In designing efficient perovskite solar cells（PSCs）,the selection of suitable electron transport layers（ETLs） is critical to the final device performance as they determine the driving force for selective charge ***2nanoparticles（NPs） based ETLs have been a popular choice for PSCs due to superior electron mobility,but their relatively deep-lying conduction band energy levels(ECB) result in substantial potential ***,TiO2NPs establish favorable band alignment owing to shallower ECB,but their low intrinsic mobility and abundant surface trap sites impede the final *** this reason,constructing a cascaded bilayer ETL is highly desirable for efficient PSCs,as it can rearrange energy levels and exploit on advantages of an individual *** this study,we prepare SnO2NPs and acetylacetone-modified TiO2（Acac-TiO2） NPs and implement them as bilayer SnO2/Acac-TiO2（BST） ETL,to assemble cascaded energy band ***2contributes to rapid charge carrier transport from high electron mobility while Acac-TiO2minimizes band-offset and effectively suppresses interfacial ***,the optimized BST ETL generates synergistic influence and delivers power conversion efficiency（PCE） as high as 23.14% with open-circuit voltage(VOC) reaching 1.14 ***,the BST ETL is transferred to a large scale and the corresponding mini module demonstrates peak performance of 18.39% PCE from 25 cm2aperture ***,the BST-based mini module exhibit excellent stability,maintaining83.1% of its initial efficiency after 1000 h under simultaneous 1 Sun lightsoaking and damp heat（85℃/RH 85%） environment.

Electrocatalytic oxygen reduction(ORR)via the 2e−pathway to form H_(2)O_(2) in acidic medium has attracted extensive ***,the low activity,insufficient selectivity and high cost of catalysts have been the ***,CoSe_(2) with abundant Se deficiency was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method,and the addition of NaBH4-induced CoSe_(2) phase transition from orthorhombic to cubic phase with more Se *** cubic phase CoSe_(2) with abundant Se deficiency can effectively regulate the surface electronic structure with suitable binding energies of*OOH and*O,which shows high activity,selectivity and long-term stability for acidic ORR to H_(2)O_(2).The onset potential is as low as 0.73 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),the H_(2)O_(2) selectivity is 84%(0 V ***),and the average electron transfer number is about ***,the H_(2)O_(2) yield measured using a flow cell is as high as 115.92 mmol·gcat.^(−1)·h^(−1) and the Faradaic efficiency is 70%at 0 V ***,which presents high potential in electrocatalytic acidic ORR to H_(2)O_(2) and organic pollutant degradation using the electron-Fenton process.

Unveiling the role of weak non-covalent forces in chiral self-assembly is pivotal in the design and fabrication of functional chiroptical materials. The nature of arene-perfluoroarene（AP） force is the electrostatic attraction between π-hole and π planes of perfluoroarenes and polyaromatic hydrocarbons（PAHs）, which is emerging in constructing supramolecular motifs and coassembled optical devices. In this work, we reveal the potential of AP forces in building diversified levels of chiral coassemblies adaptive to the geometries of PAHs. The naphthalene-F8was covalently conjugated with a chiral amine, which folded into a semi-rectangular geometry via two intramolecular F···H bonds. PAHs of naphthalene, anthracene, pyrene, carbazole, perylene and benzoperylene were introduced to afford coassemblies in the crystalline state. X-ray structures suggest the formation of supramolecular boxes that encapsulate the PAHs with a 2:1 stoichiometric ratio, as well as the formation of consecutive layered ladders with a 1:1 stoichiometric ratio. The preference is adaptive to the geometries of PAHs, and experimental and computational results evidenced the ladder structures possess strong binding affinity. On this top, the selective chiral recognition in the mixtures of PAHs was realized, which shows promising applications in the separation of PAHs and rational design of crystalline chiroptical materials.

Discrete element method(DEM)is an effective approach for studying the screening process of flip-flow ***,there have been few studies focusing on the thick layer of sticky-wet particles on flip-flow *** achieve accurate simulations of the thick layer of sticky-wet particles on a flip-flow screen,firstly,the movement law of particle flow was studied,and a multi-regime combination cali-bration method based on characteristics of particle flow regimes was *** on the Plackett-Burman experiment,the curse of dimensionality caused by multi-state and multi-contact parameters was ***,the lifting cylinder,rotating drum,and trampoline tests were carried out to obtain macroscopic reference values under various granular flow *** calibration results were then determined using the response surface method and climbing ***,the calibration results were tested at both macroscopic and mesoscopic scales and compared with a commonly used calibration *** results demonstrate that the calibration method,which considers the multi-state characteristics,improves simulation accuracy by 2%-10%and reduces the simulation error to less than 10%,thus meeting the requirements for engineering optimization of flip-flow screens.

Controllable fabrication of FeCoS_(4) nanoparticles/S-doped bowl-shaped hollow carbon as efficient lithium storage anode

To address the low conductivity and easy agglomeration of transition metal sulfide nanoparticles,FeCoS_(4) nanoparticles embedded in S-doped hollow carbon(FeCoS_(4)@S-HC)composites were successfully fabricated through a combination of hydrothermal processes and sulfidation *** unique bowlshaped FeCoS_(4)/S-HC composites exhibit excellent structural stability with a high specific surface area of 303.7 m^(2)·g^(-1) and a pore volume of 0.93 cm^(3)·g^(-1).When applied as anode material for lithium-ion batteries,the FeCoS_(4)@S-HC anode exhibits efficient lithium storage with high reversible specific capacity(970.2 mA·h·g^(-1) at 100 mA·g^(-1))and enhanced cycling stability(574 mA·h·g^(-1) at 0.2 A·g^(-1) after 350 cycles,a capacity retention of 84%).The excellent lithium storage is attributed to the fact that the bimetallic FeCoS_(4) nanoparticles with abundant active sites can accelerate the electrochemical reaction kinetics,and the bowl-shaped S-HC structure can provide a stable mechanical structure to suppress volume expansion.

This survey paper provides a review and perspective on intermediate and advanced reinforcement learning(RL)techniques in process industries. It offers a holistic approach by covering all levels of the process control hierarchy. The survey paper presents a comprehensive overview of RL algorithms,including fundamental concepts like Markov decision processes and different approaches to RL, such as value-based, policy-based, and actor-critic methods, while also discussing the relationship between classical control and RL. It further reviews the wide-ranging applications of RL in process industries, such as soft sensors, low-level control, high-level control, distributed process control, fault detection and fault tolerant control, optimization,planning, scheduling, and supply chain. The survey paper discusses the limitations and advantages, trends and new applications, and opportunities and future prospects for RL in process industries. Moreover, it highlights the need for a holistic approach in complex systems due to the growing importance of digitalization in the process industries.

CeO_(2)-based catalysts are widely investigated for selective catalytic reduction(SCR)of NO with *** of NO/O_(2) with CeO_(2) generally produces two surface species,i.e.,nitrates and ***,the explicit quantification of these two species is still ***,we reported that spectrophotometry characterization was effective in determining surface adsorbed NOx species on CeO_(2) by measuring the corresponding ions(NO_(2)-and NO_(3)^(-))dissolved in aqueous *** results show that both nitrate(-NO_(3))and nitrite(-NO_(2))species can be quantitatively evaluated and the accuracy is verified by calibrating with NOx-TPD *** transfer of adsorbed NOx from catalyst surface to aqueous solution is confirmed and the dissolution process can be accelerated by ultrasonic ***,useful information related to evolution of surface NOx species under various conditions(O_(2) treatment,different adsorption temperature and duration)and over different catalysts(Fe_(2)O_(3),MnO_(2) and MnOx—CeO_(2))are *** result of present study demonstrates the potential of spectrophotometry for quantitative discrimination of surface NOx species on CeO_(2) and other oxide-based materials,which is conducive to mechanism analysis of SCR reaction.

Biocatalytic enhancement of laccase immobilized on ZnFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles and its application for degradation of textile dyes

Efficient and convenient treatment of industrial dyeing wastewater is of great significance to guarantee human and animal *** work presented the enhanced catalytic activity at pH 3.0 of laccase immobilized on amino-functionalized ZnFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles(ZnFe_(2)O_(4)-laccase)and its application for the degradation of textile *** to the existence of a large number of oxygen vacancies on the surface of the ZnFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles,negative ions accumulated on the magnetic carriers,which resulted in a harsh optimal pH value of the ZnFe_(2)O_(4)-*** activity assays revealed that the ZnFe_(2)O_(4)-laccase possessed superior pH and thermal stabilities,excellent reusability,and noticeable organic solvent ***,the ZnFe_(2)O_(4) laccase presented efficient and sustainable degradation of high concentrations of textile *** initial decoloration efficiencies of malachite green(MG),brilliant green(BG),azophloxine,crystal violet(CV),reactive blue 19(RB19),and procion red MX-5B were approximately 99.1%,95.0%,93.3%,87.4%,86.1%,and 85.3%,*** 10 consecutive reuses,the degradation rates of the textile dyes still maintained about 98.2%,92.5%,83.2%,81.5%,79.8%and 65.9%,*** excellent dye degradation properties indicate that the ZnFe_(2)O_(4)-laccase has a technical application in high concentrations of dyestuff treatment.

Sodium-ion batteries(NIBs)have emerged as a promising alternative to commercial lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to the similar properties of the Li and Na elements as well as the abundance and accessibility of Na *** of the current research has been focused on the half-cell system(using Na metal as the counter electrode)to evaluate the performance of the cathode/anode/*** relationship between the performance achieved in half cells and that obtained in full cells,however,has been neglected in much of this ***,the trade-off in the relationship between electrochemical performance and cost needs to be given more ***,systematic and comprehensive insights into the research status and key issues for the full-cell system need to be gained to advance its ***,this review evaluates the recent progress based on various cathodes and highlights the most significant challenges for full *** strategies have also been proposed to enhance the electrochemical performance of NIBs,including designing electrode materials,optimizing electrolytes,sodium compensation,and so ***,perspectives and outlooks are provided to guide future research on sodium-ion full cells.
