Virtual Landslide Disaster environments are important for multilevel simulation,analysis and decision-making about Landslide ***,in the existing related studies,co.plex disaster scene objects and relationships are not deeply analyzed,and the scene co.tents are fixed,which is not co.ducive to meeting multilevel visualization task requirements for diverse *** resolve the above issues,a co.struction method for Personalized Virtual Landslide Disaster Environments Based on Knowledge Graphs and Deep Neural networks is proposed in this *** characteristics of relationships among users,scenes and data were first discussed in detail;then,a knowledge graph of virtual Landslide Disaster environments was established to clarify the co.plex relationships among disaster scene objects,and a Deep Neural network was introduced to mine the user history information and the relationships among object entities in the knowledge ***,a personalized Landslide Disaster scene data reco.mendation mechanism was ***,a prototype system was developed,and an experimental analysis was *** experimental results show that the method can be used to reco.mend intelligently appropriate disaster information and scene data to diverse *** reco.mendation accuracy stabilizes above 80%–a level able to effectively support The co.struction of Personalized Virtual Landslide Disaster environments.

A morphology-based edge detection method has been used to study sea surface temperature (SST) fronts in the Taiwan Strait and its adjacent area. The method is based on mathematical morphology with multi-dimensional and multi-structural elements. Using six years’ SST data from September 2002 to August 2008, we distinguished the large SST front like Kuroshio Front as well as the smaller ones: namely Taiwan Bank Front, Zhe-Min co.stal Front and Zhang-Yun Ridge Front. The seasonal and monthly variations of these fronts were also studied. Generally, the SST fronts are stronger in winter but weaker in summer. And the fronts are at their active stage during the period from January to May but at their declining stage during the period from July to October.

On-ramp co.trol is an effective approach for alleviating traffic co.gestion on ***,there is still a lack of on-ramp co.trol approaches applicable to large regional highway ***,we develop a targeted on-ramp co.trol approach applicable to regional highway networks by taking advantage of the vehicle source information,which pinpoints the on-ramps co.tributing major traffic flow to the highway ***,a co.bined and tunable co.trolling index is proposed to enhance the equity of the generated traffic co.trol *** proposed on-ramp co.trol approach is validated on an actual large highway network using actual travel demand *** indicate that the proposed approach can well mitigate the traffic co.gestion of highway bottleneck while at the same time enhancing the equity and practicability of the generated traffic co.trol scheme.

5G network is expected to support massive user co.nections and exponentially increasing wireless services,which makes network security unprecedentedly *** traditional security-guaranteeing techniques which rely heavily on cryptographic approaches at upper layers of the protoco. stack,physical-layer security(PLS) solutions fully take advantages of the characteristics of wireless channels to degrade the received signal qualities at the malicious users,and realize keyless secure transmission via signal design and signal processing *** avoids the difficulties in the distribution and management of secret keys,and provides flexible security levels through adaptive transmission protoco. ***,PLS techniques match the features of 5G networks ***,the application of PLS to 5G networks is a promising solution to address the security *** article presents a co.prehensive review of the state-of-the-art PLS techniques,and discusses their applications in 5G *** first summarize the principle and advantages of PLS techniques,and point out the reasons why PLS is suitable for 5G ***,we review the existing PLS methods in literature,and highlight severalPLS solutions that are expected to be applied in 5G ***,we co.clude this article and figure out some further research directions.

This paper experimentally studied the features of air-water flow during the emptying of a water-filled prismatic tank with a bottom orifice under different *** experiments were co.ducted with both circular and elliptical orifices,with and without *** evolution of bubbles,water pressure variation,and water level change with time were reco.ded in the experiments and *** on the results,the evolution of bubbles co.ld be mainly divided into three stages of formation,deformation,and *** was found important to the emptying process,with which the drainage efficiency was much higher than that under the unventilated ***,under the unventilated co.dition,the drainage efficiency with the circular orifice was slightly higher than that with the elliptical orifice.

The main objective of this work is to propose new mixture response parameters and to co.pare co.relations with rut depths and sensitivity of permanent deformation response parameters based on field extracted co.es and lab-mixed duplicates. A new "mix-co.fined" test is developed and four new parameters for this test are proposed. co.relation co.fficients with rut depths and co.fficients of variation (sensitivity) are co.pared between the four new and two existing parameters. Some parameters are reco.mended to be used for the newly developed test. The results show that, newly developed test can capture the changes of permanent deformation of asphalt mixtures. Only one new parameter (D1 of Stephen Price model) and one existing parameter (flow number, Fn ) have strong co.relations with rut depths of asphalt pavements (R2 greater than 0.7) and have relative small sensitivity (co.fficient of variation, co., less than 30%). For polymer modified asphalt mixtures, the parameter D1 rather than Fn should be used. These findings can be used to check the permanent deformation of asphalt mixture during the mix design.

Frost heave in seasonally frozen regions is a one-dimensional process that co.ld severely damage infrastructure *** state,temperature and water migration are important factors for frost *** work investigated the effects of soil temperature and volumetric water co.tent on the transient frost heave ratio during the freezing of saturated silty clay in an open system and analyzed the relationships between the transient frost heave ratio and freezing rate and between temperature gradient and frost heave *** results show that the frost heave ratio,frost heave rate,and freezing rate are positively co.related with the temperature gradient since the temperature gradient drives the water migration during freezing,indicating the transient temperature gradient co.ld be used to evaluate the frost heave of saturated silty *** transient freezing rate and transient frost heave ratio are logarithmically related to the transient frost heave ratio and transient temperature gradient,*** effects of transient temperature gradient on frost heave are the principal mechanism responsible for different frost heave characteristics and uneven frost heave along a subgrade of the same soil type.
