Manual Order Picking Route Optimization in Distribution Warehouse of Chain Furniture Retail Enterprise

Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of online shopping, the offline sales of IKEA Fuzhou have been declining since 2020. Because the cost of distribution warehouse is a major expense for offline chain furniture retailers, and the picking process is a key activity in distribution warehouse operations. To reduce the cost of distribution warehouse and alleviate the survival pressure of the offline chain furniture retailers, this paper focuses on optimizing the picking route of the IKEA Fuzhou distribution warehouse. It starts by creating a two-dimensional coordinate system for the storage location of the distribution warehouse using the traditional S-type picking strategy to calculate the distance and time of the sorting route. Then, the problem of optimizing the picking route is then transformed into the travelling salesman problem (TSP), and picking route optimization model is developed using a genetic algorithm to analyze the sorting efficiency and picking route optimization. Results show that the order-picking route using the genetic algorithm strategy is significantly better than the traditional S-type picking strategy, which can improve overall sorting efficiency and operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Thus, this establishes an implementation process for the order-picking path based on genetic algorithm optimization to improve overall sorting efficiency and operations, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and alleviate the survival pressure of pandemic-affected enterprises.

On a Heuristic Point of View about the Generalization of Curie Law to Cosmic Higgs Fields with the Casimir Effect

Condensed state physics demonstrates that the Curie temperature is the point at which spontaneous magnetization drops to zero, marking the critical transition where ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic materials transform into paramagnetic substances. Below the Curie temperature, a material remains ferromagnetic;above it, the material becomes paramagnetic, with its magnetic field easily influenced by external magnetic fileds. For example, the Curie temperature of iron (Fe) is 1043 K, while that of neodymium magnets ranges from 583 to 673 K. From both physics and mathematics perspectives, examining the temperature properties of materials is essential, as it provides valuable insights into their electromagnetic and thermodynamic behaviors. This paper makes a bold assumption and, for the first time, carefully verifies the existence of a Casimir temperature at 0.00206 K under conditions of one-atomic spacing.

AGV Scheduling Optimization of Automated Port Based on Disruption Management

The recent rapid development of China’s foreign trade has led to the significant increase in waterway transportation and automated container ports. Automated terminals can significantly improve the loading and unloading efficiency of container terminals. These terminals can also increase the port’s transportation volume while ensuring the quality of cargo loading and unloading, which has become an inevitable trend in the future development of ports. However, the continuous growth of the port’s transportation volume has increased the horizontal transportation pressure on the automated terminal, and the problems of route conflicts and road locks faced by automated guided vehicles (AGV) have become increasingly prominent. Accordingly, this work takes Xiamen Yuanhai automated container terminal as an example. This work focuses on analyzing the interference problem of path conflict in its horizontal transportation AGV scheduling. Results show that path conflict, the most prominent interference factor, will cause AGV scheduling to be unable to execute the original plan. Consequently, the disruption management was used to establish a disturbance recovery model, and the Dijkstra algorithm for combining with time windows is adopted to plan a conflict-free path. Based on the comparison with the rescheduling method, the research obtains that the deviation of the transportation path and the deviation degree of the transportation path under the disruption management method are much lower than those of the rescheduling method. The transportation path deviation degree of the disruption management method is only 5.56%. Meanwhile, the deviation degree of the transportation path under the rescheduling method is 44.44%.

L~p Boundedness of Fourier Integral Operators in the Class S0,0

We first prove the L~2-boundedness of a Fourier integral operator where it’s symbol a ∈S~0(R~n× R~n) and the phase function S is non-degenerate, satisfies certain conditions and may not be positively homogeneous in ξ-variables. Then we use the above property, Paley’s inequality, covering lemma of Calderon and Zygmund etc., and obtain the L~p-boundedness of Fourier integral operators if(1) the symbol a ∈ Λand Supp a = E×R~n, with E a compact set of R~n(m=-|1/p-1/2|n, 1n/2; 2n/p),(2) the symbol a ∈ Λ(m=-|1/p-1/2|n, 1n/2, k’>n/p; 2n/p, k’>n/2) with the phase function S(x, ξ) = xξ + h(x, ξ), x, ξ ∈ R~n non-degenerate,satisfying certain conditions and ?ξ h ∈ S~0(R~n× R~n), or(3) the symbol a ∈ Λ, the requirements for m, k, k’ are the same as in(2), and ?h is not in S~0(R~n× R~n) but the phase function S is non-degenerate, satisfies certain conditions and is positively homogeneous in ξ-variables.

Articular cartilage lubricates the contact surfaces in human joints and provides a shock-absorbing effect which protects the joint under dynamic loading. However, this shock-absorbing effect is gradually reduced as the result of normal wear, tear and aging-related cartilage loss. Thus, with the increasing average human life expectancy, the issue of joint health has attracted significant interest in recent decades. In developing new materials for the repair or regeneration of damaged articular cartilage, it is essential that the difference in the mechanical properties of healthy and damaged cartilages is well-understood. In the present study, the hardness and Young＇s modulus of damaged and healthy porcine articular cartilage samples are evaluated via a quasi-static nanoindentation technique. A dynamic mechanical analysis method is then applied to determine the viscoelastic properties of the two samples. The results presented in this study provide a useful insight into the mechanical properties of articular cartilage at the mesoscale, and therefore fill an important gap in the literature.

Ensemble Model for Spindle Thermal Displacement Prediction of Machine Tools

Numerous factors affect the increased temperature of a machine tool, including prolonged and high-intensity usage,tool-workpiece interaction, mechanical friction, and elevated ambient temperatures, among others. Consequently,spindle thermal displacement occurs, and machining precision suffers. To prevent the errors caused by thetemperature rise of the Spindle fromaffecting the accuracy during themachining process, typically, the factory willwarm up themachine before themanufacturing ***, if there is noway to understand the tool spindle’sthermal deformation, the machining quality will be greatly affected. In order to solve the above problem, thisstudy aims to predict the thermal displacement of the machine tool by using intelligent algorithms. In the practicalapplication, only a few temperature sensors are used to input the information into the prediction model for realtimethermal displacement prediction. This approach has greatly improved the quality of tool ***,each algorithm has different performances in different environments. In this study, an ensemble model is used tointegrate Long Short-TermMemory (LSTM) with Support VectorMachine (SVM). The experimental results showthat the prediction performance of LSTM-SVM is higher than that of other machine learning algorithms.

Background and purpose To analyse the long-term risk of ischaemic stroke and the clinical effects of antithrombotics on the risk of haemorrhagic stroke in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods A retrospective cohort study was conducted using a population-based database taken from Taiwan National Health Insurance Research *** with SLE between 2000 and 2008 were registered and matched with two controls by the index date,age,gender and Charlson Comorbidity Index(CCI).These subjects were followed until either stroke event or 31 December *** HRs(aHRs)for strokes were estimated with Cox regression models,and the cumulative incidence of ischaemic stroke was analysed by log-rank test and Kaplan-Meier survival *** In total,8310 patients with SLE and 16620 patients without SLE were *** general,patients with SLE had higher rates of ischaemic stroke(5.4%vs 3.3%)and haemorrhagic stroke(1.5%vs 0.6%)than in *** multivariate analysis adjusted to age,gender,CCI,urbanisation level and antithrombotics uses,aHRs of all strokes,ischaemic stroke and haemorrhagic stroke were 1.73(95%CI:1.54 to 1.94),1.65(95%CI:1.45 to 1.87)and 2.24(95%CI:1.71 to 2.95),respectively,in patients with *** with SLE were significantly more likely to suffer ischaemic stroke than patients without SLE,even 10 years after SLE diagnosis(6.12%vs 3.50%,p<0.001).Antiplatelet use increased the risk of haemorrhagic stroke in SLE group(aHR=1.74,95%CI:1.18 to 2.57).Conclusions Patients with SLE are at greater risk of developing ischaemic stroke that lasts for 10 *** should be carefully administered to prevent cardiovascular events in patients with SLE due to the risk of haemorrhagic stroke.

Characterization of shear stresses in nickel-based superalloy Mar-M247 when orthogonal machining with coated carbide tools

Mar-M247 is a nickel-based alloy which is well known as difficult-to-machine material due to its characteristics of high strength, poor thermal diffusion and work hardening. Calculation of shear stress by an analytical force model to indicate the effect of coating material, cutting speed, feed rate on tool life and surface roughness was conducted experimentally. Cutting tests were performed using round inserts, with cutting speeds ranging from 50 to 300 rn/min, and feed rates from 0.1 to 0.4 mm/tooth, without using cooling liquids. The behavior of the TiN and TiCN layers using various cutting conditions was analyzed with orthogonal machining force model. Cutting results indicate that different coated tools, together with cutting variables, play a significant role in determining the machinability when milling Mar-M247.
