Identifying the types of disasters and analyzing the distribution pattern of and the spatial correlation between villages and disasters are important prerequisite for the disaster prevention and mitigation of traditional *** Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture as an example and using the tools of kernel density evaluation and spatial statistics,this paper analyzes the distribution pattern of and the spatial correlation between traditional villages and typical geological disasters on the three spatial scales of Aba Prefecture,village agglomeration area,and village administrative area with necessary *** concludes that most of the traditional villages in Aba Prefecture agglomerate in the middle-and high-level alpine gorges and some are clustered at either the border area or the central hinterland of counties;with the increase of maximum seismic intensity and frequency of earthquakes,it appears there is an increase of traditional villages and their trend of agglomeration,which implies an overlap of the areas of dense traditional villages and high-density geological disasters,as well as the synchronous increase of traditional village density and geological disaster density;and the traditional villages in Aba Prefecture are affected by multiple disasters,in particular landslide and debris ***,the paper discusses the issue of disaster prevention and mitigation in the protection and development planning of traditional villages.

Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） is one of the unique cultural treasures of Chinese; it represents a significant feature and prominent advantage of the healthcare cause in china. Data in this paper were from World Health Organization, Chinese Bureau of Statistics, china National Knowledge Infrastructure, and PubMed. In recent years, TCM has established a solid foundation in Europe, which made great strides in legislation, education, research, and international exchange, and has enjoyed a vast development space in the continent. Now, TCM is embracing unprecedented development opportunities in Europe. At the same time, the stiff international competition poses a grave threat to china＇s TCM industry. With multiple cultural, legal, and institutional challenges, as well as talent shortages in the way, TCM is now facing many difficulties in Europe. To fully prepare and enact active and vigorous steps to seize opportunities, we should have a clear picture about the serious challenges hampering TCM development in Europe. The TCM development at overseas markets has shifted from a spontaneous trade activity into a national strategy spearheaded by the government and participated in by multiple stakeholders. We should make a systematic, comprehensive, and sustainable push in fields such as TCM therapy, healthcare, education, research, culture, and industry development. The ultimate goal is to bring TCMs to the global market and allow them to play a role in safeguarding public health along with modern medicines.

In this study,a systematic survey of cultural airborne fungi was carried out in the occurrence environments of wall paintings that are preserved in the Tiantishan Grottoes and the Western Xia Museum,china.A bio-aerosol sampler was used for sampling in four seasons in ***-dependent and-independent methods were taken to acquire airborne fungal concentration and purified strains;by the extraction of genomic DNA,amplification of fungal ITS rRNA gene region,sequencing,and phylogenetic analysis,thereafter the fungal community composition and distribution characteristics of different study sites were *** disclosure the main environmental factors which may be responsible for dynamic changes of airborne fungi at the sampling *** concentration of cultural airborne fungi was in a range from 13 to 1,576 CFU/m^(3),no significant difference between the two sites at the Tiantishan Grottoes,with obvious characteristics of seasonal variation,in winter and spring were higher than in summer and ***,there was a significant difference in fungal concentration between the inside and outside of the Western Xia Museum,the outside of the museum was far more than the inside of the museum in the four seasons,particularly in the *** fungal genera were detected,including Cladosporium,Penicillium,Alternaria,and Filobasidium as the dominant *** airborne fungal community structures of the Tiantishan Grottoes show a distinct characteristic of seasonal variation and spatial *** humidity,temperature and seasonal rainfall influence airborne fungal *** of the isolated strains have the potential to cause biodeterioration of ancient wall *** study provides supporting information for the pre-warning conservation of cultural relics that are preserved at local sites and inside museums.

In the cross-cultural context,as artistic and cultural phenomena between the East and the West,the palace art in the mid-Qing Dynasty and the French“Rococo”art is bound to be influenced by the social history,artistic and cultural environment in which they *** a parallel comparison of the aesthetics of court art in the mid-Qing Dynasty and French Rococo art,it is found that there are similarities in the social and cultural environments and the aesthetic tastes of the aesthetic subject at that time,and there are differences in the presentation of the function of art culture and the aesthetic style of the aesthetic *** the same time,there is a phenomenon of the east-west integration of“western law for use”and“eastern elements”.

Sandstone is affected by sedimentary environment, weathering depth, stratum level, etc., and there are big differences between the prepared sandstone samples and original parallel samples. In order to explore the effect of sample density, surface roughness, parallelism and diameter error along the height on the mechanical properties of sandstone, uniaxial compression tests were carried out on the samples in different density group, height-diameter ratio group (L/D = 2.0, 1.8, 1.0), cross-sectional shape group and compression direction group, respectively. Through the statistical analysis and test results of 18 samples in 6 groups, it was found that the unconfined compressive strength of the samples is significantly affected by surface roughness, density, parallelism, diameter deviation and other indicators, and shows a decreasing trend successively, the maximum error of compressive strength value is up to 37.16%. There are no specific requirements on the surface roughness in existing standards, a control threshold with strong practicality for reducing errors was proposed based on the influence degree of surface roughness, density, parallelism, and diameter deviation. The proposed threshold could effectively improve the test reliability of sandstone samples and provide technical support for evaluating sandstone samples. © 2020, Science Press. All right reserved.

china's overseas industrial parks contribute to political and economic cooperation, cultural exchange between home and host countries. Current studies mainly discuss the effect of overseas industrial parks from the perspective of institutional and cultural difference, multi-scale coupling, as well as key partnerships, while little attention has been paid to the comprehensive analysis of overseas industrial parks. Based on a theoretical framework, this paper explores the overall effect of china's overseas industrial parks from the geo-effects perspective by using field interviews and a case study approach. The research shows that:(1) the geo-effects reveal the over effect of overseas industrial parks from the multiple and complementary dimensions of geopolitics, geo-economics, geo-society and geo-culture;(2) the Cambodia Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, as a flagship BRI project, has produced the prominent and positive geo-effects;(3) the institutional-economic-cultural-environmental adaptability of overseas industrial parks is becoming important. overseas industrial parks must be rooted in the politics, economy, society, and culture of host country;embedded in local social networks;balance the rights and interests of all stakeholders;and form the community of interests, community of destiny, and community of responsibility with political mutual trust, economic integration, cultural inclusiveness, and social harmony. The paper not only deepens the understanding about the overall effect of overseas industrial parks, but also provides decision support and theoretical reference for government policy makers and the overseas investment of enterprises.

Strength prediction model for water-bearing sandstone based on nearinfrared spectroscopy

The strength of water-bearing rock cannot be obtained in real time and by nondestructive experiments,which is an issue at cultural relics protection sites such as grotto *** solve this problem,we conducted a near-infrared spectrum acquisition experiment in the field and laboratory uniaxial compression strength tests on sandstone that had different water saturation *** correlations between the peak height and peak area of the nearinfrared absorption bands of the water-bearing sandstone and uniaxial compressive strength were *** this basis,a strength prediction model for water-bearing sandstone was established using the long short-term memory full convolutional network(LSTM-FCN)***,a field engineering test was carried *** results showed that:(1)The sandstone samples had four distinct characteristic absorption peaks at 1400,1900,2200,and 2325 *** peak height and peak area of the absorption bands near 1400 nm and 1900 nm had a negative correlation with uniaxial compressive *** peak height and peak area of the absorption bands near 2200 nm and 2325 nm had nonlinear positive correlations with uniaxial compressive strength.(2)The LSTM-FCN method was used to establish a strength prediction model for water-bearing sandstone based on near-infrared spectroscopy,and the model achieved an accuracy of up to 97.52%.(3)The prediction model was used to realize non-destructive,quantitative,and real-time determination of uniaxial compressive strength;this represents a new method for the non-destructive testing of grotto rock mass at sites of cultural relics protection.

Evolutionary processes in hominoid primates were closely related to global and/or regional environmental changes, and therefore palaeoenvironmental reconstruction is fundamental for understanding how environmental changes shaped their evolution. Here, we present pollen data from the 16-m-thick Shuitangba(STB) section,Yunnan Province, southwestern china, bearing remains of the hominoid Lufengpithecus lufengensis of the terminal Miocene;and use principal component analysis to reconstruct the palaeovegetation and palaeoclimate during the key period when the hominoid lived. Our results show that before the STB hominoid appeared(Zone A), the vegetation was dominated by subtropical evergreen broad-leaved taxa with a few temperate deciduous taxa(e.g., Quercus, Castanea/Castanopsis, Alnus). The development of aquatic plants commencing at the 12 m depth is a prominent feature, indicating a warm and humid climate. During the time when the hominoid lived(Zone B), evergreen broad-leaved forests with evergreen Quercus were predominant, while grasses including Poaceae began to expand, and simultaneously conifers decreased, indicating a warm climate. The significant presence of aquatic pollen taxa in subzone A-2 and Zone B suggests the occurrence of lacustrine or swampy environments. In contrast, in Zone C, the vegetation changed to coniferous forest, indicating cooler and drier conditions. These results provide substantive evidence of the vegetation conditions when the hominoid lived,suggesting that the greater diversity of vegetation and the warm humid climate, compared to the present day,would have favoured its survival.

Historical data regarding Zhang Heng's seismoscope is not singular proof. Actually,the four earliest historical documents,i. e.,Continuation of Historiography of Han Dynasty, Historiography of the Later Han,Book of the Later Han and Ding Record all have relevant records of its structure,size,principle,response to earthquake and actual applications. These five aspects are supported by archaeological research,unearthed cultural relics, historical earthquakes and modern seismological study. These historical materials contain a great deal of specific information about this ancient seismoscope. In conclusion, the authenticity and reliability of Zhang Heng's seismoscope are verified.
