuina specific acupoints was compiled based on an extensive literature review, which was subsequently supplemented through expert interviews. In the second stage, the Delphi method was employed to assess the significance of acupoint locations, manipulations, functions, and indications. In situations where the questionnaire survey failed to yield agreement or when the experts held reservations, the nominal group approach was utilized during the expert consensus meeting. The final version of the technical standardized material was ultimately determined during an expert consensus conference. After undergoing external peer review and evaluation, the completed draft was prepared for public dissemination RESULTS: The comprehensive list identified a total of 66 specific acupoints. The location and manipulation questionnaire consisted of 156 items based on the literature database, while the function and indication questionnaire contained 116 items. Two rounds of Delphi surveys were conducted for the location and manipulation category, and another two rounds of Delphi surveys were conducted for the function and indication category. During the experts consensus meeting The panel of experts conducted in-depth discussions on 61 questions, resulting in the formulation of technical guidelines for the locations, manipulations, functions, and indications of 64 paediatric tuina acupoints. Subsequently, the research team compiled and edited the draft of the technical guidelines for acupoints of paediatric tuina, which was finalized after external review and feedback. Objectives： To study the acupoint specificity through the comprehensive evaluation of the acupuncture effect on rat model with the middle cerebral artery occlusion （MCAO）. Methods： Duplicated MCAO model by Zea-longa＇s thread ligation was assessed by Zausinger＇s six-point method, and rats with 1-3 scores were chosen to be grouped. According to the randomized and controlled principle, rats were divided into 6 basic control groups （including normal group, sham group, model control group, model group without intervention, Nimodipine group, lateral-to-Renzhong group） and 6 acupuncture groups [including Neiguan （PC6） group, Weizhong （BL40） group, Chize （LU5） group, Sanyinjiao （SP6） group, Renzhong （DU6） group and non-acupoint group]; in each acupoint or non-acupoint 9 different parameter combinations were respectively set by orthogonal intersection method. There were in total 60 groups, and each group had 12 rats. The rats were treated by acupuncture with the lifting-thrusting manipulation every 12 h, in total 6 times. Indices of neurobehavioral scores, cerebral blood flow, infarction rate, microcirculation, and light microscope, etc. were measured. In order to comprehensively evaluate the acupuncture effect to research the specificity of acupoint, a cluster analysis was made with SPSS17.0 for the comprehensive effect scores of the samples computed according to the comprehensive evaluation models, and then sorting and classification were made for the comprehensive effect scores. Results： In the acupuncture groups every acupoint had different therapeutic effect due to different acupuncture parameter combinations; among the acupuncture groups the orders of curative effect were as followings： Neiguan group was of exceptional result, Weizhong group and Sanyinjiao group were of valid results in upper level, Chize group and Renzhong group were of valid results in lower level, and non-acupoint group was of invalid result; the therapeutic result of acupoint group was superior to
