In this paper, we study compressed data separation（CDS） problem, i.e., sparse data separation from a few linear random measurements. We propose the nonconvex ?q-split analysis with ?∞-constraint and 0 < q ≤ 1. We call the algorithm ?q-split-analysis Dantzig selector（?q-split-analysis DS）. We show that the two distinct subcomponents that are approximately sparse in terms of two different dictionaries could be stably approximated via the ?q-split-analysis DS, provided that the measurement matrix satisfies either a classical D-RIP（Restricted Isometry Property with respect to Dictionaries and ?2norm） or a relatively new（D, q）-RIP（RIP with respect to Dictionaries and ?q-quasi norm） condition and the two different dictionaries satisfy a mutual coherence condition between them.For the Gaussian random measurements, the measurement number needed for the（D, q）-RIP condition is far less than those needed for the D-RIP condition and the（D, 1）-RIP condition when q is small enough.

Assessing individual risks of healthy aging using biomarkers and identifying associated factors have become important areas of research.In this study,we conducted a literature review of relevant publications between 2018 and 2023 in both Chinese and English databases.Previous studies have predominantly used single biomarkers,such as C-reactive protein,or focused on specific life course stages and factors such as socioeconomic status,mental health,educational levels,and unhealthy lifestyles.By summarizing the progress in this field,our study provides valuable insights and future directions for promoting healthy aging from a life course perspective.

Background: High body mass index (BMI) results in decreased fecundity, and women with high BMI have reduced rates of clinical pregnancy and live birth inin vitro fertilization/intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI). Meanwhile, ovarian responses show great heterogeneity in patients with a high BMI. This study aimed to analyze the effects of a high BMI on IVF/ICSI outcomes in the Chinese female with normal ovarian response.Methods: We performed a retrospective cohort study comprising 15,124 patients from the medical record system of the Reproductive center of Peking University Third Hospital, with 3530 (23.3%) in the overweight group and 1380 (9.1%) in the obese group, who had a normal ovarian response (5-15 oocytes retrieved) and underwent fresh embryo transfer (ET) cycles from January 2017 to December 2018, followed by linked frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles from January 2017 to December 2020. Cumulative live birth rate (CLBR) was used as the primary outcome. Furthermore, a generalized additive model was applied to visually illustrate the curvilinear relationship between BMI and the outcomes. We used a decision tree to identify the specific population where high BMI had the greatest effect on IVF/ICSI outcomes.Results: High BMI was associated with poor IVF/ICSI outcomes, both in cumulative cycles and in separate fresh ET or FET cycles. In cumulative cycles, compared with the normal weight group, obesity was correlated with a lower positive pregnancy test rate (adjusted odds ratio [aOR]: 0.809, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.682-0.960), lower clinical pregnancy rate (aOR: 0.766, 95% CI: 0.646-0.907), lower live birth rate (aOR: 0.706, 95% CI: 0.595-0.838), higher cesarean section rate (aOR: 2.066, 95% CI: 1.533-2.785), and higher rate of large for gestational age (aOR: 2.273, 95% CI: 1.547-3.341). In the generalized additive model, we found that CLBR declined with increasing BMI, with 24 kg/m2 as an inflection point. With the exploding prevalence of obesity,many children are at risk of developing nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.Using anthropometric and laboratory parameters,our study aimed to develop a model to quantitatively evaluate liver fat content(LFC)in children with obesity.Methods A well-characterized cohort of 181 children between 5 and 16 years of age were recruited to the study in the Endocrinology Department as the derivation cohort.The external validation cohort comprised 77 children.The assessment of liver fat content was performed using proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy.Anthropometry and laboratory metrics were measured in all subjects.B-ultrasound examination was carried out in the external validation cohort.The Kruskal-Wallis test,Spearman bivariate correlation analyses,univariable linear regressions and multivariable linear regression were used to build the optimal predictive model.Results The model was based on indicators including alanine aminotransferase,homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance,triglycerides,waist circumference and Tanner stage.The adjusted R^(2)of the model was 0.589,which presented high sensitivity and specificity both in internal[sensitivity of 0.824,specificity of 0.900,area under curve(AUC)of 0.900 with a 95%confidence interval:0.783–1.000]and external validation(sensitivity of 0.918 and specificity of 0.821,AUC of 0.901 with a 95%confidence interval:0.818–0.984).Conclusions Our model based on five clinical indicators was simple,non-invasive,and inexpensive;it had high sensitivity and specificity in predicting LFC in children.Thus,it may be useful for identifying children with obesity who are at risk for developing nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.

The development of communication technology will promote the application of Internet of Things,and Beyond 5G will become a new technology promoter.At the same time,Beyond 5G will become one of the important supports for the development of edge computing technology.This paper proposes a communication task allocation algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning for vehicle-to-pedestrian communication scenarios in edge computing.Through trial and error learning of agent,the optimal spectrum and power can be determined for transmission without global information,so as to balance the communication between vehicle-to-pedestrian and vehicle-to-infrastructure.The results show that the agent can effectively improve vehicle-to-infrastructure communication rate as well as meeting the delay constraints on the vehicle-to-pedestrian link.

Microglia are the main non-neuronal cells in the central nervous system that have important roles in brain development and functional connectivity of neural circuits. In brain physiology, highly dynamic microglial processes are facilitated to sense the surrounding environment and stimuli. Once the brain switches its functional states, microglia are recruited to specific sites to exert their immune functions, including the release of cytokines and phagocytosis of cellular debris. The crosstalk of microglia between neurons, neural stem cells, endothelial cells, oligodendrocytes, and astrocytes contributes to their functions in synapse pruning, neurogenesis, vascularization, myelination, and blood-brain barrier permeability. In this review, we highlight the neuron-derived “find-me,” “eat-me,” and “don’t eat-me” molecular signals that drive microglia in response to changes in neuronal activity for synapse refinement during brain development. This review reveals the molecular mechanism of neuron-microglia interaction in synaptic pruning and presents novel ideas for the synaptic pruning of microglia in disease, thereby providing important clues for discovery of target drugs and development of nervous system disease treatment methods targeting synaptic dysfunction.

Attribute Reduction of Hybrid Decision Information Systems Based on Fuzzy Conditional Information Entropy

The presence of numerous uncertainties in hybrid decision information systems(HDISs)renders attribute reduction a formidable task.Currently available attribute reduction algorithms,including those based on Pawlak attribute importance,Skowron discernibility matrix,and information entropy,struggle to effectively manages multiple uncertainties simultaneously in HDISs like the precise measurement of disparities between nominal attribute values,and attributes with fuzzy boundaries and abnormal values.In order to address the aforementioned issues,this paper delves into the study of attribute reduction withinHDISs.First of all,a novel metric based on the decision attribute is introduced to solve the problem of accurately measuring the differences between nominal attribute values.The newly introduced distance metric has been christened the supervised distance that can effectively quantify the differences between the nominal attribute values.Then,based on the newly developed metric,a novel fuzzy relationship is defined from the perspective of“feedback on parity of attribute values to attribute sets”.This new fuzzy relationship serves as a valuable tool in addressing the challenges posed by abnormal attribute values.Furthermore,leveraging the newly introduced fuzzy relationship,the fuzzy conditional information entropy is defined as a solution to the challenges posed by fuzzy attributes.It effectively quantifies the uncertainty associated with fuzzy attribute values,thereby providing a robust framework for handling fuzzy information in hybrid information systems.Finally,an algorithm for attribute reduction utilizing the fuzzy conditional information entropy is presented.The experimental results on 12 datasets show that the average reduction rate of our algorithm reaches 84.04%,and the classification accuracy is improved by 3.91%compared to the original dataset,and by an average of 11.25%compared to the other 9 state-of-the-art reduction algorithms.The comprehensive analysis of these research results clearly indicates that

BACKGROUND Left ventricular(LV)remodeling and diastolic function in people with heart failure(HF)are correlated with iron status;however,the causality is uncertain.This Mendelian randomization(MR)study investigated the bidirectional causal relationship between systemic iron parameters and LV structure and function in a preserved ejection fraction population.METHODS Transferrin saturation(TSAT),total iron binding capacity(TIBC),and serum iron and ferritin levels were extracted as instrumental variables for iron parameters from meta-analyses of public genome-wide association studies.Individuals without myocardial infarction history,HF,or LV ejection fraction(LVEF)dataset.The dataset included LV end-diastolic volume,LV endsystolic volume,LV mass(LVM),and LVM-to-end-diastolic volume ratio(LVMVR).We used a two-sample bidirectional MR study with inverse variance weighting(IVW)as the primary analysis method and estimation methods using different algorithms to improve the robustness of the results.RESULTS In the IVW analysis,one standard deviation(SD)increased in TSAT significantly correlated with decreased LVMVR(β=-0.1365;95%confidence interval[CI]:-0.2092 to-0.0638;P=0.0002)after Bonferroni adjustment.Conversely,no significant relationships were observed between other iron and LV parameters.After Bonferroni correction,reverse MR analysis showed that one SD increase in LVEF significantly correlated with decreased TSAT(β=-0.0699;95%CI:-0.1087 to-0.0311;P=0.0004).No heterogeneity or pleiotropic effects evidence was observed in the analysis.CONCLUSIONS We demonstrated a causal relationship between TSAT and LV remodeling and function in a preserved ejection fraction population.

Background: Magnetic resonance(MR)-guided ultra-hypofractionated radiotherapy with whole-pelvic irradiation(UHF-WPRT)is a novel approach to radiotherapy for patients with high-risk(HR)and very high-risk(VHR)prostate cancer(PCa).However,the inherent complexity of adaptive UHF-WPRT might inevitably result in longer on-couch time.We aimed to estimate the delivered dose,study the feasibility and safety of adaptive UHF-WPRT on a 1.5-Tesla MR-Linac.Methods: Ten patients with clinical stage T3a-4N0-1M0-1c PCa,who consecutively received UHF-WPRT,were enrolled prospectively.The contours of the target and organ-at-risks on the position verification-MR(PV-MR),beam-on 3D-MR(Bn-MR),and post-MR(after radiotherapy delivery)were derived from the pre-MR data by deformable image registration.The physician then manually adjusted them,and dose recalculation was performed accordingly.GraphPad Prism 9(GraphPad Prism Software Inc.)was utilized for conducting statistical analyses.Results: In total,we collected 188 MR scans(50 pre-MR,50 PV-MR,44 Bn-MR,and 44 post-MR scans).With median 59 min,the mean prostate clinical target volume(CTV)-V_(100%)was 98.59%±2.74%,and the mean pelvic CTVp-V_(100%)relative percentages of all scans was 99.60%±1.18%.The median V29 Gy change in the rectal wall was−2%(−18%to 20%).With a median follow-up of 9 months,no patient had acute Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events(CTCAE)grade 2 or more severe genitourinary(GU)or gastrointestinal(GI)toxicities(0%).Conclusion: UHF-RT to the prostate and the whole pelvis with concomitant boost to positive nodes using an Adapt-To-Shape(ATS)workflow was technically feasible for patients with HR and VHR PCa,presenting only mild GU and GI toxicities.The estimated target dose during the beam-on phase was clinically acceptable based on the 3D-MR-based dosimetry analysis.clinical trial registration Chinese clinical Trial Registry ChiCTR2000033382.
