Variations of sediment organic phosphorus and organic carbon during the outbreak and decline of algal blooms in Lake Taihu,china

In this study,sediment organic phosphorus(OP)and organic carbon(OC)in Lake Taihu,china,as well as their relationships,were analyzed during the outbreak and decline of algal blooms(ABs)over a five-month field *** results showed synchronous temporal changes in the sediment OP and OC contents with the development of *** addition,there was a significant positive correlation between the sediment OP and OC(p<0.01),suggesting simultaneous deposition and consumption during the ABs *** sediment OP and OC contents decreased significantly at the early and last stages of the ABs outbreak and increased at the peak of the ABs outbreak and during the ABs *** temporal variation patterns suggest that the sediment OC and OP contents did not consistently increase during the ABs outbreak,even though algae are an important source of organic matter in *** depletion or enrichment of OC and OP in sediments may also depend on the scale of the ABs *** obtained results revealed significant differences in the sediment OC and OP contents between the months(p<0.05).In addition,OP in the sediments was dominated by orthophosphate diester(phospholipids and DNA-P)and orthophosphate monoester during the ABs outbreak and decline,*** active OC contents and proportions in the sediments in the ABs outbreak were significantly lower than those observed in the ABs decline period,demonstrating the significant impacts of the ABs outbreak and decline on the sediment OC and OP in Lake Taihu.

Complex optimization problems hold broad significance across numerous fields and ***,as the dimensionality of such problems increases,issues like the curse of dimensionality and local optima trapping also *** address these challenges,this paper proposes a novel Wild Gibbon Optimization Algorithm(WGOA)based on an analysis of wild gibbon population *** two strategies:community search and community *** community search strategy facilitates information exchange between two gibbon families,generating multiple candidate solutions to enhance algorithm ***,the community competition strategy reselects leaders for the population after each iteration,thus enhancing algorithm *** assess the algorithm’s performance,CEC2017 and CEC2022 are chosen as test *** the CEC2017 test suite,WGOA secures first place in 10 *** the CEC2022 benchmark functions,WGOA obtained the first rank in 5 *** ultimate experimental findings demonstrate that theWildGibbonOptimization Algorithm outperforms others in tested *** underscores the strong robustness and stability of the gibbonalgorithm in tackling complex single-objective optimization problems.

As a fundamental logistics service,the express delivery(ED)industry provides production and consumption activities to maintain efficient supply chain *** plays an important role in promoting industrial development and maintaining daily life and *** study examined the effects of COVID-19 on the ED industry using ED package delivery data from 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in *** a difference-in-differences method,the COVID-19 outbreak was found to have a positive effect and epidemic prevention and control(EPC)policies were found to have negative effects on the development of the ED *** addition to EPC policies,the Chinese government has implemented other short-term economic interventions(SEI),such as the resumption of work and production(RWP),policies to balance economic growth,and epidemic *** study divided the pandemic period into three stages to analyze the different impacts of EPC and SEI policy changes on the ED *** RWP policies adopted during the pandemic positively impacted the volume and income of packages delivered to the ED *** conclusions of this study are significant for the ED industry in addressing public health emergencies and for the Chinese government to formulate EPC and SEI policies during epidemic periods.

Drug resistance is one of the most intractable issues in targeted therapy for cancer *** has also been demonstrated to be related to cancer heterogeneity,which promotes the emergence of treatment-refractory cancer cell *** on how cancer cells develop resistance during the encounter with targeted drugs and the immune system,we propose a mathematical model for studying the dynamics of drug resistance in a conjoint heterogeneous tumor-immune *** analyze the local geometric properties of the equilibria of the *** simulations show that the selectively targeted removal of sensitive cancer cells may cause the initially heterogeneous population to become a more resistant ***,the decline of immune recruitment is a stronger determinant of cancer escape from immune surveillance or targeted therapy than the decay in immune predation *** analysis of model parameters provides insight into the roles of the immune system combined with targeted therapy in determining treatment outcomes.

Recursive Filtering for Stochastic Systems With Filter-and-Forward Successive Relays

In this paper,the recursive filtering problem is considered for stochastic systems over filter-and-forward successive relay(FFSR)*** FFSR is located between the sensor and the remote filter to forward the *** the successive relay,two cooperative relay nodes are adopted to forward the signals alternatively,thereby existing switching characteristics and inter-relay interferences(IRI).Since the filter-and-forward scheme is employed,the signal received by the relay is retransmitted after it passes through a linear *** objective of the paper is to concurrently design optimal recursive filters for FFSR and stochastic systems against switching characteristics and IRI of ***,a uniform measurement model is proposed by analyzing the transmission mechanism of ***,novel filter structures with switching parameters are constructed for both FFSR and stochastic *** the help of the inductive method,filtering error covariances are presented in the form of coupled difference ***,the desired filter gain matrices are further obtained by minimizing the trace of filtering error ***,the stability performance of the filtering algorithm is analyzed where the uniform bound is guaranteed on the filtering error ***,the effectiveness of the proposed filtering method over FFSR is verified by a three-order resistance-inductance-capacitance circuit system.
