Foraminifera are highly diverse and have a long evolutionary *** key bioindicators,their phylogenetic schemes are of great importance for paleogeographic applications,but may be hard to recognize *** phylogenetic relationships within the prominent genus Amphistegina are still *** studies on Amphistegina have so far only focused on genetic diversity within single species and suggested a cryptic diversity that demands for further *** molecular sequencing-based approaches,different mass spectrometry-based proteomics approaches are increasingly used to give insights into the relationship between samples and organisms,especially as these do not require reference *** better understand the relationship of amphisteginids and test different proteomics-based approaches we applied de novo peptide sequencing and similarity clustering to several populations of Amphistegina lobifera,*** and *** also analyzed the dominant photosymbiont community to study their influence on holobiont *** analyses indicate that especially de novo peptide sequencing allows to reconstruct the relationship among foraminiferal holobionts,although the detected separation of *** from *** and *** may be partly influenced by their different photosymbiont *** resulting dendrograms reflect the separation in two lineages previously suggested and provide a basis for future studies.

The tunable porosity and functional metal sites imparting MOFs with favorable capability for CO adsorbing and efficient catalysis centers might create catalytic environments suitable for CO RR. Yet, the poor electrical conductivity and electron donating capability set obstacles for MOFs being as efficient CO RR electrocatalysts. Diverse strategies have been proposed to increase the electron conductivity of MOFs such as in-situ growth of novel MOF structures and integration of multi-functional units in MOF based composites. In our work, a facile and versatile chemical vapor deposition protocol is reported to introduce MCp into MOF-545-Co. Thus-obtained MCp@MOF-545-Co(M = Fe, Co, Ni) composites can efficiently combine the advantages of MCp and MOF-545-Co to present excellent catalysis performance in electrocatalytic CO RR. Specifically, CoCp@MOF-545-Co can selectively convert CO to CO with a high FECO of 97%. The high performances might be attributed to the strong binding-interaction between metallocene and metalloporphyrin. This strategy paves a new way to improve the CO RR efficiency of MOFs and might shed light on the development of highly selective CO RR electrocatalysts.

Dietary supplementation with calcitriol or quercetin improved eggshell and bone quality by modulating calcium metabolism

This study was aimed to investigate the effects of dietary calcitriol or quercetin supplementation on eggshell and bone quality of laying *** trial 1,72 Hy-Line Brown layers(80-week-old)with weak-shelled strength(25 to 30 N)were assigned into 4 dietary treatments with 6 replicates of 3 birds and fed a basal diet(4%calcium level)or basal diets supplemented with 0.5%calcium,5μg/kg calcitriol or 500 mg/kg quercetin for 4 *** trial 2,360 Hy-Line Brown layers(60-week-old)were divided into 3 groups with 8 replicates of 15 birds:control group(basal diet),calcitriol group(basal diet+5μg/kg calcitriol),and quercetin group(basal diet+500 mg/kg quercetin).This trial lasted for 12 *** results showed that dietary calcitriol or quercetin improved eggshell quality in both trials(P<0.05).In trial 2,compared with the control group,both calcitriol and quercetin supplementations improved femoral bone quality,calcium retention of hens and calcium content in uterine fluid at 18.5 h post-oviposition(PO)(P<0.05),along with enhancing uterine *** to the control group,supplemental calcitriol or quercetin up-regulated the relative mRNA expression levels of uterine transient receptor potential cation channel,subfamily V,member 6(TRPV6)at 8.5 h PO and plasma membrane calcium-ATPase(PMCA),vitamin D receptor(VDR),estrogen receptor alpha(ERα)at 18.5 h PO(P<0.05),but down-regulated the uterine caspase 3(CASP3)relative mRNA expression level at 8.5 h PO(P<0.05).Meanwhile,the femoral relative mRNA expression levels of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase(TRAP)(up-regulated at 8.5 and 18.5 h PO)and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)(up-regulated at 8.5 h PO but down-regulated at 18.5 h PO)were also affected by calcitriol or quercetin supplementation(P<0.05).Compared to the calcitriol,quercetin increased hen-day egg production and femoral medullary bone volume/bone tissue volume but reduced femoral stiffness(P<0.05),which were accompanied by increased relative mRNA expression levels

Estimation of the TBM advance rate under hard rock conditions using XGBoost and Bayesian optimization

The advance rate(AR)of a tunnel boring machine(TBM)under hard rock conditions is a key parameter in the successful implementation of tunneling *** this study,we improved the accuracy of prediction models by employing a hybrid model of extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)with Bayesian optimization(BO)to model the TBM *** develop the proposed models,1286 sets of data were collected from the Peng Selangor Raw Water Transfer tunnel project in *** database consists of rock mass and intact rock features,including rock mass rating,rock quality designation,weathered zone,uniaxial compressive strength,and Brazilian tensile *** specifications,including revolution per minute and thrust force,were considered to predict the TBM *** accuracies of the predictive models were examined using the root mean squares error(RMSE)and the coefficient of determination(R^(2))between the observed and predicted yield by employing a five-fold cross-validation *** showed that the BO algorithm can capture better hyper-parameters for the XGBoost prediction model than can the default XGBoost *** robustness and generalization of the BO-XGBoost model yielded prominent results with RMSE and R^(2) values of 0.0967 and 0.9806(for the testing phase),*** results demonstrated the merits of the proposed BO-XGBoost *** addition,variable importance through mutual information tests was applied to interpret the XGBoost model and demonstrated that machine parameters have the greatest impact as compared to rock mass and material properties.

The selection and coordinated application of government innovation policies are crucial for guiding the direction of enterprise innovation and unleashing their innovation ***,due to the lengthy,voluminous,complex,and unstructured nature of regional innovation policy texts,traditional policy classification methods often overlook the reality that these texts cover multiple policy topics,leading to lack of *** contrast,topic mining technology can handle large-scale textual data,overcoming challenges such as the abundance of policy content and difficulty in *** topic models can partition numerous policy texts into topics,they cannot analyze the interplay among policy topics and the impact of policy topic coordination on enterprise innovation in ***,we propose a big data analysis scheme for policy coordination paths based on the latent Dirichlet allocation(LDA)model and the fuzzyset qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)method by combining topic models with qualitative comparative *** LDA model was employed to derive the topic distribution of each document and the word distribution of each topic and enable automatic classi-fication through algorithms,providing reliable and objective textual classification ***,the fsQCA method was used to analyze the coordination paths and dynamic ***,experimental analysis was conducted using innovation policy text data from 31 provincial-level administrative regions in china from 2012 to 2021 as research *** results suggest that the proposed method effectively partitions innovation policy topics and analyzes the policy configuration,driving enterprise innovation in different regions.

The genetic bases and molecular mechanisms involved in the assembly and function of the flagellum components as well as in the regulation of the flagellar movement are not fully understood, especially in humans. There are several causes for sperm immotility, of which some can be avoided and corrected, whereas other are related to genetic defects and deserve full investigation to give a diagnosis to patients. This review was performed after an extensive literature search on the online databases PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science. Here, we review the involvement of regulatory pathways responsible for sperm motility, indicating possible causes for sperm immotility. These included the calcium pathway, the cAMP-dependent protein kinase pathway, the importance of kinases and phosphatases, the function of reactive oxygen species, and how the regulation of cell volume and osmolarity are also fundamental components. We then discuss main gene defects associated with specific morphological abnormalities. Finally, we slightly discuss some preventive and treatments approaches to avoid development of conditions that are associated with unspecified sperm immotility. We believe that in the near future, with the development of more powerful techniques, the genetic causes of sperm immotility and the regulatory mechanisms of sperm motility will be better understand, thus enabling to perform a full diagnosis and uncover new therapies.

Comprehensive assessment of real-time precise products from IGS analysis centers

Real-Time Precise Point Positioning(RT-PPP)has been one of the research hotspots in GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System)community for ***-time precise products of satellite orbits and clocks are the prerequisite for ***,it is of great importance to investigate the current multi-GNSS real-time precise products in State Space Representation(SSR)from diferent analysis *** this article,SSR products from 10 analysis centers are comprehensively evaluated by comparing them with the fnal products and performing the kinematic *** results show that analysis centers CNES(centre National D’Etudes Spatiales)and WHU(GNSS Research Center of Wuhan University)provide the most complete products with the best *** the accuracy of real-time products for the GNSSs,the accuracies of orbit and clock products are better than 5 cm and 0.15 ns,respectively,for Global Positioning System(GPS),followed by Galileo navigation satellite system(Galileo),BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-3),GLObal NAvigation Satellite System(GLONASS),and BeiDou-2 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-2).Meanwhile,the results of the RT-PPP with quad-system show that the positioning accuracies are 1.76,1.12 and 2.68 cm in east,north,and up directions,respectively,and the convergence time to 0.1,0.1,0.2 m for corresponding directions is 15.35 min.
