A method to interpret fracture aperture of rock slope using adaptive shape and unmanned aerial vehicle multi-angle nap-of-the-object photogrammetry

The aperture of natural rock fractures significantly affects the deformation and strength properties of rock masses,as well as the hydrodynamic properties of fractured rock *** conventional measurement methods are inadequate for collecting data on high-steep rock slopes in complex mountainous *** study establishes a high-resolution three-dimensional model of a rock slope using unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)multi-angle nap-of-the-object photogrammetry to obtain edge feature points of *** opening morphology is characterized using coordinate projection and *** central axis is determined using vertical measuring lines,allowing for the interpretation of aperture of adaptive fracture *** feasibility and reliability of the new method are verified at a construction site of a railway in southeast Tibet,*** study shows that the fracture aperture has a significant interval effect and size *** optimal sampling length for fractures is approximately 0.5e1 m,and the optimal aperture interpretation results can be achieved when the measuring line spacing is 1%of the sampling *** fractures in the study area generally have larger apertures than shear fractures,and their tendency to increase with slope height is also greater than that of shear *** aperture of tensile fractures is generally positively correlated with their trace length,while the correlation between the aperture of shear fractures and their trace length appears to be *** of different orientations exhibit certain differences in their distribution of aperture,but generally follow the forms of normal,log-normal,and gamma *** study provides essential data support for rock and slope stability evaluation,which is of significant practical importance.

Effects of urbanization and forest type on species composition and diversity,forest characteristics,biomass carbon sink,and their associations in changchun,Northeast China:implications for urban carbon stock improvement

Differences in forest attributes and carbon sequestration of each organ and layer between broadleaved and conifer forests of central and outer urban areas are not well-defined,hindering the precise management of urban forests and improvement of *** clarify the effect of two forest types with different urbanization intensities,we determined differences in vegetation composition and diversity,structural traits,and carbon stocks of 152 plots(20 m×20 m)in urban park forests in changchun,which had the largest green quantity and carbon density *** found that 1.1-fold thicker and healthier trees,and 1.6-to 2.0-fold higher,healthier,denser,and more various shrubs but with sparser trees and herbs occurred in the central urban forests(p<0.05)than in the outer *** conifer forests exhibited 30–70%obviously higher tree aboveground carbon sequestration(including stem and leaf)and 20%bigger trees,especially in the outer forests(p<0.05).In contrast,1.1-to 1.5-fold higher branch stocks,healthier and more diverse trees were found in broadleaved forests of both the inner and outer forests(p<0.05).Plant size and dominant species had similarly important roles in carbon stock improvement,especially big-sized woody plants and Pinus *** addition,a higher number of deciduous or needle species positively affected the broadleaved forest of the central urban area and conifer forest of the outer urban area,*** findings can be used to guide precise management and accelerate the improvement of urban carbon function in Northeast China in the future.

The design of diatomic catalysts with uniformly dispersed metal atoms is expected to improve catalytic performance,which is conducive to the intensive comprehending of the synergistic mechanism between dual-metal sites for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)at the atomic ***,we design a strategy to immobilize bimetallic Fe-Co atoms onto nitrogen-doped graphene to obtain a diatomic catalyst(DA-FC-NG)with FeN_(3)-CoN_(3) *** DA-FC-NG shows excellent OER activity with a low overpotential(η_(10)=268 mV),which is superior to commercial iridium dioxide *** calculations uncover that the excellent activity of DA-FC-NG is due to the interaction between Fe and Co diatoms,which causes charge rearrangement and induces the adsorption of intermediates on the Fe-O-Co bridge structure,thus improving the catalytic OER *** work is of great significance for the design of highly active diatomic catalysts to replace noble metal catalysts for energy-related applications.

Image Fusion Based on Bioinspired Rattlesnake Visual Mechanism Under Lighting Environments of Day and Night Two Levels

This study,grounded in Waxman fusion method,introduces an algorithm for the fusion of visible and infrared images,tailored to a two-level lighting environment,inspired by the mathematical model of the visual receptive field of rattlesnakes and the two-mode cells'*** research presented here is segmented into three *** the first segment,we design a preprocessing module to judge the ambient light intensity and divide the lighting environment into two levels:day and *** second segment proposes two distinct network structures designed specifically for these daytime and nighttime *** the daytime images,where visible light information is predominant,we feed the ON-VIS signal and the IR-enhanced visual signal into the central excitation and surrounding suppression regions of the ON-center receptive field in the B channel,***,for nighttime images where infrared information takes precedence,the ON-IR signal and the Visual-enhanced IR signal are separately input into the central excitation and surrounding suppression regions of the ON-center receptive field in the B *** outcome is a pseudo-color fused *** third segment employs five different no-reference image quality assessment methods to evaluate the quality of thirteen sets of pseudo-color images produced by fusing infrared and visible *** images are then compared with those obtained by six other methods cited in the relevant *** empirical results indicate that this study's outcomes surpass the comparative results in terms of average gradient and spatial *** one or two sets of fused images underperformed in terms of standard deviation and entropy when compared to the control *** sets of fused images did not perform as well as the comparison in the QAB/F *** conclusion,the fused images generated through the proposed method show superior performance in terms of scene detail,visual perception,and image sharpness

Emerging mobile edge computing(MEC)is considered a feasible solution for offloading the computation-intensive request tasks generated from mobile wireless equipment(MWE)with limited computational resources and *** to the homogeneity of request tasks from one MWE during a longterm time period,it is vital to predeploy the particular service cachings required by the request tasks at the MEC *** this paper,we model a service caching-assisted MEC framework that takes into account the constraint on the number of service cachings hosted by each edge server and the migration of request tasks from the current edge server to another edge server with service caching required by ***,we propose a multiagent deep reinforcement learning-based computation offloading and task migrating decision-making scheme(MBOMS)to minimize the long-term average weighted *** proposed MBOMS can learn the near-optimal offloading and migrating decision-making policy by centralized training and decentralized *** and comprehensive simulation results reveal that our proposed MBOMS can converge well after training and outperforms the other five baseline algorithms.

Surface reconstruction and structural transformation of twodimensional Ni-Fe MOFs for oxygen evolution in seawater media

As a four-electron transfer reaction,oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is limited by large overpotential and slow ***,we in-situ synthesized two-dimensional(2D)Ni-Fe metal-organic framework nanosheets on nickel foam(NixFe-TPA/NF,TPA=terephthalic acid)for oxygen evolution in alkaline and alkaline seawater *** 1 M KOH,Ni3Fe-TPA/NF shows a low overpotential(η10)of 189 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2) and an ultra-low overpotential of only 260 mV at 500 mA·cm^(-2).In alkaline seawater,Ni3Fe-TPA/NF still provides impressive OER performance,with anη10 of 265 ***-situ Raman characterization results show that the phase transition occurs during the OER,and Ni3FeOOH with more oxygen vacancies is in-situ formed,reducing the OER energy *** functional theory(DFT)reveals that the synergy between Ni and Fe reduces the energy barrier and accelerates the rate-determining *** addition,the ultra-thin 2D sheet structure and the close combination of Ni3FeOOH and highly conductive NF support ensure the high catalytic OER ***,the surface reconstruction and structural modification strategy can be used to design and prepare high-performance OER electrocatalysts for energy-related applications.

Simultaneous photocatalytic degradation and SERS detection of tetracycline with self-sustainable and recyclable ternary PI/TiO_(2)/Ag flexible microfibers

Facile and efficient photocatalysts using sunlight,as well as fast and sensitive surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)substrates,are urgently needed for practical degradation of tetracycline(TC).To meet these requirements,a new paradigm for PI/TiO_(2)/Ag organic‒inorganic ternary flexible microfibers based on semiconducting titanium dioxide(TiO_(2)),the noble metal silver(Ag)and the conjugated polymer polyimide(PI)was developed by engineering a simple *** sunlight,the photocatalytic characteristics of the PI/TiO_(2)/Ag flexible microfibers containing varying amounts of Ag quantum dots(QDs)were evaluated with photocatalytic degradation of TC in aqueous *** results demonstrated that the amount of Ag affected the photocatalytic *** the tested samples,PI/TiO_(2)/Ag-0.07(93.1%)exhibited a higher photocatalytic degradation rate than PI/TiO_(2)(25.7%),PI/TiO_(2)/Ag-0.05(77.7%),and PI/TiO_(2)/Ag-0.09(63.3%).This observation and evaluation conducted in the present work strongly indicated a charge transfer ***,the PI/TiO_(2)/Ag-0.07 flexible microfibers exhibited highly sensitive SERS detection,as demonstrated by the observation of the Raman peaks for TC even at an extremely low concentration of 10–10 moles per *** excellent photocatalytic performance and SERS detection capability of the PI/TiO_(2)/Ag flexible microfibers arose from the Schottky barrier formed between Ag and TiO_(2)and also from the outstanding plasmonic resonance and visible light absorptivity of Ag,along with immobilization by the *** successful synthesis of PI/TiO_(2)/Ag flexible microfibers holds significant promise for sensitive detection and efficient photocatalytic degradation of antibiotics.

Multispectral image compression and encryption method based on tensor decomposition in wavelet domain

Multispectral image compression and encryption algorithms commonly suffer from issues such as low compression efficiency,lack of synchronization between the compression and encryption proces-ses,and degradation of intrinsic image structure.A novel approach is proposed to address these ***,a chaotic sequence is generated using the Lorenz three-dimensional chaotic mapping to initiate the encryption process,which is XORed with each spectral band of the multispectral image to complete the initial encryption of the ***,a two-dimensional lifting 9/7 wavelet transform is applied to the processed ***,a key-sensitive Arnold scrambling technique is employed on the resulting low-frequency *** effectively eliminates spatial redundancy in the multispectral image while enhancing the encryption *** optimize the compression and encryption processes further,fast Tucker decomposition is applied to the wavelet sub-band *** effectively removes both spectral redundancy and residual spatial redundancy in the multispectral ***,the core tensor and pattern matrix obtained from the decomposition are subjected to entropy encoding,and real-time chaotic encryption is implemented during the encoding process,effectively integrating compression and *** results show that the proposed algorithm is suitable for occasions with high requirements for compression and encryption,and it provides valuable insights for the de-velopment of compression and encryption in multispectral field.
