Precipitation scenario alteration leads to grievous ecological consequences in ecosystems,especially on the Qinghai-Tibet *** and fungal community and their abundant and rare taxa in soil ecosystems may respond differently to the changed ***,more attention needs to be paid to the sensitivity of bacteria and fungi and their abundant and rare taxa to precipitation *** responses of bacterial and fungal populations and their abundant and rare taxa concerning diversity,assembly,and interactions to manipulative changes of precipitation were explored via imitating no precipitation,little precipitation,and medium precipitation using 16S rRNA gene and ITS amplicon *** results indicated that the change rate of fungal Simpson diversity with precipitation was higher than that of *** slope of the modified stochasticity ratio(MST)value of fungi to precipitation was steeper than that of *** Simpson diversity and the MST value of abundant and rare taxa within bacteria had no difference with *** contrast,those of abundant taxa within fungi varied more than rare ones with *** unveiling the differential responses of microbial populations with discrepant characteristics,this study allowed us to understand the different microbial communities responding to rainfall on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

[Objectives]This study was conducted to screen suitable seed stems of Fritillaria thunbergii *** different provenances and to provide a theoretical basis for the high-yielding and high-efficiency cultivation of *** *** to different places.[Methods]*** *** four different provenances including Zhejiang,Nantong and chongqing were introduced and cultivated in Wanzhou of *** contents of available Zn,Fe,Mn,Cu,Mo,N,P,K,Ca and Mg in rhizosphere soil of *** *** five growing stages were determined after selecting different stem sizes for field cultivation.[Results]Small stems of Pan an and Ningbo provenances(SSG3,121-160/kg)and middle stems of Nantong and Fengjie provenances(SSG2,81-120/kg)showed higher soil availability.[Conclusions]In the process of introduction and cultivation of *** Miq.,high yield and high efficiency can be achieved by selecting smaller seed stems of *** Miq.

Estimation of cancer cell migration in biomimetic random/oriented collagen fiber microenvironments

Increasing data indicate that cancer cell migration is regulated by extracellular matrixes and their surrounding biochemical microenvironment,playing a crucial role in pathological processes such as tumor invasion and ***,conventional two-dimensional cell culture and animal models have limitations in studying the influence of tumor microenvironment on cancer cell ***,the further development of microfluidic technology has provided solutions for the study of such *** utilize microfluidic chip to build a random collagen fiber microenvironment(RFM)model and an oriented collagen fiber microenvironment(OFM)model that resemble early stage and late stage breast cancer microenvironments,*** combining cell culture,biochemical concentration gradient construction,and microscopic imaging techniques,we investigate the impact of different collagen fiber biochemical microenvironments on the migration of breast cancer MDA-MB-231-RFP *** results show that MDA-MB-231-RFP cells migrate further in the OFM model compared to the RFM model,with significant differences ***,we establish concentration gradients of the anticancer drug paclitaxel in both the RFM and OFM models and find that paclitaxel significantly inhibits the migration of MDA-MB-231-RFP cells in the RFM model,with stronger inhibition on the high concentration side compared to the low concentration ***,the inhibitory effect of paclitaxel on the migration of MDA-MB-231-RFP cells in the OFM model is *** findings suggest that the oriented collagen fiber microenvironment resembling the late-stage tumor microenvironment is more favorable for cancer cell migration and that the effectiveness of anticancer drugs is *** RFM and OFM models constructed in this study not only provide a platform for studying the mechanism of cancer development,but also serve as a tool for the initial measurement of drug screening.

The global coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has become one of the biggest threats to the world since *** respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts are the main targets for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection for they highly express angiotensin-converting enzyme-2 and transmembrane protease serine *** patients suffering from COVID-19,gastrointestinal symptoms have ranged from 12%to 61%.Anorexia,nausea and/or vomiting,diarrhea,and abdominal pain are considered to be the main gastrointestinal symptoms of *** has been reported that the direct damage of intestinal mucosal epithelial cells,malnutrition,and intestinal flora disorders are involved in ***,the underlying mechanisms remain ***,in this study,we reviewed and discussed the correlated mechanisms that cause gastrointestinal symptoms in order to help to develop the treatment strategy and build an appropriate guideline for medical workers.

Determination of Two Synthetic Pigments in Lifei Tablets by HPLC and LC-MS/MS Spectrometry

[Objectives]To identify stained Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus in Lifei Tablets with carmine and acid red 73 as target substances.[Methods]High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)and liquid chromatography tandem-mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)was used to analyze the 70%methanol extract of the *** HPLC was equipped with an Inertstain-C_(18)(250 mm×4.6 mm,5μm)chromatographic *** mobile phase was acetonitrile-5 mmol/L ammonium acetate solution,gradient elution:volume flow rate of 1.0 mL/min,column temperature of 30℃,detection wavelength of 509 ***-MS/MS was equipped with a Waters-C_(18)(2.1 mm×150 mm,1.7μm)chromatographic column,the mobile phase was methanol-0.1%formic acid solution(containing 5 mmol/L ammonium acetate),gradient elution;the volume flow rate was 0.3 mL/min;ESI ion source,positive ion mode,full scan of primary and secondary mass spectrometry.[Results]Carmine and acid red 73 showed good linear relationship in HPLC and LC-MS/MS,with r greater than *** sample recovery and RSD values of HPLC and LC-MS/MS met the *** RSD of the results determined by HPLC and LC-MS/MS was not greater than 5.0%.Both methods had good compatibility and could be used for the examination of carmine and acid red 73 in Lifei Tablets.[Conclusions]The method is reliable and reproducible and can be used to identify stained Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus in Lifei Tablets.

Spatiotemporal features of farmland scaling and the mechanisms that underlie these changes within the three gorges reservoir area

Discussions regarding the functional transformation of agricultural utilization and the mechanisms that underlie these changes within the three gorges reservoir area(TGRA)reflect variati ons in the relati on ship betwee n people and their environme nt in China's central and wester ns part,an area of mountains and reservoirs.A clear understa nding of these changes also provides the scientific basis for the development of multi-functional agriculture in typical mountainous *** counties were selected for analysis in this study from the hinterland of the TGRA;we analyzed changes in farmland scaling and corresponding under?lying mechanisms by defining the concepts of“Scaling Farmland”(SF)and by using the software packages ArcGIS10.2,SPSS,and Geographical *** results of this analysis show that sources of increased SF have mainly comprised cultivated and shrub *** deed,with the excepti on of some alpine off-season vegetables,SF growth has mainly occurred in low altitude areas and in places where the slope is less than 30°.We also show that spatial changes in various SF types have also been substantially different,but in all cases are closely related to road and township administrative *** factors at the patch level,including elevation and slope,have contributed significantly to SF,while at the township level,underlying socioeconomic and humanistic factors have tended to include road traffic and agricultural population *** contrast,at the region al level,underlying driving forces within each have tended to be more significant than overall study area *** show that while changes in,and the development of,SF have been driven by numerous factors,agri?cultural policies have always been amongst the most *** results clearly elucidate general land use transformation patter ns within the mountain regi ons of western China.

Gray blight disease(GBD)causes significant losses in tea production in *** genes and biological processes involved in resistance to fungal disease in tea plants have been identified,specific mechanisms of the GBD infection process remain *** this study,morphological and multi-gene(TEF-TUB-ITS)phylogenetic characteristics were used to identify isolate CLBB1 of Pseudopestalotiopsis *** tests confirmed that isolate CLBB1 from tea leaves caused GBD in the susceptible tea cultivar Wuyi Rock(Camellia sinensis *** ***).Spores began to germinate 24 h after infection(hai),and after 48 h,elongated fungal hyphae formed from a single *** analysis revealed that 482,517,and 369 genes were differentially expressed at 24,48,and 72 hai,respectively,in Wuyi Rock tea *** CLBB1 infection elicited phenotype-related responses and activated defense-related pathways,including plant–pathogen interaction,MAPK signaling,and plant hormone signal transduction,suggesting a possible mechanism underlying phenotype-based susceptibility to ***,a new *** strain causing GBD in the tea cultivar‘Shuixian’was discovered in this *** analysis indicated that pathogen invasion activated chitin-related MAPK pathways and that tea plants required a hormone to restrict CLBB1.

Determination of Harmful Elements and Analysis of Pollution Level in Lysimachia christinae

[Objectives]To detect content of Pb,Cd,Hg,As,Cu,Zn,and Cr in Lysimachia christinae,and to analyze the pollution level.[Methods]Seven kinds of elements in *** were determined by Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and analyzed by single index and comprehensive index.[Results]The seven heavy metal elements showed good linearity in their respective concentration *** recoveries of the samples were 84.5%-109.5%,and the RSD values were 2.30%-5.10%.Comparing the measured results of heavy metal elements with the limit values stipulated in the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and other standards,the Cr element in 19 batches of samples exceeded the standard,and the Zn element in 7 batches of samples exceeded the *** exceeding rates were 100.0%and 36.8%,respectively;the content of other heavy metal elements did not exceed the *** order of individual index from large to small was Cr,Zn,Cd,Hg,Cu,As,and Pb,and the average comprehensive pollution level was mild pollution and above.[Conclusions]*** was mainly polluted by Cr,followed by Zn;this study can provide basic data for drafting of the limit standard for heavy metal elements in ***.

Vegetation maps are important sources of information for biodiversity conservation,ecological studies,vegetation management and restoration,and national strategic decision *** current Vegetation Map of China(1:1000000)was generated by a team of more than 250 scientists in an effort that lasted over 20 years starting in the ***,the vegetation distribution of China has experienced drastic changes during the rapid development of China in the last three decades,and it urgently needs to be updated to better represent the distribution of current vegetation ***,we describe the process of updating the Vegetation Map of China(1:1000000)generated in the 1980s using a‘‘crowdsourcing-change detection-classification-expert knowledge"vegetation mapping strategy.A total of 203,024 field samples were collected,and 50 taxonomists were involved in the updating *** resulting updated map has 12 vegetation type groups,55 vegetation types/subtypes,and 866 vegetation formation/sub-formation *** overall accuracy and kappa coefficient of the updated map are 64.8%and 0.52 at the vegetation type group level,61%and 0.55 at the vegetation type/subtype level and 40%and 0.38 at the vegetation formation/sub-formation *** compared to the original map,the updated map showed that 3.3 million km^2 of vegetated areas of China have changed their vegetation type group during the past three decades due to anthropogenic activities and climatic *** expect this updated map to benefit the understanding and management of China’s terrestrial ecosystems.

Characteristics of sedimentation and channel adjustment linked to the three gorges reservoir

Construction of large dams is attractive because of their great benefits in flood control, hydropower generation, water resources utilization, navigation improvement, etc. However, dam construction may bring some negative impacts on sediment transport and channel dynamics adjustments. Due to the effects of recent water and soil conservation projects, sediment retention in the newly constructed large upstream reservoirs, and other factors, the sedimentation in the three gorges reservoir(TGR) is quite different from the amount previously predicted in the demonstration stage. Consequently, based on the measured data, characteristics of sedimentation and the related channel deformation in the TGR were analyzed. The results imply that sediment transport tended to be reduced after the three gorges Project(TGP). Sedimentation slowed dramatically after 2013 and indicated obvious seasonal characteristics. Due to the rising water level in the TGR in the flood season, the yearly sediment export ratio(Eratio) was prone to decrease. The water level near the dam site should be reasonably regulated according to the flow discharge to improve the sediment delivery capacity and reduce sedimentation in the TGR, and to try to avoid situations where the flood retention time is close to 444 h. The depositional belt was discontinuous in the TGR and was mainly distributed in the broad reaches, and only slight erosion or deposition occurred in the gorge reaches. Sedimentation in the broad and gorge reaches accounted for 93.8% and6.2% of the total sedimentation, respectively. The estuarine reach located in the fluctuating backwater area experienced alternate erosion-deposition, with a slight accumulative deposition in the curved *** mainly occurred in the perennial backwater area. The insight gained in this study can be conducive to directly understanding of large reservoir sedimentation and mechanism of channel adjustment in the reservoir region in the main channel of large
