Phase Behaviour and Physical Properties of Alkane Solvent（s）/CO2/N2/DME/Water/Heavy Oil Systems under Reservoir Conditions

The hybrid steam-solvent injection has been considered as a promising technique for enhancing heavy oil/bitumen recov‐ery,while its main mechanisms including the heat transferred and dissolution of solvents (e.g.,CH4,C2H6,C3H8,C4H10,CO2,N2,and DME) into heavy oil/bitumen to reduce its viscosity and swell it are closely related to the phase behaviour of the solvents/water/heavy oil *** allow the seamless integration with the existing reservoir simulators,the traditional cubic equations of state （i.e.,SRK EOS and PR EOS） have been modified and improved to accurately quantify the phase behaviour and physical prop‐erties of the aforementioned systems under equilibrium and nonequilibrium ***,a huge database has been built to de‐velop the corresponding alpha functions by minimizing the deviation between the measured and calculated vapour pressures for wa‐ter as well as non-hydrocarbon and hydrocarbon compounds available from the public *** obtained alpha functions are fur‐ther validated with enthalpy of vaporization for pure substances,and then the reduced temperature has been optimized and the ec‐centric factor has been ***,a pressure-implicit strategy has been developed to optimize the binary interaction param‐eters （BIPs） by treating heavy oil as one pseudocomponent （PC） or multiple ***,the contributions of each solvent to the aforementioned systems have been compared and analyzed within a consistent and unified *** addition to new alpha func‐tions for hydrocarbons and water,respectively,the reduced temperature is found to have its optimum value of 0.59 for the two equa‐tions of state （EOSs）,while 0.60 is recommended for practical *** improved EOSs have been further employed to reproduce the experimentally measured multiphase boundaries （or pseudo-bubble-point pressures）,density,viscosity,（mutual） solubility,and preferential mass transfer for the aforementioned mixtures under equilibrium and nonequilibrium

Predicting cardiovascular events in out-of-hospital patients presenting with atypical chest pain and complete left bundle branch block: role of CTA and echocardiographic Global Longitudinal Strain

Background Out-of-hospital patients presenting with atypical chest pain and complete left bundle branch block(LBBB)have to be stratified for the presence of coronary artery disease and the risk of developing heart failure(HF).We investigated the pro-gnostic role of coronary CT-angiography(CTA)and echocardiographic global longitudinal strain(GLS)in those patients in a mid-term *** Out-of-hospital patients with LBBB underwent echocardiography and a 64-slice CT angiography were evaluated *** of HF or a cardiovascular death were the events *** Seventy-eight patients(32 female;mean age:66.0±10.4 years were *** a follow-up of 33 months(IQR:17-77),one patient(1.5%)experienced a cardiovascular death,14 patients(17.9%)required urgent outpatient visits due to acute de-compensated HF(12 hospitalizations).Echocardiography showed a slightly reduced left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)(50.0%±9.8%)and GLS within the normal range(-16.2%±4.1%).CTA analysis showed coronary stenosis>50%in 28 patients(35.9%).A high Agatston score(>100)was observed in 29.5%.Notably,25 patients(32.1%)were diagnosed with left main coron-ary artery disease and 15 patients(16.7%)underwent revascularization during the follow *** associations were ob-served between events and LVEF(P=0.001),diastolic dysfunction grade≥2(P=0.02),GLS(P<0.001),multiple coronary stenos-is(P=0.04)and Agatston score(P=0.05).Multivariate analysis confirmed the relationships with LVEF(R^(2)=0.89,P<0.001),dia-stolic dysfunction(R^(2)=3.30,P=0.04),GLS(R^(2)=1.43,P<0.001),and Agatston score(R^(2)=1.01,P=0.05).Conclusions In patients with complete LBBB,CTA and GLS identified those at a high risk of development HF.

Wind power prediction interval(WPPI)models in the literature have predominantly been developed for and tested on specific case ***,wind behavior and characteristics can vary significantly across ***,a prediction model that performs well in one case might underperform in *** address this shortcoming,this paper proposes an ensemble WPPI framework that integrates multiple WPPI models with distinct characteristics to improve *** important and often overlooked factor is the role of probabilistic wind power prediction(WPP)in quantifying wind power uncertainty,which should be handled by operating *** reserve in WPPI frameworks enhances the efficacy of *** this regard,the proposed framework employs a novel bi-layer optimization approach that takes both WPPI quality and reserve requirements into *** analysis with different real-world datasets and various benchmark models validates the quality of the obtained WPPIs while resulting in more optimal reserve requirements.

A novel dandelion-based bionic proppant and its transportation mechanism in different types of fractures

Low-permeability reservoirs are generally characterized by low porosity and low permeability. Obtaining high production using the traditional method is technologically challenging because it yields a low reservoir recovery factor. In recent years, hydraulic fracturing technology is widely applied for efficiently exploiting and developing low-permeability reservoirs using a low-viscosity fluid as a fracturing ***, the transportation of the proppant is inefficient in the low-viscosity fluid, and the proppant has a low piling-up height in fracture channels. These key challenges restrict the fluid(natural gas or oil) flow in fracture channels and their functional flow areas, reducing the profits of hydrocarbon *** study aimed to explore and develop a novel dandelion-bionic proppant by modifying the surface of the proppant and the fiber. Its structure was similar to that of dandelion seeds, and it had high transport and stacking efficiency in low-viscosity liquids compared with the traditional ***, the transportation efficiency of this newly developed proppant was investigated experimentally using six different types of fracture models(tortuous fracture model, rough fracture model,narrow fracture model, complex fracture model, large-scale single fracture model, and small-scale single fracture model). Experimental results indicated that, compared with the traditional proppant, the transportation efficiency and the packing area of the dandelion-based bionic proppant significantly improved in tap water or low-viscosity fluid. Compared with the traditional proppant, the dandelionbased bionic proppant had 0.1-4 times longer transportation length, 0.3-5 times higher piling-up height, and 2-10 times larger placement area. Development of a random-forest-copula-factorial analysis(RFCFA)method for predicting propagation between meteorological and hydrological drought

In the context of global climate warming,the propagation of meteorological drought(MD)may aggravate the devastating impact of hydrological drought(HD)on water security and sustainable *** are challenges in accurately predicting the propagation of drought and effectively quantifying the effects of uncertainty,especially in data-deficient *** this study,a novel method called RFCFA is developed through integrating random forest(RF),copula,and factorial analysis(FA)into a general framework as well as applied to the Aral Sea Basin(a typical arid and data-scarce basin in Central Asia)under considering the impact of climate *** findings can be summarized:(1)the projected future drought propagation probability of ASB is 39.2%,which is about 8%higher than historical level;(2)drought propagation is mainly affected by mean climate condition,catchment characteristics(i.e.,elevation,LUCC,and slope),and human activities(i.e.,irrigation and reservoir operation);(3)the lower propagation probability in spring is expected under SSP1-2.6 due to increased snow meltwater,and the drought propagation probability in autumn is the highest(reaching 45.4%)under the influence of reservoir operation;(4)the combined effects of meteorological conditions and agricultural irrigation can lead to a higher probability of future propagation in the upper river basin in *** are valuable for predicting drought propagation risk,revealing main factors and inherent uncertainties,as well as providing support for drought management and disaster prevention.

Volumetric and viscometric properties of aqueous 1,2-dimethylethylenediamine solution for carbon capture application

The present work investigates the volumetric and viscometric properties of an aqueous solution of 1,2-dimethylethylenediamine(DEEDA) over an entire concentration range and an absorber operating temperature range of 313.15K-333.15K at atmospheric pressure. The investigated volumetric properties included the density, excess molar volume, partial molar volume, and the investigated viscometric properties included the viscosity, viscosity deviation, free energy for activation of viscous flow, excess free energy for activation of viscous flow, and excess entropy for activation of viscous flow. The results indicated that there are strong intermolecular interactions and suitable molecular packing in the binary DEEDA-water mixture. Hence, the mixture was found to deviate from a real mixture according to the calculated excess properties. The DEEDA solvent's preliminary volumetric and viscometric properties revealed convincing potential as a novel amine for carbon capture. Additionally, the Redlich-Kister-based correlations showed favorable correlative performance for excess molar volume, viscosity deviation, and excess entropy for activation of viscous flow.

本文报告了为创建护理知识网络(Nursing Knowledge Network,NKN)对不同国家护理院校进行环境扫描调查所收集到的信息。采用在线方式(2021年2-10月)进行环境扫描,探索研究领域的确定、现有资源、预期收益、教学研究创新、知识传播障碍及网络的预期贡献。目标信息提供者包括来自13个国家63所大学的200名护理教师。要求每所大学有1名参与者回答问卷。共有42所大学(约70%)回复,包括巴西21所,加拿大4所,葡萄牙和西班牙各3所,哥伦比亚、墨西哥、秘鲁和美国各2所,智利、意大利和巴拉圭各1所。其分享了相关信息和见解:通过护理高等教育机构之间的协作和交流,全球可以加强共同创新和研究合作能力;较少被研究的领域是知识网络生成证据、为当地科学实践提供信息的潜在重点。这些信息将为进一步了解护理发展,以及地方、区域和全球护理证据应用和传播相关的政府政策与计划制订提供参考。
