The development of redox bifunctional electrocatalysts with high performance,low cost,and long lifetimes is essential for achieving clean energy *** study proposed an atom capture strategy for anchoring dual single atoms（DSAs） in a zinc-zeolitic imidazolate framework（Zn-ZIF）,followed by calcination under an N2atmosphere to synthesize ruthenium-platinum DSAs supported on a nitrogendoped carbon substrate（RuPt DSAs-NC）.Theoretical calculations showed that the degree of Ru 5dxz-*O 2pxorbital hybridization was high when*O was adsorbed at the Ru site,indicating enhanced covalent hybridization of metal sites and oxygen ligands,which benefited the adsorption of intermediate *** presence of the RuPtN6active center optimized the absorption-desorption behavior of intermediates,improving the electrocatalytic performance of the oxygen reduction reaction（ORR） and the oxygen evolution reaction（DER）,RuPt DSAs-NC exhibited a 0.87 V high half-wave potential and a 268 mV low overpotential at 10 mA cm-2in an alkaline ***,rechargeable zinc-air batteries（ZABs）achieved a peak power density of 171 MW *** RuPt DSAs-NC demonstrated long-term cycling for up to 500 h with superior round-trip *** study provided an effective structural design strategy to construct DSAs active sites for enhanced electrocata lytic performance.

Heart failure(HF)is a clinical hallmark of cardiovascular syndrome leading to substantial morbidity,repeated hospitalization,and enormous healthcare *** elderly populations continue to increase,biomarker-guided diagnosis and treatment for age-related cardiac decline have become *** evidence demonstrates that N-terminal proBNP(NT-proBNP)can provide a unique window into the diagnosis and risk stratification with ***,a simple yet robust aptasensor is developed for on-site recognizing the NT-proBNP by its targeting aptamer,thus achieving the accurate diagnosis of *** aptasensing system is prepared by absorbing the fluorophore-labeled aptamer strand onto the graphene oxide(GO),leading to efficient quenching without possible off-site signal *** aptamer strand can specifically identify target NT-proBNP molecules via a versatile conformational transformation,resulting in the desorption of the aptamer-NTproBNP complexes from GO and re-generation fluorescence signal,thus allowing sensitive detection of NT-proBNP in 37 clinical blood *** advantage of the high specificity of aptamer-guaranteed recognitions of NT-proBNP,this aptasensor system readily achieves better diagnostic performance for HF than commercially adopted chemiluminescence immunoassay(Siemens,CLIA)in hospitals in terms of accuracy(89.2%vs 83.8%),specificity(89.5%vs 84.2%),and positive predictive value(88.9%vs 83.3%).This work provides a stable option for the diagnosis and treatment of elderly HF-related diseases inclinics.

Urban roads can be designated as surface flood passages to transport excess runoff during extreme storms, thereby preventing local flooding, which is known as the major drainage system. However, this practice poses significant risks, including human loss and property damage, due to the high flow rate and velocity carried by roads. Moreover, urban roads with low flood-resilience may significantly hamper the transportation function during severe storms, leading to dysfunction of the city. Therefore, there is an urgent need to transform risk-oriented flood passages into resilient urban road-based flood passages. This paper presents a systematic review of existing methodologies in designing a road network-based flood passage system, along with the discussion of new technologies to enhance system resilience. The study also addresses current knowledge gaps and future directions. The results indicate that flood management measures based on the urban road network should integrate accessibility assessment, lifeline and emergency planning to ensure human well-being outcomes. Furthermore, the special needs and features of vulnerable groups must be taken into serious consideration during the planning stage. In addition, a data-driven approach is recommended to facilitate real-time management and evaluate future works.

Natural enzymes,such as horseradish peroxidase(HRP),are a class of important biocatalysts with the high specificity,but their catalytic efficiency is usually ***,the higher catalytic efficiency induced by the confinement effect is promising in optical sensing *** this work,a dark-field light scattering sensing platform was fabricated by the confinement effect of HRP from hybridization chain reaction(HCR)and then released to solution by the toehold-mediated strand displacement reaction(TSDR).Then,HRP catalyzed the 3,3,5,5-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)to TMB^(2+)with the assistance of hydrogen peroxide,which etched the gold nanorods(Au NRs)with the weakened light *** single-particle assay was established based on the decreased light scattering intensity of AuNRs under dark-field *** proposed assay revealed excellent analytical performance within a linear range from 25 pmol/L to 600 pmol/L,and a low limit of detection of 3.12 pmol/***,it also manifested satisfactory recovery of mi RNA-21 in human serum *** high sensitivity,excellent specificity,and universal applicability make this sensing platform promising for disease diagnosis.

The unexpected scaling phenomena have resulted in significant damages to the oil and gas industries,leading to issues such as heat exchanger failures and pipeline clogging. It is of practical and fundamental importance to understand the scaling mechanisms and develop efficient anti-scaling strategies. However,the underlying surface interaction mechanisms of scalants(e.g., calcite) with various substrates are still not fully understood. In this work, the colloidal probe atomic force microscopy(AFM) technique has been applied to directly quantify the surface forces between calcite particles and different metallic substrates,including carbon steel(CR1018), low alloy steel(4140), stainless steel(SS304) and tungsten carbide,under different water chemistries(i.e., salinity and p H). Measured force profiles revealed that the attractive van der Waals(VDW) interaction contributed to the attachment of the calcium carbonate particles on substrate surfaces, while the repulsive electric double layer(EDL) interactions could inhibit the attachment behaviors. high salinity and acidic p H conditions of aqueous solutions could weaken the EDL repulsion and promote the attachment behavior. The adhesion of calcite particles with CR1018 and4140 substrates was much stronger than that with SS304 and tungsten carbide substrates. The bulk scaling tests in aqueous solutions from an industrial oil production process showed that much more severe scaling behaviors of calcite was detected on CR1018 and 4140 than those on SS304 and tungsten carbide, which agreed with surface force measurement results. Besides, high salinity and acidic p H can significantly enhance the scaling phenomena. This work provides fundamental insights into the scaling mechanisms of calcite at the nanoscale with practical implications for the selection of suitable antiscaling materials in petroleum industries.

Precise measurement of micro-dispersion for optical devices(optical fiber,lenses,etc.)holds paramount significance across domains such as optical fiber communication and dispersion interference ***,due to its complex system,complicated process,and low reliability,the traditional dispersion measurement methods(interference,phase shift,or time delay methods)are not suitable for the accurate measurement of micro-dispersion in a wide spectral ***,we propose a spectral-interferometry-based diff-iteration(SiDi)method for achieving accurate wide-band micro-dispersion *** an optical frequency comb,based on the phase demodulation of the dispersion interference spectrum,we employ the carefully designed SiDi method to solve the dispersion curve at any position and any *** approach is proficient in precisely measuring micro-dispersion across a broadband spectrum,without the need for cumbersome wavelength scanning processes or reliance on complex high-repetition-rate combs,while enabling adjustable *** efficacy of the proposed method is validated through simulations and *** employed a chip-scaled soliton microcomb(SMC)to compute the dispersion curves of a 14 m single-mode fiber(SMF)and a 0.05 m *** to a laser interferometer or the theoretical value given by manufacturers,the average relative error of refractive index measurement for single-mode fiber(SMF)reaches 2.8×10^(-6) and for glass reaches 3.8×10^(-6).The approach ensures high precision,while maintaining a simple system structure,with realizing adjustable resolution,thereby propelling the practical implementation of precise measurement and control-dispersion.

Metal halide perovskites(MHP)are potential candidates for the photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2)due to their long photogenerated carrier lifetime and charge diffusion ***,the conventional long-chain ligand impedes the adsorption and activation of CO_(2)molecules in practical ***,a ligand modulation technology is employed to enhance the photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction activity of lead-free Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6)microcrystals(MCs).The Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6)MCs passivated by Oleic acid(OLA)and Octanoic acid(OCA)are used for photocatalytic CO_(2)*** results show that the surface defects and electronic properties of Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6)MCs can be adjusted through ligand *** with the OLA-Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6),the OCA-Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6)catalyst demonstrated a significant improvement in the catalytic yield of CO and CH_(4).The CO and CH_(4)catalytic yields of OCA-Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6)reached 171.88 and34.15μmol g^(-1)h^(-1)which were 2.03 and 12.98 times higher than those of OLA-Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6),and the total electron consumption rate of OCA-Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6)was 615.2μmol g^(-1)h^(-1)which was 3.25 times higher than that of OLA-Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6).Furthermore,in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectra revealed the enhancement of photocatalytic activity in Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6)MCs induced by ligand *** study illustrates the potential of lead-free Cs_(2)AgInCl_(6)MCs for efficient photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction and provides a ligand modulation strategy for the active promotion of MHP photocatalysts.

Crystallinity and crystal structure greatly influence the photocatalytic behavior of *** g-C3N4 produced by traditional thermal-induced polycondensation reaction bears low crystallinity and thus poor photoactivity,which originates from the incomplete polymerization of the precursor containing amine groups,abundant hydrogen bonds,and unreacted amino,as well as cyanide functional groups in the *** photocatalytic process,these residual functional groups often work as electron trap sites,which may hinder the transfer of electrons on the plane,resulting in low ***,crystalline carbon nitride(CCN)was reported as a promising photocatalyst because its increased crystallinity not only reduces the number of carriers recombination centers,but also increases charge conductivity and improves light utilization due to extendedπ-conjugated systems and delocalizedπ-*** such,we summarize the recent studies on CCN-based photocatalysts for the photoactivity ***,the unique structure and properties of CCN materials are ***,the preparation methods and modification strategies are well *** also sum up the applications of CCN-based materials in the environmental purification and energy ***,this review concerning CNN materials ends with prospects and challenges in the obtainment of high crystallinity by effective techniques,and the deep understanding of photocatalytic mechanism.
