RFCNet:Remote Sensing Image Super-Resolution Using Residual Feature Calibration Network

In the field of single remote sensing image Super-Resolution(SR),deep Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)have achieved top *** further enhance convolutional module performance in processing remote sensing images,we construct an efficient residual feature calibration block to generate expressive *** harvesting residual features,we first divide them into two parts along the channel *** part flows to the Self-Calibrated Convolution(SCC)to be further refined,and the other part is rescaled by the proposed Two-Path Channel Attention(TPCA)*** corrects local features according to their expressions under the deep receptive field,so that the features can be refined without increasing the number of *** proposed TPCA uses the means and variances of feature maps to obtain accurate channel attention ***,a region-level nonlocal operation is introduced to capture long-distance spatial contextual information by exploring pixel dependencies at the region *** experiments demonstrate that the proposed residual feature calibration network is superior to other SR methods in terms of quantitative metrics and visual quality.

On August 8,2017,an M_(W)6.5 earthquake occurred in Jiuzhaigou County,Sichuan Province,china,on the eastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet *** study investigates the coseismic deformation field and fault model with ascending and descending Sentinel-1 synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images,aftershock distribution,and elastic half-space dislocation *** regional fault slip pattern is then quantita-tively examined using the boundary element *** results show that the ascending and descending interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)coseismic deformation fields display an overall NNW-SSE trend,with more significant deformation on the southwest side of the *** coseismic fault geometry is divided into NW and SE sub-faults with strikes of 162.1°and 149.3°,*** coseismic fault slip is dominated by a left-lateral strike-slip movement with an average rake of-2.31°,mainly occurring at a depth of 0-13.04 km with a shape of an approximately inverted *** fault slip features two peak slip zones,with a maximum of 1.39 *** total seismic moment is 6.34×10^(18) N·m(M_(W)6.47).The boundary element calculation quantitatively indicates that the regional fault slip pattern may be mainly attributable to the changing strike and *** strike changes from NNWeSSE to nearly NS direction,and the dip gradually decreases from the Jiuzhaigou earthquake fault in the north to the Huya fault in the *** these characteristics,the Huya and the Jiuzhaigou earthquake faults form the eastern boundary of the Minshan uplift zone and accommodate the accumulated deformation.

Airborne laser scanning （ALS） is a technique used to obtain Digital Surface Models （DSM） and Digital Terrain Models （DTM） efficiently, and filtering is the key procedure used to derive DTM from point clouds. Generating seed points is an initial step for most filtering algorithms, whereas existing algorithms usually define a regular window size to generate seed points. This may lead to an inadequate density of seed points, and further introduce error type I, especially in steep terrain and forested areas. In this study, we propose the use of object- based analysis to derive surface complexity information from ALS datasets, which can then be used to improve seed point generation. We assume that an area is complex if it is composed of many small objects, with no buildings within the area. Using these assumptions, we propose and implement a new segmentation algorithm based on a grid index, which we call the Edge and Slope Restricted Region Growing （ESRGG） algorithm. Surface complexity information is obtained by statistical analysis of the number of objects derived by segmentation in each area. Then, for complex areas, a smaller window size is defined to generate seed points. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm could greatly improve the filtering results in complex areas, especially in steep terrain and forested areas.

In this paper,we build a remote-sensing satellite imagery priori-information data set,and propose an approach to evaluate the robustness of remote-sensing image feature *** building TH Priori-Information(TPI)data set with 2297 remote sensing images serves as a standardized high-resolution data set for studies related to remote-sensing image *** TPI contains 1)raw and calibrated remote-sensing images with high spatial and temporal resolutions(up to 2 m and 7 days,respectively),and 2)a built-in 3-D target area model that supports view position,view angle,lighting,shadowing,and other *** on TPI,we further present a quantized approach,including the feature recurrence rate,the feature match score,and the weighted feature robustness score,to evaluate the robustness of remote-sensing image feature *** quantized approach gives general and objective assessments of the robustness of feature detectors under complex remote-sensing *** remote-sensing image feature detectors,including scale-invariant feature transform(SIFT),speeded up robust features(SURF),and priori information based robust features(PIRF),are evaluated using the proposed approach on the TPI data *** results show that the robustness of PIRF outperforms others by over 6.2%.

satellite constellations are promising in enabling the global ***,the increasing constellation size also complicates tracking,telemetry and command(TT&C)*** groundbased and space-based approaches have encountered significant obstacles due to,e.g.,the limited satellite visible arc and long transmission *** the fast development of intersatellite communications,synergy among multiple connected satellites can be exploited to facilitate TT&C system *** leads to networked TT&C,which requires much less predeployed infrastructures and even performs better than traditional TT&C *** this paper,we elaborate system characteristics of networked TT&C compared with traditional ground-based and spacebased TT&C,and propose the unique security challenges and opportunities for networked TT&C,which includes secure routing and trust ***,since networked TT&C is a novel scenario with few relevant researches,we first investigate the current researches on secure routing and trust mechanisms for traditional terrestrial and satellite networks,and then accordingly deliver our security perspectives considering the system characteristics and security requirements of networked TT&C.

With the extreme drought(flood)event in southern china from July to August in 2022(1999)as the research object,based on the comprehensive diagnosis and composite analysis on the anomalous drought and flood years from July to August in 1961-2022,it is found that there are significant differences in the characteristics of the vertically integrated moisture flux(VIMF)anomaly circulation pattern and the VIMF convergence(VIMFC)anomaly in southern china in drought and flood years,and the VIMFC,a physical quantity,can be regarded as an indicative physical factor for the"strong signal"of drought and flood in southern ***,in drought years,the VIMF anomaly in southern china is an anticyclonic circulation pattern and the divergence characteristics of the VIMFC are prominent,while those are opposite in flood *** on the SST anomaly in the typical draught year of 2022 in southern china and the SST deviation distribution characteristics of abnormal draught and flood years from 1961 to 2022,five SST high impact areas(i.e.,the North Pacific Ocean,Northwest Pacific Ocean,Southwest Pacific Ocean,Indian Ocean,and East Pacific Ocean)are selected via the correlation analysis of VIMFC and the global SST in the preceding months(May and June)and in the study period(July and August)in 1961-2022,and their contributions to drought and flood in southern china are *** study reveals not only the persistent anomalous variation of SST in the Pacific and the Indian Ocean but also its impact on the pattern of moisture ***,it can be discovered from the positive and negative phase fitting of SST that the SST composite flow field in high impact areas can exhibit two types of anomalous moisture transport structures that are opposite to each other,namely an anticyclonic(cyclonic)circulation pattern anomaly in southern china and the coastal areas of east *** two types of opposite anomalous moisture transport structures can not only drive the forma

In this paper, we propose a shape-control scheme for non-linear stochastic dynamical systems to enable us to shape the probability density function(PDF) of the state variable. First, we derive the PDF analytical expression using the Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov(FPK) equation obtained from stochastic ***, we control the PDF shape by devising a piecewise linear control law whose parameters are calculated using the conjugated gradient method. Finally, we perform contrast simulation experiments to validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed algorithm.
