Based on data gathered from the china Family Panel Studies(CFPS)in 2010 and 2016,this paper examines income poverty and multidimensional poverty among the Chinese *** with the non-elderly population,poverty incidence was relatively lower among china’s elderly population in 2010,but the elderly poor were significantly more *** 2016,the level of poverty became more or less the same between elderly and non-elderly *** with 2010,the poverty incidence on various deprived dimensions and the average share of deprivation for the elderly fell sharply in 2016 by an average of 30 and 10 percentage points,*** in poverty incidence was 10 percentage points higher for the rural elderly than for the urban *** estimating the multidimensional poverty index for the elderly by the“two no worries and three guarantees”criteria,we found that the intensity of multidimensional poverty was only about half that of the income ***“two worries,”*** lack of food and clothing,contributed more to multidimensional poverty than did what the“three guarantees”target ***,healthcare and housing,especially on income and residential energy *** healthcare contributed more than 20%to the“three guarantees.”

The Environment and Disaster reduction Satellite Constellation is a small satellite constellation developed by china for disaster *** two primary optical satellites,HJ-A and HJ-B,were successfully launched in September *** satellites carry a charge-coupled device,hyperspectral imager,and infrared scanner,and have the capability for wide coverage and rapid revisits in disaster reduction *** scheduled to be launched is the HJ-C,which will carry synthetic aperture radar and have the ability to provide allweather observations at any time.A follow-up‘44’satellite constellation including four optical satellites and four radar satellites is in the works,to achieve the capability of quantitative,all-weather,all-time disaster forecasting,monitoring and *** corresponding disaster reduction application system has a series of functions including remote sensing data processing,disaster monitoring and assessment,decision support,and user service and information distribution,which serves the whole process of disaster *** its construction has been carried out,the system has successfully dealt with several huge domestic and international natural disasters,and effectively improved scientific decision *** follow-up system’s construction will integrate,update,and extend the original system to fulfill large-scale,quantitative,allweather disaster operation application needs.

Small Satellite Constellation for Environment and Disaster Monitoring and Forecasting(SSCEDMF), loaded with the Charge Coupled Device(CCD), hyperspectral imager(HSI), infrared scanner(IRS), and S band Synthetic Aperture Radar(S-SAR), featuring large width, high revisitation rate, and medium spatial resolution, is an important part of china’s earth observation system. On 6 September 2008, china successfully launched two small optical satellites(HJ-1-A/B) of SSCEDMF. Since then, the Office of the china National Committee for Disaster reduction has, according to the demand of disaster reduction and relief, actively organized the application of these satellites for disaster reduction, established a sound system of products applying space technology in disaster reduction, and included HJ-1-A/B into the national system of disaster reduction and alleviation decision-making support services. This has played an important role in the monitoring and early warning of emerging major natural disasters at home and abroad.

Highly soluble multi-walled carbon nanotubes （MWNTs） were prepared by radiation-induced free radical graft polymerization of vinyl acetate （VAc） onto pristine MWNT surfaces. High resolution transmission electron microscopy （HR-TEM）, Fourier transform infrared （FT1R） spectroscopy, and micro-Raman spectroscopy were used to confirm that poly（vinyl acetate）（PVAc） had been successfully grafted onto the surface of the MWNTs. The effects of experimental parameters on the degree of graft- ing （DG） of PVAc were also investigated, including adsorbed dose, dose rate, initial monomer concentration, and solvents. The grafted MWNTs （MWNTs-g-PVAc） exhibited good solubility in common organic solvents at high mass fraction. In addition, a superhydrophobic composite membrane could be readily fabricated by vacuum filtration of MWNTs-g-PVAc onto a support- ing membrane, as was confirmed by water contact angle testing and visualization by scanning electron microscopy.

Disaster damage assessment is an important basis for the objective assessment of the social impacts of disasters and for the planning of recovery and reconstruction. It is also an important research field with regard to disaster mitigation and risk management. Quantitative assessment of physical damage refers to the determination of the physical damage state of the exposed elements in a disaster area, reflecting the aggregate quantities of damages. It plays a key role in the comprehensive damage assessment of major natural hazard-induced disasters. The National Disaster reduction center of china has established a technical work flow for the quantitative assessment of disaster physical damage using remote sensing *** article presents a quantitative assessment index system and method that can be integrated with high-resolution remote sensing data, basic geographical data, and field survey data. Following the 2014 Ludian Earthquake in Yunnan Province, china, this work flow was used to assess the damage to buildings, roads, and agricultural and forest resources, and the assessment results were incorporated into the Disaster Damage Comprehensive Assessment Report of the 2014 Ludian Earthquake for the State Council of china. This article also outlines some possible improvements that can be addressed in future work.

In recent years,medium entropy alloys have become a research hotspot due to their excellent physical and chemical *** controlling reasonable elemental composition and processing parameters,the medium entropy alloys can exhibit similar properties to high entropy alloys and have lower *** this paper,a FeCoNi medium entropy alloy precursor was prepared via sol-gel and coprecipitation methods,respectively,and FeCoNi medium entropy alloys were prepared by carbothermal and hydrogen *** phases and magnetic properties of FeCoNi medium entropy alloy were *** showed that FeCoNi medium entropy alloy was produced by carbothermal and hydrogen reduction at 1500℃.Some carbon was detected in the FeCoNi medium entropy alloy prepared by carbothermal *** alloy prepared by hydrogen reduction was uniform and showed a relatively high ***,the hydrogen reduction product exhibited better saturation magnetization and lower coercivity.
