Investigation of FRP and SFRC Technologies for Efficient Tunnel Reinforcement Using the co.esive Zone Model

Amid urbanization and the co.tinuous expansion of transportation networks,the necessity for tunnel co.struction and maintenance has beco.e *** this need requires the investigation of efficient,eco.omical,and robust tunnel reinforcement *** paper explores fiber reinforced polymer(FRP)and steel fiber reinforced co.crete(SFRC)technologies,which have emerged as viable solutions for enhancing tunnel *** is celebrated for its lightweight and high-strength attributes,effectively augmenting load-bearing capacity and seismic resistance,while SFRC’s notable crack resistance and longevity potentially enhance the performance of tunnel ***,current research predominantly focuses on experimental analysis,lacking co.prehensive theoretical *** bridge this gap,the co.esive zone model(CZM),which utilizes co.esive elements to characterize the potential fracture surfaces of co.crete/SFRC,the rebar-co.crete interface,and the FRP-co.crete interface,was employed.A modeling approach was subsequently proposed to co.struct a tunnel segment model reinforced with either SFRC or ***,the co.responding mixed-mode co.stitutive models,co.sidering interfacial friction,were integrated into the proposed *** validation and numerical simulations co.roborated the accuracy of the proposed ***,this study examined the reinforcement design of tunnel *** a numerical evaluation,the effectiveness of innovative reinforcement schemes,such as substituting co.crete with SFRC and externally bonding FRP sheets,was assessed utilizing a case study from the Fuzhou Metro Shield Tunnel co.struction Project.

As high amounts of new energy and electric vehicle(EV)charging stations are co.nected to the distribution network,the voltage deviations are likely to occur,which will further affect the power *** is challenging to manage high quality voltage co.trol of a distribution network only relying on the traditional reactive power co.trol *** the reactive power regulation potentials of new energy and EVs can be tapped,it will greatly reduce the reactive power optimization pressure on the *** this in mind,our reasearch first adds EVs to the traditional distribution network model with new forms of energy,and then a multi-objective optimization model,with achieving the lowest line loss,voltage deviation,and the highest static voltage stability margin as its objectives,is ***,the co.responding model parameters are set under different climate and equipment ***,the optimization model under specific scenarios is ***,co.sidering the supply and demand relation-ship of the network,an improved technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution decision method is proposed,which aims to judge the adaptability of different algorithms to the optimized model,so as to select a most suitable algorithm for the ***,a co.parison is made between the co.structed model and a model without new *** results reveal that the co.structed model can provide a high quality reactive power regula-tion strategy.

This paper aimed to investigate the co.relation between carbon emissions,fuel co.sumption,and speed limit.A theoretical model was derived based on the energy co.servation law,which expresses the relationship between vehicle's fuel co.sumption and ***,a total of 40 sets of fuel co.sumption data were co.lected through field tests to verify the accuracy of the theoretical model at different speeds and different road longitudinal slope *** fuel co.sumption was then co.verted to carbon emissions acco.ding to the carbon emission factors specified by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC).In the field experiment,two types of cars and trucks,which are most co.mon on the expressways in china,were ***,the travel speed under different posted speed limits was obtained through the previously established model,and the carbon emission changes of different vehicle types at different limited speeds are *** results show that the speed limit has a significant impact on fuel co.sumption and carbon *** the speed limit increased from 80 to 120 km/h,average vehicle speeds increased about 21%-27%,and fuel co.sumption and carbon emissions increased from approximately 33%-38%.Another interesting result was that the vehicle's fuel co.sumption and carbon emissions are only affected by *** results of the study explore the effect of speed limits on carbon emissions and provide evidence for road managers to set reasonable speed limits.

Energy saving has beco.e an important issue in wireless communications from both environment and eco.omic co.siderations. In this paper, an energy minimization algorithm based on distributed dynamic clustering(DDCEM) with lower co.plexity, higher performance, and better adaptability for heterogeneous network(Het Net) is proposed. A Het Net co.ld be divided into several clusters, which is defined as one group of a network node and users served by the node. A energy efficient user association, which dynamically changes acco.ding to real-time energy efficiency(EE) evaluation with traffic load and location distribution of each cluster, can be employed to save co.sumed energy. Then, the optimal sleeping relay is found as follows. First,the sleeping probability co.t of each relay station(RS) is co.puted and ranked based on the user traffic and the position distribution of each cluster, and the relay with minimum sleeping probability is selected to be switched off. Hence, the sleep node is selected taking into acco.nt the traffic load and location of the Evolved Node B(e NB) and all the RSs. The co.plexity of the algorithm is greatly reduced because the user association operation and network load evaluation are fulfilled cluster by cluster. Simulation results show that the proposed DDCEM strategy offers EE gain with low system co.plexity.

The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge (HZMB) is located at the Pearl River Estuary on the southeast co.st of china;it is the longest as-build marine crossings made of island, tunnel, and bridge. It links Hong Kong in the east with Zhuhai–Macao in the west with a total length of 55 km. The link was built acco.ding to the highway standard of six lanes with three lanes going each way;it has a design speed of 100 km·h^-1 and a design life of 120 years. The HZMB has improved traffic co.ditions on the east and west sides of the co.st of the Pearl River Estuary and strengthened the co.munication, transportation, and eco.omic integration of the three regions, thus accelerating the formation of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. This paper introduces the design and co.struction of the HZMB, with a focus on the new technologies involved in building the artificial islands and immersed tunnel.

The rapid development of industry application products has greatly influenced society. It has beco.e essential for some teleco.munication co.panies to focus on customer satisfaction with industrial products used by the government and enterprise customers. Following the review of a previous study of customer satisfaction and with the help of experiential level theory,this article attempts to establish a Satisfaction Factors Model for researching customer satisfaction with industry applications. We chose a product named "Mobile Monitor" and investigated the emotional satisfaction of 127 users and co.pany leaders from different walks of life,and showed that 7 of the product's features affected the customers' overall emotional satisfaction. Lastly,this paper points out management implications of this application based on quantitative results. It presents a preliminary exploration program for customer satisfaction research in this specific field. The empirical research on a specific product based on experimental level theory may serve as a reference for other co.panies that desire to carry out similar surveys in future.

In order to establish a new method for measuring the dimensions of co.rse aggregates, five different-size flat and elongated (F&E) co.rse aggregates were glued into two specimens by epoxy resin, respectively, and slice images were obtained by X-ray CT, then the aggregates were extracted by the fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm. Attributions of the particle on different cross-sections were determined by the ‘overlap area method’. And unified three-dimensional Cartesian co.rdinate system was established based on co.tinuous slice images. The co.fficient values of spherical harmonics descriptor representing particles surface profile were gained, then each scanned particle was represented by 60×120 discrete points co.formably with spherical harmonics descriptor. The chord length and direction angles were determined by the calculation. With the major axis (L) and orthogonal axis (W and T), the calculated results were co.pared with those measured by caliper. It is co.cluded that the new L, W, and T dimension measuring method is able to take the place of the present manual measurement.
