LncRNA GTL2 regulates myoblast proliferation and differentiation via the PKA-CREB pathway in Duolang sheep

Long non-co.ing RNAs(lncRNAs),which are RNA molecules longer than 200 nucleotides that do not enco.e proteins,are implicated in a variety of biological processes,including growth and *** research into the role of lnc RNAs in skeletal muscle development,the regulatory mechanisms governing ovine skeletal muscle development remain *** this study,we analyzed the expression profiles of lnc RNAs in skeletal muscle from 90-day-old embryos(F90),1-month-old lambs(L30),and 3-year-old adult sheep(A3Y) using RNA *** total,4738 lnc RNAs were identified,including 997 that were differentially ***-time series expression miner analysis identified eight significant expression profiles and a subset of lnc RNAs potentially involved in muscle *** Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analysis revealed that the predicted target genes of these lnc RNAs were primarily enriched in pathways associated with muscle development,such as the c AMP and Wnt signaling ***,the expression of lnc RNA GTL2 was found to decrease during muscle ***,GTL2 was highly expressed during the differentiation of skeletal muscle satellite cells(SCs) and was shown to modulate ovine myogenesis by affecting the phosphorylation levels of PKA and ***,GTL2 was found to regulate both the proliferation and differentiation of SCs via the PKACREB signaling ***,this study provides a valuable resource and offers novel insights into the functional roles and regulatory mechanisms of lnc RNAs in ovine skeletal muscle growth and development.

Dr. Schmid was a former dean of the University of California, San Francisco.School of Medicine and a liver specialist whose early studies of porphyrins led to several significant fundamental disco.eries. He was the first to demonstrate that there were different forms of porphyria. He also developed the first experimental model for hepatic porphyria, a model that for many years was used for most of the work in this field and cited in hundreds of papers. His co.tributions were reco.nized when he was awarded the 1990 Friedenwald Medal by the American Gastroenterological Association, its most co.eted award for lifetime achievement.

The mechanism by which hyperbaric oxygen treatment alleviates spinal co.d injury: genome-wide transcriptome analysis

Accumulating studies have demonstrated that hyperbaric oxygen(HBO)treatment alleviates spinal co.d injury(SCI).However,the underlying mechanism by which HBO alleviates SCI remains to be *** this study,we performed genome-wide transcriptional profiling of the spinal co.d between SCI mice and mice that received HBO treatment by high-throughput RNA sequencing at 1 week after *** also co.pared genome-wide transcriptional profiles from SCI mice and sham-operated *** found 76 differentially co.expressed genes in sham-operated mice,SCI mice,and HBO-treated SCI *** Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analysis,we identified the biological characteristics of these differentially expressed genes from the perspectives of cell co.ponent,biological process,and molecular *** also found enriched functional pathways including ferroptosis,calcium signaling pathway,serotonergic synapse,hypoxia-inducible factor-1 signaling pathway,cholinergic synapse,and neuroactive ligand-receptor *** performed quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and validated that HBO treatment decreased the expression of Hspb1(heat shock protein beta 1),Hmox1(heme oxygenase 1),Ftl1(ferritin light polypeptide 1),Tnc(tenascin C)and Igfbp3(insulin-like growth factor binding protein 3)and increased the expression of Slc5a7(solute carrier family 5 choline transporter member 7)after *** results revealed the genome-wide transcriptional profile of the injured spinal co.d after HBO *** findings co.tribute to a better understanding of the mechanism by which HBO treats SCI and may provide new targets for SCI intervention.

Expanded models of the project portfolio selection problem with learning effect

This research develops two new models for project portfolio selection, in which the candidate projects are co.posed of multiple repetitive units. To reflect some real situations, the learning effect is co.sidered in the project portfolio selection problem for the first time. The mathematical representations of the relationship between learning experience and investment co.t are provided. One numerical example under different scenarios is demonstrated and the impact of co.sidering learning effect is then discussed.
