Development of the electric automatic steering system for agricultural vehicles

Automatic guidance of agricultural vehicles requires automatic execution of operation commands received from the navigation controller by using electronically controlled mechanisms for wheel steering,speed changing and work *** steering contributes as a prerequisite technique in automatic and semi-automatic agricultural *** research aimed to develop an electric automatic steering system that was compact in its structure and integrated into original steering mechanism in a simply and convenient way for aftermarket modification.A brushless motor and reducer assembly was utilized to provide an adequate steering torque instead of manual maneuver.A rapid assembling approach was proposed by passing the steering shaft through the hollow output shaft.A digital proportional-integral-differential(PID)algorithm was implemented to calculate the rotation speeds and directions by comparing the desired angle and the actual angle,which was implemented in a printed circuit board with a microcontroller unit(MCU)and interface *** unmanned wheeled tractor was applied as test platform to integrate the newly developed electric automatic steering *** were conducted to evaluate its performance in terms of stability and *** autonomous navigation system guided the tractor along target paths in the field by sending steering commands to the electric automatic steering *** results show that the steering angle error was less than 0.81°when desired steering angle was less than 10°.The lateral error difference was no more than 4.76 cm when repeating following the same target path,which indicated that the electric automatic steering system responded accurately and robustly to steering commands.

In order to improve the screening performance and cleaning effect of the jujube harvesting machinery cleaning device,a vibrating curved screen device was designed in this *** analyzing the structure mechanism of the curved sieve body,it was obtained that the arc-shaped mesh hole spacing S was 15-25 mm and the curved mesh hole curvature U was 90°-150°.By exploring the movement state and stress of jujube and impurities on the curved sieve body,it was determined that the horizontal spacing L of the curved layer sieve was 30 mm and the vertical spacing H was 45-65 *** the vertical spacing H of the curved layer sieve,the curvature U of the curved mesh hole,and the spacing S of the curved mesh hole as the experimental factors,considering the screening efficiencyαand the impurity contentβof the jujube as the response values,the three-factor three-level quadratic regression orthogonal experiment was designed,establishing the regression mathematical model of each factor and response value,and the multiple target optimization algorithm of Design-expert software was used to optimize various *** results showed that the influence factors on the screening efficiency were in the descending order as:the arc screen spacing,the vertical spacing of the curved layer screen,and the curved screen hole curvature;The significant factors affecting the impurity content of jujube were in the descending order as:the arc screen spacing,the curved screen hole curvature,and the vertical spacing of the curved layer *** experimental results were verified by the optimized combination of parameters:when the vertical spacing H of the curved layer screen was 65 mm,the curved screen hole curvature U was 110°,and the arc screen spacing S was 23 mm,the average screening efficiencyαin the test was 91.09%.The relative error between the experimental verification value and the theoretical optimization value was 1.36%,which was less than 5%.The impurity content of jujubeβin the test w

A more resilient livelihood is increasingly recognized as an efficient way to improve vulnerable households’food security and optimize their dietary *** study quantifies rural household resilience in western china,identifies the three pillars(absorptive capacity,adaptive capacity,and transformative capacity)contribution to resilience,and then establishes the estimated Resilience Capacity Index(RCI)linked with food security and dietary diversity supported by the multiple indicator multiple cause(MIMIC)*** show that,despite geographical heterogeneity,the RCI consistently increased from 2015 to *** with a higher RCI inheriting better capacity to deal with risk and shocks are significantly and positively correlated with increasing food expenditure and diversifying food *** can be because resilient households will allocate more money to food expenditure instead of saving for livelihood ***,policymakers can provide more incentives for rural households to adopt more dynamic and effective risk management ***,in turn,could yield positive spillover effects by preventing human capital loss associated with dietary-related chronic diseases and mortality.

Free cholesterol has been considered to be a critical risk factor of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).It remains unknown whether dietary intake of condensed tannins(CTs)have distinguishable effects to alleviate liver damage caused by a high cholesterol *** C57BL/6 mice were fed a high cholesterol diet for 6 weeks,and given CTs treatment at a dosage of 200 mg/(kg·day)at the same *** results indicated that compared with mice fed a normal diet,a high cholesterol diet group resulted in significant weight loss,dysregulation of lipid metabolism in blood and liver,and oxidative stress in the liver,but CTs treatment dramatically reversed these negative *** and eosin(H&E)staining and frozen section observation manifested that CTs treatment could effectively reduce the deposition of liver cholesterol and tissue necrosis caused by high cholesterol *** alleviated liver injury mainly by regulating the expression of related genes in cholesterol metabolism pathway and AMPK *** results confirmed that CTs have remarkable cholesterol lowering and anti-liver injury effects in vivo.

Alginate oligosaccharides(AOS)enhance drought resistance in wheat(Triticum aestivum L.),but the definite mechanisms remain largely *** physiological and transcriptome responses of wheat seedlings treated with AOS were analyzed under drought stress simulated with polyethylene *** results showed that AOS promoted the growth of wheat seedlings and reduced oxidative damage by improving peroxidase and superoxide dismutase activities under drought stress.A total of 10,064 and 15,208 differentially expressed unigenes(DEGs)obtained from the AOS treatment and control samples at 24 and 72 h after dehydration,respectively,were mainly enriched in the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites(phenylpropanoid biosynthesis,flavonoid biosynthesis),carbohydrate metabolism(starch and sucrose metabolism,carbon fixation in photosynthetic organisms),lipid metabolism(fatty acid elongation,biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids,alpha-linolenic acid metabolism,cutin,suberine and wax biosynthesis),and signaling transduction *** up-regulated genes were related to,for example,chlorophyll a-b binding protein,amylosynthease,phosphotransferase,peroxidase,phenylalanine ammonia lyase,flavone synthase,glutathione *** molecules(including MAPK,plant hormones,H_(2)O_(2) and calcium)and transcription factors(mainly including NAC,MYB,MYB-related,WRKY,bZIP family members)were involved in the AOS-induced wheat drought *** results obtained in this study help underpin the mechanisms of wheat drought resistance improved by AOS,and provides a theoretical basis for the application of AOS as an environmentally sustainable biological method to improve drought resistance in agriculture.

This study was aimed to analyze the effect of procyanidin B2(PC)and tannin acid(TA)on the activities of cholesterol esterase(CEase)and the inhibitory mechanisms of enzymatic *** interaction mechanisms were investigated by enzymatic kinetics,multi-spectroscopy methods,thermodynamics analysis,molecular docking,and dynamic *** and TA could bind with CEase and inhibit the activity of enzyme in a mixed-competitive manner and non-competitive manner,which was verified by molecular docking simulations and dynamics ***,PC and TA showed the synergistic inhibition with ***,UVvis and the thermodynamic analysis revealed that the complexes were formed from CEase and inhibitors by noncovalent *** revealed by the circular dichroism results,both PC and TA decreased enzymatic activities by altering the conformations of *** inhibition of PC and TA on CEase might be one mechanism for its cholesterol-lowering effect.

Light-emitting diode(LED)irradiation can affect postharvest vegetable and fruit shelf life and nutritional *** this study,11 kinds of glucosinolates(GLS)and 6 types of GLS breakdown products were identified in cabbage *** investigate the effects of LED irradiation on quality and GLS metabolism,postharvest cabbage was irradiated with 25μmol/(m2·s)green LED(GL)light at room temperature for 12 *** dark condition and natural light were used as *** irradiation inhibited the respiration rate and the accumulation of malondialdehyde,and maintained higher cabbage sensory score,chlorophyll content,and antioxidant enzyme activities,thus extending its postharvest shelf ***,GL irradiation promoted GLS profile accumulation,including glucoraphanin,glucoiberin,gluconapin,gluconasturtiin,glucobrassicin,and sinigrin,which could have resulted from upregulated expression of the transcription factors MYB28 and MYB51,and the key genes involved in GLS biosynthesis(CYP83A1,CYP83B1,ST5b,and UGT74B1).Furthermore,GLS degradation was promoted by this treatment during the late stage of shelf life,as higher myrosinase activity and relative MYR and ESM expression levels were found in treated cabbage leaves,resulting in higher isothiocyanate(ITC)and indole-3-carbinol contents after day ***,GL irradiation was beneficial for cabbage preservation.

Impacts of agri-food e-commerce on traditional wholesale industry:Evidence from china

Rapidly expanding studies investigate the effects of e-commerce on company operations in the retail ***,the interaction between agri-food e-commerce(AEC)and the traditional agri-food wholesale industry(AWI)has not received enough attention in the existing *** on the provincial panel data from 2013 to 2020 in china,this paper examines the effect of AEC on AWI,comprising three dimensions:digitalization(DIGITAL),agrifood e-commerce infrastructure and supporting services(AECI),and agri-food e-commerce economy(AECE).First,AWI and AEC are measured using an entropy-based combination of *** results indicate that for china as a whole,AWI has remained practically unchanged,whereas AEC exhibits a significant rising ***,the findings of the fixed-effect regression reveal that DIGITAL and AECE tend to raise AWI,whereas AECI negatively affects ***,threshold regression results indicate that AECI tends to diminish AWI with three-stage inhibitory intensity,which manifests as a first increase and then a drop in the inhibition *** results suggest that with the introduction of e-commerce for agricultural product circulation,digital development will have catfish effects that tend to stimulate the vitality of the conventional wholesale industry and promote technical ***,the traditional wholesale industry benefits financially from e-commerce even while it diverts part of the traditional wholesale circulation for agricultural products.

Sanchuan ham is appreciated in Yunnan Province,china,for its characteristic flavor and taste,while the microbial community structure and biogenic amines content remain unclear during fermentation *** this study,we explored the physicochemical property,biogenic amines concentration and microbial diversity of external and internal Sanchuan ham by high-throughput sequencing during the processing of Sanchuan *** showed that the nitrite remained at a stable level of 0.15 mg/kg which was significantly lower than the national health standard safety level of 20 mg/*** addition,compared with fresh hams,the content of total free amino acids in ripe Sanchuan ham has grown 14 folds;sour and bitter were the main tastes of Sanchuan ***,the concentration of cadaverine was the highest of all biogenic amines during the entire fermentation *** the bacterial phyla level,Firmicutes and Actinobacteria were the two main phyla,while at the genus level,Staphylococcus was a significant strain throughout the whole ***,the dry stage has a great impact on the succession change of microbial community ***,the change trends and composition of bacteria in the interior have slight discrepancies with those of the exterior of Sanchuan ham.
