We propose a one-step method to prepare multi-qubit GHZ and W states with transmon qubits capacitively coupled to a superconducting transmission line resonator(TLR).Compared with the scheme firstly introduced by Wang et al.[***.B 81(2010) 104524],our schemes have longer dephasing time and much shorter operation time because the transmon qubits we used are not only more robust to the decoherence and the unavoidable parameter variations,but also have much stronger coupling constant with *** on the favourable properties of transmons and TLR,our method is more feasible in experiment.

The concentration of elements in molten metal of AZ31 magnesium alloy after long pulsed Nd：YAG laser processing was quantitatively analyzed by using calibration-free laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy （CF-LIBS）. The composition change in AZ31 magnesium alloy under different laser pulse width was also investigated. The experimental results showed that CF-LIBS can obtain satisfactory quantitative or semi-quantitative results for matrix or major elements, while only qualitative analysis was possible for minor or trace elements. Moreover, it is found that the chemical composition of molten metal will change after laser processing. The concentration of magnesium in molten metal is lower than that present in the base metal. The Mg loss increases with an increase of pulse width in the laser processing. This result shows that the selective vaporization of different elements is affected by the pulse width during laser processing.

We propose an effective method to realize the quantum phase gate the system in which the transmon qubits are capacitively coupled to of one qubit simultaneously controlling N qubits. We use a superconducting transmission line resonator driven by a strong microwave field. In our scheme, the phase gate can be realized in a time （nanosecond-scale） much shorter than deco herence time （microsecond-scale）, and it is more immune to the l/（charge noise and has longer dephasing time due to the fa vorable properties of the transmon qubits in the system.

Surface-induced Morphologies of ABC Star Triblock Copolymer in Spherical Cavities

The morphologies and phase diagrams exhibited by symmetric ABC star triblock copolymer nanoparticles are investigated on the basis of real-space self-consistent field theory. The ABC star triblock copolymers were chosen to be tiling-forming with fixed polymer parameter and the spherical boundaries were modeled using the masking technique. We first study a number of examples where the ABC triblock copolymers confined in spherical cavities with neutral surface. Then, two types of spherical cavity distinct preferential surfaces are considered, including both A-block attractive and repulsive preferential surfaces. We aim at the effects due to various spherical cavity diameters and the degree of interactions between the polymer and the spherical surface. A variety of morphologies, such as ring-like structures, concentric sphere, and irregular cylinder, were identified in phase diagrams. The results show that both the degree of interactions and spherical diameters can influence the formation of morphologies so that ring-like structures and other novel structures could be obtained.

The self-assembly behavior of ABC star triblock copolymers can lead to a large number of nanostructures. Indeed, many new and interesting structures have already been discovered and proven to be hotspot in soft matter physics research. In this work, we introduce different phase diagrams of core-shell-cylinder-forming ABC star triblock copolymers under different conditions, including in-bulk and pore geometries with different sizes. The relation between the pore size geometries and their corresponding structures are also revealed. The different properties of the surface potential field that significantly affect the self-assembly process of ABC star triblock copolymers are investigated as well.

This paper aims to study a second-order semi-implicit BDF finite element scheme for the Kuramoto-Tsuzuki equations in two dimensional and three dimensional *** proposed scheme is stable and the nonlinear term is linearized by the extrapolation ***,we prove that the error estimate in L^(2)-norm is unconditionally optimal which means that there has not any restriction on the time step and the mesh ***,numerical results are displayed to illustrate our theoretical analysis.

The inverse gradient-grained CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloy with a desirable mechanical property that evades the strength-ductility trade-off is fabricated by the process of cold rolling and subsequent laser surface *** to the gradually decayed thermal effect along with the thickness,the grain size increases from the hard core to the soft surface in terms of the inverse gradient-grained sample,which is in good consistent with the microhardness *** hetero-deformation induced strengthening and strain hardening caused by the inverse gradient-grained structure improve the strength-ductility combination,as well as the high-order hierarchal nanotwins due to the enhanced interaction with *** the laser surface heat-treatment technique,the strength and ductility are significantly increased by enlarging the microhardness difference and decreasing the thermal *** the high volume fraction of gradient-grained layer and a great deal of high-order hierarchal nanotwins in the central region,the laser surface heat-treatment technique is a promising way to produce the gradientstructured materials without thickness limitation.

Single DNA Condensation Induced by Hexammine Cobalt with Molecular Combing

We investigated the interaction between DNA and hexammine cobalt III [Co（NH3）6]3＋ by a simple molecular combing method and dynamic light scattering. The average extension of A- DNA-YOYO-1 complex is found to be 20.9μm, about 30% longer than the contour length of the DNA in TE buffer （10 mmol/L Tris, 1 mmol/L EDTA, pH=8.0）, due to bis-intercalation of YOYO-1. A multivalent cation, hexammine cobalt, is used for DNA condensation. We find that the length of DNA-[Co（NH3）6]3＋ complexes decrease from 20.9 μm to 5.9μm as the concentration of the [Co（NH3）6]3＋ vary from 0 to 3 μmol/L. This observation provides a direct visualization of single DNA condensation induced by hexammine cobalt. The results from the molecular combing studies are supported by dynamic light scattering investigation, where the average hydrodynamic radius of the DNA complex decreases from 203.8 nm to 39.26 nm under the same conditions. It shows that the molecular combing method is feasible for quantitative conformation characterization of single bio-macromolecules.

A unique method is proposed to encapsulate solar cells and improve their power conversion efficiency by using a millimeter-sized cylindrical lens array concentrator. Millimeter-sized epoxy resin polymer（ERP） cylindrical lens array concentrators are fabricated by the soft imprint technique based on polydimethylsiloxane stamps. The photovoltaic measurements show that millimeter-sized ERP cylindrical lens array concentrators can considerably improve the power conversion efficiency of silicon solar cells. The validity of the proposed method is proved by the coupled optical and electrical simulations. The designed solar cell devices with the advantages of high-efficiency and convenient cleaning are very useful in practical applications.
