With the rapid development of information and communication technologies,it is now time for libraries to re-position their service *** a traditional service mode that is manual-based,libraries should now become functionally more versatile through the provision of multifaceted services via different channels and modes such as self-services,digital libraries,and value-added *** Run Run Shaw Library at the city university of Hong Kong,through strategic space planning between campuses,e-resources collection development,space re-organization,staff deployment,and innovative new services,has formulated a blueprint for its service *** Frequency Identification(RFID) technology,offering opportunities for the Library to improve its service quality,has become a core element of the *** pilot projects focusing on the application of Ultra High Frequency RFID and High Frequency RFID technologies respectively in the library environment have been *** achieve the best results,the Library has taken into consideration different factors,such as time,space,budget,manpower,and organizational *** coordination of these different factors has generated the greatest synergy.

Purpose: To evaluate the management of traumatic injuries of accident victims in the city of Ouagadougou admitted to the trauma emergencies of the university Hospital of Ouagadougou. Material and Method: This was a descriptive prospective study of road traffic accident victims in the city of Ouagadougou on their arrival at trauma emergencies and on the 7th and 30th day after their discharge. A total of 991 patients were identified. The sex ratio was 1.94 with a male predominance. The average age of the patients was 31.5 years. The ratio of caregivers to patients on a 24-hour shift was 7/47, excluding patients hospitalized in the corridors. Results: We note that 81.94% of patients were transported by the fire brigade. The average time to first contact with a caregiver was 11 minutes. Upon admission, accident victims were accompanied in 84% of cases. The combination of paracetamol and néfopam was the most prescribed analgesic (50.2%). The average time between admission and X-ray completion was 101 minutes. Benign skin lesions were the most frequent (48.82%), followed by osteoarticular lesions of the limbs (fractures and dislocations). Ceftriaxone, and the combination of Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid, were the most prescribed antibiotics. Dressings and sutures (44.63%) were the most commonly performed treatments, followed by orthopaedic restraints (37.88%) and open fracture areas in 14.34%. The average time between admission and orthopaedic and/or surgical treatment was 04 hours 25 minutes. Patients discharged against medical advice accounted for 10.80% of cases. In 95% of cases, patients were satisfied with their management. Conclusion: The management of patients admitted to trauma emergencies is satisfactory, but difficulties remain in terms of delays in management. It is imperative to take into account certain factors involving both staff and working conditions in order to reduce the time required to provide care and improve user satisfaction in this emergency unit.

Introduction:Newer skin tests,including the ESAT6-CFP10(EC)skin test,were recommended for diagnosing Mycobacterium tuberculosis(***)***,no data exist assessing the diagnostic performance of the EC skin test among foreign students with different skin ***:A cohort study at Nanjing Medical university screened incoming foreign *** EC skin test was used to assess for *** infection,and results were read at 24,48,72,and 96-hours ***:Among 96 participants,*** infection rates at 24,48,72,and 96-hours post-injection were 3.13%,7.29%,13.54%,and 9.38%,*** infection rates were lower among individuals with darker skin tones,the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.186),and variations were consistent across different measurement *** analysis revealed 5.3%in the continuousincreasing group,86.5%in the low-stable group,and 5.2%in the elevated-decreasing ***,participants in the elevated-decreasing group had lighter skin tones,with trajectory patterns consistent across different skin ***:The EC skin test is safe,and redness diameter is a more reliable indicator than *** should be collected within 48 to 72 hours,with verification at 72 hours crucial if initial results are ***,skin color does not affect EC skin test outcomes.

Hippocampal neuronal loss causes cognitive dysfunction in Alzheimer’s *** hippocampal neurogenesis is reduced in patients with Alzheimer’s *** stimulates adult hippocampal neurogenesis in rodents and improves memory and slows cognitive decline in patients with Alzheimer’s ***,the molecular pathways for exercise-induced adult hippocampal neurogenesis and improved cognition in Alzheimer’s disease are poorly ***,regulator of G protein signaling 6(RGS6)was identified as the mediator of voluntary running-induced adult hippocampal neurogenesis in ***,we generated novel RGS6fl/fl;APP_(SWE) mice and used retroviral approaches to examine the impact of RGS6 deletion from dentate gyrus neuronal progenitor cells on voluntary running-induced adult hippocampal neurogenesis and cognition in an amyloid-based Alzheimer’s disease mouse *** found that voluntary running in APP_(SWE) mice restored their hippocampal cognitive impairments to that of control *** cognitive rescue was abolished by RGS6 deletion in dentate gyrus neuronal progenitor cells,which also abolished running-mediated increases in adult hippocampal *** hippocampal neurogenesis was reduced in sedentary APP_(SWE) mice versus control mice,with basal adult hippocampal neurogenesis reduced by RGS6 deletion in dentate gyrus neural precursor ***6 was expressed in neurons within the dentate gyrus of patients with Alzheimer’s disease with significant loss of these RGS6-expressing ***,RGS6 mediated voluntary running-induced rescue of impaired cognition and adult hippocampal neurogenesis in APP_(SWE) mice,identifying RGS6 in dentate gyrus neural precursor cells as a possible therapeutic target in Alzheimer’s disease.

For a long time, Vietnam has modifications in all aspects in the society. For many years, Vietnam has improved features in administrative works as well as in different areas, such as public administration, finance, and accounting In the accounting content, budget accounting is an important thing which is worth noting. However, along with the achievements, Vietnam is also facing a number of limitations to be overcome for ensuring transparency in the state budget. Since then, the main purpose of the article is to provide a general picture of budget accounting in Vietnam and what has not been done through finding the relationships with budget regulations and international public sector accounting. The results showed that Vietnam will transform and issue the new law on budget and build up a new model for controlling information published by data accounting system in the future.

Practice education is an important part of application-oriented higher education. Yet it poses many challenges when the design of practice education is questioned concerning whether it actually fulfills the education purpose for high quality future professionals. This paper thus introduces an innovated ＂base＂-driven model of practice education in Zhejiang university city College in China, with a purpose to provide empirical experiences that may be valuable for the decision-making of practice education design in higher education institutions. The paper progresses by examining the philosophy of its innovated model, discussing the framework, and further highlights a strategic consideration when designing practice education activities in higher education institutions.

Hypertension is a big problem worldwide. The purpose of this study is to examine the prevalence, knowledge, attitude, and practice about hypertension at Gulu university, Gulu city, Gulu district, Acholi subregion, Northern Uganda. A literature search on hypertension was done. It showed that, in Uganda, a representative number of 17,777 adult patients’ data were analyzed from January 2014 to February 2024. The epidemiological data on awareness of hypertension was found to be at 8%. Of this, 18.3% of the people with hypertension had it under control. The results of the findings were promising. Hypertension is an important public health challenge in Uganda particularly in Northern Uganda where Gulu university falls. In comparison with the two regions of Central Uganda and Northern Uganda, there was a significant number of populations that were not aware of their condition. Those diagnosed were on treatment but the treatment was not adhered to due to stock outs of medicines. Therefore, Measures are required to prevent hypertension, improve awareness, treatment and control within the community, especially at Gulu university where research has never been done.

This paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. The strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. The curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. Subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. The accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANSYS, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

Reducing CO2to carbon-neutral solar fuels can not only alleviate the energy demand but also mitigate the greenhouse *** present,developing an efficient non-noble metal photo/electrocatalytic system for converting CO2to a specific product beyond CO is still a big ***,we report a new cobalt complex bearing 2,2′-bi-1,10-phenanthroline ligand that can photocatalytically reduce CO2to formate （HCOO-）.Turnover number （TON） for HCOO-up to 677 with 99%selectivity can be achieved using organic dyes purpurin as photosensitizer and 1,3-dimethyl-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzo[d]imidazole （BIH） as sacrificial reductant in a CO2-saturated NMP/TEA （v/v,3:1） solution under visible light *** potential electrolysis at-1.41 V （***/Ag Cl） in the presence of 12 m M Et3NHBF4also produced HCOO-with Faradaic efficiency of 39%.Spectroscopic and electrochemical studies suggest that a[CoI-H]species is the key intermediate for CO2reduction.

Very long chain-saturated and-polyunsaturated fatty acids(VLC-SFA and VLC-PUFA, respectively) are a functionally important class of fatty acids containing 28 carbons or more in their acyl chain. They are synthesized by the elongation of very long fatty acids-4(ELOVL4) enzyme, expressed mainly in the brain, retina, skin, testes, and meibomian gland, where these fatty acids are found(Agbaga et al., 2008). Further, these organs exhibit tissuespecific VLC-PUFA and VLC-SFA biosynthesis and incorporation into complex lipids for specific functions. In the brain, skin, and Meibomian glands, the ELOVL4 mainly makes VLC-SFA, which are incorporated into complex sphingolipids. In the retina, the ELOVL4 makes VLC-PUFA that are incorporated into phosphatidylcholine, that are critical for visual function, while in testes and sperm, the VLC-PUFA are incorporated into sphingolipids that are critical for fertility(Yeboah et al., 2021).
