An efficient approach is proposed for the equivalent linearization of frame structures with plastic hinges under nonstationary seismic *** concentrated plastic hinges,described by the Bouc-Wen model,are assumed to occur at the two ends of a linear-elastic beam *** auxiliary differential equations governing the plastic rotational displacements and their corresponding hysteretic displacements are replaced with linearized differential ***,the two sets of equations of motion for the original nonlinear system can be reduced to an expanded-order equivalent linearized equation of motion for equivalent linear *** solve the equation of motion for equivalent linear systems,the nonstationary random vibration analysis is carried out based on the explicit time-domain method with high ***,the proposed treatment method for initial values of equivalent parameters is investigated in conjunction with parallel computing technology,which provides a new way of obtaining the equivalent linear systems at different time *** on the explicit time-domain method,the key responses of interest of the converged equivalent linear system can be calculated through dimension reduction analysis with high *** examples indicate that the proposed approach has high computational efficiency,and shows good applicability to weak nonlinear and medium-intensity nonlinear systems.

Host-Induced Gene Silencing of Effector AGLIP1 Enhanced Resistance of Rice to Rhizoctonia solani AG1-IA

Rice sheath blight, caused by Rhizoctonia solani AG1-IA, is a major disease in rice-growing areas worldwide. Effectors of phytopathogenic fungi play important roles during the infection process of fungal pathogens onto their host plants. However, the molecular mechanisms by which R. solani effectors regulate rice immunity are not well understood. Through prediction, 78 candidate effector molecules were identified. Using the tobacco rattle virus-host induced gene silencing(TRV-HIGS) system, 45 RNAi constructs of effector genes were infiltrated into Nicotiana benthamiana leaves. The results revealed that eight of these constructs resulted in a significant reduction in necrosis caused by infection with the AG1-IA strain GD-118. Additionally, stable rice transformants carrying the double-stranded RNA construct for one of the effector genes, AGLIP1, were generated to further verify the function of this gene. The suppression of the AGLIP1 gene increased the resistance of both N. benthamiana and rice against GD-118, and also affected the growth rate of GD-118, indicating that AGLIP1 is a key pathogenic factor. Small RNA sequencing showed that the HIGS vectors were processed into si RNAs within the plants and then translocated to the fungi, leading to the silencing of the target genes. As a result, AGLIP1 might be an excellent candidate for HIGS, thereby enhancing crop resistance against the pathogen and contributing to the control of R. solani infection.

Determining appropriate process parameters in large-scale laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)additive manufacturing pose formidable challenges that necessitate advanced approaches to minimize trial-and-error during *** work proposed a data-driven approach based on stacking ensemble learning to predict the mechanical properties of Ti6Al4V alloy fabricated by large-scale LPBF for the first *** method can adapt to the complexity of large-scale LPBF data distribution and exhibits a more generalized predictive capability compared to base ***,the stacking model utilized artificial neural network(ANN),gradient boosting regressor,kernel ridge regression,and elastic net as base models,with the Lasso model serving as the *** optimization and cross-validation were utilized for model optimization and training based on a limited data set,resulting in higher predictive accuracy compared to traditional artificial neural network *** statistical analysis of the ANN and stacking models indicates that the stacking model exhibits superior performance on the test set,with a coefficient of determination value of 0.944,mean absolute percentage error of 2.51%,and root mean squared error of 27.64,surpassing that of the ANN *** statistical metrics demonstrate superiority over those obtained from the ANN *** results confirm that by integrating the base models,the stacking model exhibits superior predictive stability compared to individual base models alone,thereby providing a reliable assessment approach for predicting the mechanical properties of metal parts fabricated by the LPBF process.

Since China’s reform and opening-up,the growing disparity between urban and rural areas and regions has led to massive *** China’s Rural Revitalization Strategy and the industrial transfer from the eastern coastal areas to the inland,the migration direction and pattern of the floating population have undergone certain *** the 2017 China Migrants Dynamic Survey(CMDS),excluding Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan regions of China,organized by China’s National Health Commission,the relationship matrix of the floating population is constructed according to the inflow place of the interviewees and their outflow place(the location of the registered residence)in the questionnaire *** then apply the complex network model to analyze the migration direction and network pattern of China’s floating population from the city *** migration network shows an obvious hierarchical *** first-,second-,third-and fourth-tier distribution cities are municipalities directly under the central government,provincial capital cities,major cities in the central and western regions and ordinary cities in all provinces,*** migration trend is from the central and western regions to the eastern coastal *** migration network has‘small world’characteristics,forming nine *** shows that most node cities in the same community are closely linked and geographically close,indicating that the migration network of floating population is still affected by geographical *** the urban-rural and regional differences will promote the rational distribution this *** is necessary to strengthen the reform of the registered residence system,so that the floating population can enjoy urban public services comparable to other populations,and allow migrants to live and work in peace.

Following the framework of E-N model(Eisenberg and Noe,2001),the authors consider a new clearing mechanism based on net liabilities among financial institutions since the liabilities between the counterparties should be deducted accordingly when clearing in *** the basis for systemic risk measurement,similar to the original E-N model,the authors first establish some good properties for the clearing payment vector according to a more general ***,the authors investigate how risk spreads among institutions through the liability network forming the risk contagion ***,the authors illustrate with a specific example that the original E-N clearing mechanism may misidentify the systemic important institutions,and theoretically show that it may also overestimate the risk compared with the netting clearing mechanism.

Intestinal macrophages play crucial roles in both intestinal inflammation and immune homeostasis. They can adopt two distinct phenotypes, primarily determined by environmental cues. These phenotypes encompass the classically activated pro-inflammatory M1 phenotype, as well as the alternatively activated anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype. In regular conditions, intestinal macrophages serve to shield the gut from inflammatory harm. However, when a combination of genetic and environmental elements influences the polarization of these macrophages, it can result in an M1/M2 macrophage activation imbalance, subsequently leading to a loss of control over intestinal inflammation. This shift transforms normal inflammatory responses into pathological damage within the intestines. In patients with ulcerative colitis-associated colorectal cancer (UC-CRC), disorders related to intestinal inflammation are closely correlated with an imbalance in the polarization of intestinal M1/M2 macrophages. Therefore, reinstating the equilibrium in M1/M2 macrophage polarization could potentially serve as an effective approach to the prevention and treatment of UC-CRC. This paper aims to scrutinize the clinical evidence regarding Chinese medicine (CM) in the treatment of UC-CRC, the pivotal role of macrophage polarization in UC-CRC pathogenesis, and the potential mechanisms through which CM regulates macrophage polarization to address UC-CRC. Our objective is to offer fresh perspectives for clinical application, fundamental research, and pharmaceutical advancement in UC-CRC.

The biomimetic construction of a microstructural–mechanical–electrical anisotropic microenvironment adaptive to the native cardiac tissue is essential to repair myocardial infarction(MI).Inspired by the 3D anisotropic characteristic of the natural fish swim bladder(FSB),a novel flexible,anisotropic,and conductive hydrogel was developed for tissue-specific adaptation to the anisotropic structural,conductive,and mechanical features of the native cardiac extracellular *** results revealed that the originally stiff,homogeneous FSB film was tailored to a highly flexible anisotropic hydrogel,enabling its potential as a functional engineered cardiac patch(ECP).In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrated the enhanced electrophysiological activity,maturation,elongation,and orientation of cardiomyocytes(CMs),and marked MI repair performance with reduced CM apoptosis and myocardial fibrosis,thereby promoting cell retention,myogenesis,and vascularization,as well as improving electrical *** findings offer a potential strategy for functional ECP and provides a novel strategy to bionically simulate the complex cardiac repair environment.

The self-assembled structures of H_(3) BDA molecule with multiple meta-dicarboxylic groups and their stim-ulus responses to the guest molecules(COR and T4PT)are thoroughly investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy(STM).STM observations display that two kinds of nanostructures are fabricated by H3 BDA molecules through intermolecular hydrogen bonds,in which a linear structure is formed at a higher con-centration and a flower-like structure is obtained at a lower *** the addition of COR and T4PT,H_(3) BDA appears different responsiveness resulting in different co-assembled structures,*** linear structure is regulated into a flower-like structure by COR and COR molecules are trapped in the *** the pyridine derivative(T4PT)is introduced,a new bicomponent porous structure emerges via the hydrogen bond formed between the carboxyl group and the ***,the deposition of additional COR to the H_(3) BDA/T4PT system results in the breakdown of the porous structure and the generation of H_(3) BDA/COR host-guest *** with density functional theory(DFT)calculations and molecular dynamics(MD)simulations,the transformation phenomenon of bi-component nanostruc-ture induced by guest molecules is *** results are expected to understand the modification effect of guest molecules on the host network,which is of great significance for the design and construc-tion of multi-component nanostructures and crystal engineering.
