The use of three-dimensional self-assembled metallacages(MCgs)as multimodal drug platforms holds great ***,the synthesis of MCgs with increased complexity and functionality is a great challenge since understanding of the interaction of MCgs with biological targets is still *** this context,this work reports on the integration of a gold(III)porphyrin scaffold into a prismatic MCg structure and explores its application for multimodal therapy of cancer in vitro,namely enabling both photodynamic therapy and *** experimental approaches with a state-of-the-art metadynamics theoretical study,we discovered that the gold cage shows unprecedented host-guest interaction-driven selective stabilization of guanine-quadruplex(G4)structures-validated anticancer drug targets-disclosing a new mechanism to pursue in the design of supramolecular drugs.

Objective: To isolate bioactive compounds from the endophytic fungus Fusarium sporotrichioides isolated from Rauwolfia yunnanensis, and investigate their pharmacological ***: The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by combining with ODS column chromatography, silica gel column chromatography and by performing semipreparative HPLC. Their structures were established on the basis of 1D NMR(1H-NMR and13C-NMR) and 2D NMR(1H–1H COSY,HSQC, HMBC and NOESY), as well as HRESIMS and comparison with literature data. In addition, the absolute configuration of compound 1 was determined by calculated ECD ***: One previously undescribed tetracyclic triterpenoid derivative, named as integracide L(1), 12aacetoxy-4,4-dimethyl-24-methylene-5a-cholesta-8,14-diene-2a,3β,11β-triol(2), 12a-acetoxy-4,4-dime thyl-24-methylene-5a-cholesta-8-momoene-2a,3β,11β-triol(3), 12a-acetoxy-4,4-dimethyl-24-methy lene-5a-cholesta-8,14-diene-3β,11β-triol(4), and 12a-acetoxy-4,4-dimethyl-24-methylene-5acholesta-8-momoene-3β,11β-triol(5) were isolated from F. sporotrichioide. Moreover, compound 1 was rare tetracyclic triterpenoid with single methyl replacement at C-4 ***: compound 1 was a new tetracyclic triterpenoid isolated from the endophytic fungus ***. In addition, compound 2 could inhibit the growth of three different human cancer cells significantly. compounds 3 and 5 were found to possess better cytotoxic activities on Hep G-2 cells than the other compounds, with IC50values of(2.8 ± 0.1) and(6.3 ± 0.3) μmol/L respectively.

Spirooxindole is a compound with a unique framework and broad bioactivities in *** this study,we have reviewed various approaches or methods in synthesizing spirooxindole derivatives focused on green *** of spirooxindoles is mainly carried out through multicomponent reactions combined with various green approaches such as the use of heterogeneous catalysts(nano-sized,magnetic,metal-complex,and metal-organic framework catalysts),deep eutectic solvent,solvent-free reactions,catalyst-free reactions,as well as the use of ultrasonic and microwaves *** green method is carried out in addition to obtaining high yields,it also offers reductions in the use of hazardous chemicals,energy use,purification processes,and waste *** a result,green synthesis methods in the synthesis of spirooxindole derivatives are more environmentally friendly.

A detailed and accurate inventory map of landslides is crucial for quantitative hazard assessment and land *** methods relying on change detection and object-oriented approaches have been criticized for their dependence on expert knowledge and subjective *** advancements in highresolution satellite imagery,coupled with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,particularly datadriven deep learning algorithms(DL)such as convolutional neural networks(CNN),have provided rich feature indicators for landslide mapping,overcoming previous *** this review paper,77representative DL-based landslide detection methods applied in various environments over the past seven years were *** study analyzed the structures of different DL networks,discussed five main application scenarios,and assessed both the advancements and limitations of DL in geological hazard *** results indicated that the increasing number of articles per year reflects growing interest in landslide mapping by artificial intelligence,with U-Net-based structures gaining prominence due to their flexibility in feature extraction and ***,we explored the hindrances of DL in landslide hazard research based on the above research *** such as black-box operations and sample dependence persist,warranting further theoretical research and future application of DL in landslide detection.

Complete and comprehensive information about sediment dynamic and identification of hotspots of sediment production and transport are necessary for understanding the erosion processes and increasing the efficiency of soil and water conservation *** studies used the sediment fingerprint techniques to investigate the contribution of different sources in suspended and bed sediment yield of the ***,the contribution of various land use/land covers in suspended and bed sediment yield for the great Caspian Sea basin is in an aura of ambiguity and the present study was conducted to gather information about an important part of this area in northern Iran,where rangelands are located upstream of Hyrcanian forests and dense agricultural lands are located *** surface soil of different land use/land covers including forest,rangeland,agriculture and streambank lands were sampled in 30 *** and bed sediments were sampled in the watershed outlet in two high and low water *** characteristics of soil and sediment samples containing 59 elements were measured using ICP-OES GBC *** reliable and suitable tracers from 59 elements were then selected using Range test,Kruskal-Wallis and Discriminant Function Analysis,respectively,in FingerPro package of R *** results showed that for suspended sediment,streambank and rangeland had the highest contributions of 86.2%and 47.5%,respectively,in two high and low water *** bed sediment,in two high and low water periods,rangeland and streambank had the highest contributions of 73.8%and 84.4%,*** use change and especially human activities such as agriculture,road construction and development of residential areas along the main river riparian zone has led to a significant increase in suspended and bed sediments.

Selective adsorption of paraffins over olefins（mostly C2 and C3） by porous solids could offer tremendous advantages for the purification of olefins, which is, however, challenging as it has stringent requirements on the pore dimensions and pore surface chemistry of the adsorbent. We report here a metal-organic framework（MOF） with novel topology, Y3（μ3-OH）(TCMPB)2(denoted as HIAM-316, TCMPB4-= 1,2,4,5-tetra（4-carboxy-3-methylphenyl）benzene), which shows reversed separation of C2H6/C2H4and C3H8/C3H6simultaneously. The ideal adsorbed solution theory（IAST） selectivities for equimolar binary mixtures of C2H6/C2H4and C3H8/C3H6were calculated to be 1.67 and 1.23 at 1 bar and 298 K for HIAM-316. Its capability of removing paraffines from paraffin/olefin mixtures is validated by breakthrough measurements. Molecular simulations reveal that the preferential adsorption of paraffins over olefins by HIAM-316 may be attributed to the abundant carboxylate oxygen atoms along its channel.

Long-wavelength(>500 km)magnetic anomalies originating in the lithosphere were first found in satellite magnetic *** to the striking magnetic anomalies around the world,the long-wavelength magnetic anomalies in China and surrounding regions are relatively *** research on each of these anomalies has been quite inadequate;their geological origins remain unclear,in particular their connection to tectonic activity in the Chinese and surrounding *** focus on six magnetic high anomalies over the(1)Tarim Basin,(2)Sichuan Basin(3)Great Xing’an Range,(4)Barmer Basin,(5)Central Myanmar Basin,and(6)Sunda and Banda Arcs,and a striking magnetic low anomaly along the southern part of the Himalayan-Tibetan *** have analyzed their geological origins by reviewing related research and by detailed comparison with geological *** tectonic backgrounds for these anomalies belong to two cases:either ancient basin basement,or subduction-collision ***,the geological origins of large-scale regional magnetic anomalies are always subject to dispute,mainly because of limited surface exposure of sources,later tectonic destruction,and superposition of multi-phase events.

Curcumin is a natural polyphenol that is used in various traditional ***,its inherent properties,such as its rapid degradation and metabolism,low bioavailability,and short half-life,are serious problems that must be *** this end,a drug carrier incorporating natural magnetic cores in a zeolite framework was developed and applied to the loading of curcumin in ethanol *** this system,curcumin is encapsulated in a zeolite Na(ZNA)magnetic core–shell structure(Fe@Si/ZNA),which can be easily synthesized using an in situ *** of Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles was carried out from natural materials using a co-precipitation *** of the prepared magnetic core–shell structures and composites was carried out using vibrating-sample magnetometery,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and x-ray *** cumulative loading of curcumin in the ZNA composite with 9%nanoparticles was found to reach 90.70%with a relatively long half-life of 32.49 *** tests of curcumin loading in the composite showed that adding magnetic particles to the zeolite framework also increased the stability of the composite *** kinetics and isotherm studies also found that the system follows the pseudo-second-order and Langmuir isotherm models.

The electrocatalytic oxidation of biomass-derived furfural(FF)feedstocks into 2-furoic acid(FA)holds immense industrial potential in optics,cosmetics,polymers,and ***,we fabricated Co O/Ni O/nickel foam(NF)and Cu_(2)O/Ni O/NF electrodes via in situ pulsed laser irradiation in liquids(PLIL)for the bifunctional electrocatalysis of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and furfural oxidation reaction(FOR),*** oxidation of NF surface to NiO and deposition of CoO and/or Cu_(2)O on NF during PLIL offer distinct advantages for enhancing both the OER and ***/NiO/NF electrocatalyst provides a consistently low overpotential of~359 m V(OER)at 10 m A/cm^(2),achieving the maximum FA yield(~16.37 m M)with 61.5%selectivity,79.5%carbon balance,and a remarkable Faradaic efficiency of~90.1%during 2 h of FOR at 1.43 V(*** hydrogen electrode).Mechanistic pathway via in situ electrochemical-Raman spectroscopy on CoO/NiO/NF reveals the involvement of phase transition intermediates(NiOOH and CoOOH)as surface-active centers during electrochemical *** carbonyl carbon in FF is attacked by hydroxyl groups to form unstable hydrates that subsequently undergo further oxidation to yield FA *** method holds promise for large-scale applications,enabling simultaneous production of renewable building materials and fuel.

Tocotrienols are found in a variety of natural sources,like rice bran,annatto seeds and palm oil,and have been shown to have several health-promoting properties,particularly against chronic diseases such as *** incidence of cancer is rapidly increasing around the world,not only a result of continued aging and population growth,but also due to the adoption of aspects of the Western lifestyle,such as high-fat diets and low-physical *** literature provides strong evidence that tocotrienols are able to inhibit the growth of various cancers,including breast,lung,ovarian,prostate,liver,brain,colon,myeloma and pancreatic *** findings,along with the reported safety profile of tocotrienols in healthy human volunteers,encourage further research into these compounds’potential use in cancer prevention and *** current review provided detailed information about the molecular mechanisms of action of different tocotrienol isoforms in various cancer models and evaluated the potential therapeutic effects of different vitamin E analogues on important cancer hallmarks,such as cellular proliferation,apoptosis,angiogenesis and ***/PubMed and Scopus databases were used to identify recently published articles that investigated the anticancer effects of vitamin E derivatives in various types of cancer in vitro and in vivo along with clinical evidence of adjuvant chemopreventive *** an overview of pre-clinical studies,we describe several completed and ongoing clinical trials that are paving the way for the successful implementation of tocotrienols in cancer chemotherapy.
