To further investigate the promoting effect of soybean protein and peptides on Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus Lra05(*** Lra05),the overall changes of gene expression of it was investigated through transcriptome analysis treated with dPEP and dSPI The results showed that there were 890,113,and 1073 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in dPEP/MRS,dSPI/MRS and dPEP/dSPI comparison,***,we found dPEP could promote the expression of acc and fab family genes related to fatty acid biosynthesis,but dSPI played the opposite ***,dPEP stimulated genes clustered in pur family and ribosome protein,responsible for purine and protein ***,dPEP suppressed genes regulating peptides and amino acids transportation and dSPI specially inhibited the pyr family genes involved in pyrimidine *** data revealed the knowledge about the metabolic pathways affected by dPEP and dSPI and provide a preliminary understanding of the relationship between soybean proteins and peptides and *** Lra05.

According to the concept of“flexible surge capacity,”hospitals may need to be evacuated on two occasions:(1)when they are exposed to danger,such as in war;and(2)when they are contaminated,such as during the Covid-19 *** the former,the entire hospital must be evacuated,while in the latter,the hospital becomes a pandemic center necessitating the transfer of its non-contaminated staff,patients,and routine activities to other *** occasions involve several degrees of evacuation—partial or total—yet all require deliberate surge planning and collaboration with diverse *** study aimed to investigate the extent of hospital evacuation preparedness in Thailand,using the main elements of the flexible surge capacity concept.A mixed method cross-sectional study was conducted using a hospital evacuation questionnaire from a previously published multinational hospital evacuation *** tool contained questions regarding evacuation preparedness encompassing surge capacity and collaborative elements and an open-ended inquiry to grasp potential *** 143 secondary care,tertiary care,and university hospitals received the questionnaire;43 hospitals provided *** findings indicate glitches in evacuation protocols,particularly triage systems,the inadequacies of surge planning and multiagency collaboration,and knowledge limitations in community *** conclusion,the applications of the essential components of flexible surge capacity allow the assessment of hospital preparedness and facilitate the evaluation of guidelines and instructions through scenario-based training exercises.

Pyrolysis-Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry(Py-GC/MS)was adopted to determine the changes in component of BG11-cultivated Desmodesmus sp.(BG11/8-10)pyrolyzed products at different temperatures(300℃-800℃).The results of analysis on a series of total ions chromatogram(TIC)showed that pyrolyzed products of BG11/8-10 at different temperature mainly included aliphatic hydrocarbons,nitrogen compounds,aromatic hydrocarbons,fatty acids,ketones,alcohols,aldehydes and furan *** to the bio-oil(42.36%)generated by pyrolysis at 700℃,the relative content of bio-oil generated at 800℃was the highest up to 56.96%.However,higher temperature could easily cause the generation of large quantities of such pollutants as nitrogen compounds and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs).Therefore,based on lower pollutant discharge and higher bio-oil yield,the optimal pyrolysis temperature of BG11/8-10 was around 700℃.

BACKGROUND Progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis(PFIC)encompasses a group of autosomal recessive disorders with high morbidity and *** in the gene encoding tight junction protein-2(TJP2)have been linked to PFIC type 4(PFIC4),which predominantly presents in ***,there are only limited data from adults with TJP2-related *** report a family with an autosomal recessive disorder with a novel variant in the TJP2 gene in adults with very variable expression of *** SUMMARY The index patient presented at 19 years old with liver cirrhosis and variceal bleeding and was treated with endoscopic banding and *** 2018,he developed primary liver cancer that was treated with radiofrequency ablation followed by liver transplantation in *** testing revealed a novel homozygous TJP2 variant causing PFIC4(TJP2([NM_004817.3]:c.[3334C>T];[3334C>T])).The consanguineous family consists of the father and mother(both heterozygous)and their 12 children,of which five carry the variant in a homozygous state;however,these five siblings have highly variable expression of *** homozygous brothers had cirrhosis and portal hypertension at diagnosis at the ages of 19 and *** other homozygous brothers,age 23 and 19,and the homozygous sister,age 21,have elevated liver enzymes but presently no cirrhosis,which may suggest an age-dependent *** addition,five sisters had severe and mild intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy and carry the TJP2 variant in a homozygous and heterozygous state,*** This novel TJP2 variant is associated with PFIC4 causing severe liver disease with cirrhosis and primary liver cancer in adolescents/adults.

Assays that measure steroid hormones in patient care, public health, and research need to be both accurate and precise, as these criteria help to ensure comparability across all clinical and research applications. This review addresses major issues relevant to assay variability and describes recent activities by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention （CDC） to improve assay performance. Currently, high degrees of accuracy and precision are not always met for testosterone and estradiol measurements; although technologies for steroid hormone measurement have advanced significantly, measurement variability within and across laboratories has not improved accordingly. Differences in calibration and specificity are discussed as sources of variability in measurement accuracy. Ultimately, a combination of factors appears to cause inaccuracy of steroid hormone measurements, with nonuniform assay calibration and lack of specificity being two major contributors to assay variability. Within-assay variability for current assays is generally high, especially at low analyte concentrations. The CDC Hormone Standardization （HoSt） Program is improving clinical assays, as evidenced by a 50% decline in mean absolute bias between mass spectrometry assays and the CDC reference method from 2007 to 2011. This program provides the measurement traceability to CDC reference methods and helps to minimize factors affecting measurement variability.

Accurately predicting stock returns is a conundrum in financial *** this conundrum can bring huge economic benefits for investors and also attract the attention of all circles of *** this paper the authors combine semi-varying coefficient model with technical analysis and statistical learning,and propose semi-varying coefficient panel data model with individual effects to explore the dynamic relations between the stock returns from five companies:CVX,DFS,EMN,LYB,and MET and five technical indicators:CCI,EMV,MOM,ln ATR,ln RSI as well as closing price(ln CP),combine semi-parametric fixed effects estimator,semi-parametric random effects estimator with the testing procedure to distinguish fixed effects(FE) from random effects(RE),and finally apply the estimated dynamic relations and the testing set to predict stock returns in December 2020 for the five *** proposed method can accommodate the varying relationship and the interactive relationship between the different technical indicators,and further enhance the prediction accuracy to stock returns.
