For space-based gravitational wave （GW） detection,the main noise source for massive black hole binaries （MBHBs） is attributed to approximately 10～7double white dwarf binaries in the *** a GW source,the amplitude of the detector response,recorded by a space-based gravitational wave detector,exhibits a modulation effect with a year period when observing the source from various orbital *** the adverse conditions mentioned above,where there is a strong foreground noise and annual modulation in the signals,we employed the wavelet transform and the strong-amplitude relevant orbital position search methods,which allows the weak MBHB sources to achieve higher locating *** detail,for two MBHB sources of lower intensity,the precision of luminosity distance,represented by the ratio ?DL/DLat the 95%confidence level,is enhanced by factors of ～*** angular resolutions,denoted by??s,are enhanced by a factor of ～*** improvements increase the number of detectable GW sources,facilitate multi-messenger follow-up observations and provide constraints on the cosmological constant.

High-sensitivity measurements for mapping coronal magnetic field have become possible since the recent development of infrared detection techniques. One urgent task that arises from the routine infrared observations is to interpret what the Stokes signals could indicate for coronal magnetic fields. It is the first time for us to successfully reveal the coronal field structure above a simple and stable sunspot on the photosphere using profiles of full Stokes parameters. In this paper, the author further points out the deficiency in any conclusions/judgements just based on incomplete polarization data. A magnetic flux reversal feature, observed from circular polarization data, may correspond to one or more coronal tubes with their front or farside arching apex there, more complicated than people imagined before. To exactly locate the infrared radiation sources, we need both circular and linear polarization data for an integrated analysis of them.

Durations of gamma-ray bursts(GRB's)are featured by>2s subset and<2s one,with initial corresponding energy ratio being 20:*** is found that supernova remants(SNR's)turnover frequencies peak at 100 and 500 *** assuming that GRB's originate from hypernova and making an analysis on the evolution of GRB's,we find that the initial energy of two GRB subsets leads to a different radio-frequency turnover of their remnant spectra,which accords positively with the turnover-frequency ratio of SNR's.

The evolutionary scenario of neutron star binaries is still an essential enigma in both stellar astrophysics and high energy *** order to explore the scenario,we include the accumulation of data on the orbits and spins of compact binaries in multi-wavelength ranging from radio to X-ray,such as radio pulsar binaries,HMXBs,and LMXBs,filling them into the so called "Corbet Diagram" which initially investigated the period of orbit(Porb)～the period of spin(Pspin) correlation of *** find that the evolutionary scenario comes more clearly and makes strong confirmation of the connection between LMXBs and radio pulsar binaries,predicted by the recycle ***,the origins of radio pulsar binaries sre still *** Induced Collapse(AIP) process may be a mechanism which can explain the origin of the binary millisecond pulsars with relatively longer orbital periods.A correlation of P1/3orb～P-1spin of LMXBs and radio pulsar binaries may exist.

This study investigates the relativistic neutrino emissivity of the nucleonic and hyperonic direct Urca processes in the degenerate baryon matter of neutron stars, within the framework of relativistic mean field theory. In particular, we study the influence of the isovector scalar interaction on the nucleonic and hyperonic direct Urca processes by exchanging δ mesons. The results indicate that δ mesons lead to obvious enhancement of the total neutrino emissivity, which must result in a more rapid cooling rate of neutron star matter.

The truncated isothermal sphere (TIS) model has been recently suggested as an alternative for virialized dark halos (Shapiro et al. 1999). Both its profound theoretical motivation and its successful explanations for the galactic rotation curves and the gravitational scaling laws of clusters indicate that the TIS model is a promising candidate among other prevailing models such as the NFW profile and the Burkert profile. This promotes us to re-examine the universality of the TIS model on cluster scales from a different angle. Using an ensemble of X-ray surface brightness profiles of 45 clusters, we test the goodness of fit of the TIS predicted gas distributions to the X-ray data under the assumption of isothermal, hydrostatic equilibrium. Unlike the conventional B model or the NFW/Burkert profile, for which about half of the clusters have the reduced X2 values smaller than 2, the TIS model fails in the fitting of the X-ray surface brightness profiles of clusters in the sense that 38 out of the 45 clusters show X2 > 2. This may constitute a challenge for the universality of the TIS model unless the present analysis is seriously contaminated by other uncertainties including the negligence of non-gravitational heating processes and the unconventional sampling of the X-ray data.

Annual modulations in timescales of intraday variability (IDV hereafter) are discussed for six extragalactic sources: 0716+714, 0917+624, 0954+65, 1749+70, 1803+78 and 2007+77. The timescales calculated from scintillation theory are compared with the observational data . It is emphasized that systematic observations are required to identify the phenomenon and to determine the motion of the interstellar medium with respect to the Local Standard of Rest. In addition, significant deviations from the annual modulation could be due to intrinsic variations.

We have performed CCD(charge coupled device)imaging toward the region near Haro 4-255 with a narrow band[SⅡ]filter and an intermediate band[BATC10]filter(BATC:the“Beijing-Arizona-Taiwan-Connecticut”multi-color sky survey project)and have discovered two Herbig-Haro(HH)objects,HH469 and *** are identified to be driven by the Haro 4-255(far-infrared)source and the T Tauri star Haro 4-255,respectively.

This note introduces the performance and observation summary of the SLR system at Changcun observatory, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The performance of the SLR system has been greatly improved since August 1997. The single shot precision is improved from 5-7 cm to 1-2 cm and the normal point precision reaches 4-7 mm. The long-term stability is better than 1 cm. The amount of observation has been increased from 1000 to over 3000 passes. The whole performance of Changcun SLR system has reached the advanced level among the worldwide SLR stations.
