Element cycling in the dominant plant communities including Rh. aureum, Rh. redowskianum and Vaccinium uliginosum in the Alpine tundra zone of Changbai Mountains in northeast china was studied. The results indicate that the amount of elements from litter decomposition was less than that of the plant uptake from soil, but that from plant uptake was higher than that in soil with mineralization process released. On the other hand, in the open system including precipitation input and soil leaching output, because of great number of elements from precipitation into the open system, the element cycling(except N, P) in the Alpine tundra ecosystem was in a dynamic balance. In this study, it was also found that different organ of plants had significant difference in accumulating elements. Ca, Mg, P and N were accumulated more obviously in leaves, while Fe was in roots. The degree of concentration of elements in different tissues of the same organ of the plants also was different, a higher concentration of Ca, Mg, P and N in mesophyll than in nerve but Fe was in a reversed order. The phenomenon indicates (1) a variety of biochemical functions of different elements, (2) the elements in mesophyll were with a shorter turnover period than those in nerve or fibre, but higher utilization rate for plant. Therefore, this study implies the significance of keeping element dynamic balance in the alpine tundra ecosystem of Changbai Mountains.

An extensive soil investigation was conducted in different domains of changchun to disclose the fractionations of Pb, Cu, Cd, Zn and Ni in urban soils. Meanwhile correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regressions were used to define relationships between soil properties and metal fractions and the chief factors influencing the fractionation of heavy metals in the soils. The results showed that Pb, Ni and Cu were mainly associated with the residual and organic forms; most of Cd was concentrated in the residual and exchangeable fractions. Zn in residual and carbonate fraction was the highest. The activities of the heavy metals probably declined in the following order: Cd, Zn, Pb, Cu and Ni. The chemical fractions of heavy metals in different domains in changchun City were of significantly spatial heterogeneity. Soil properties had different influences on the chemical fractions of heavy metals to some extent and the main factors influencing Cd, Zn, Pb, Cu and Ni fractionation and transformation were apparently different.

The catalytic conversion of glucose to high valueadded platform chemical 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)is a promising biorefinery process,and alumina-boria catalysts are considered to be green and mild solid acid catalysts for this catalytic ***,compared to the common synthesis methods with complicated steps,we reported a simple and efficient strategy to prepare B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)nanocomposites by calcining cost-effective glucose-urea deep eutectic solvent(DES)solution containing the *** prepared B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)nanocomposites exhibited an open three-dimensional skeleton and two-dimensional porous lamellar substructure,endowing them with a high specific surface area(228.27 m2/g).The introduction of boron changed the ratios of different aluminum species(AlⅣ,AlⅤ,and AlⅥ)and borate species(BO3 and BO4),thus further affecting the acidity and the types of acid sites of the *** prepared B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)bifunctional acid catalysts possessing abundant Lewis acid sites and adjustable Brønsted acid sites showed complete glucose conversion and 55.38%of HMF yield under the optimum *** study proposed a concise method to synthesize alumina-boria solid acid catalysts assisted by glucose-urea *** hope to extend the application and prospect of this efficient and simple synthesis strategy.

Developing transition metal-nitrogen-carbon materials(M-N-C)as electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is significant for low-cost energy conversion *** d-orbital adjustment of M center in M-N-C is beneficial to the improvement of OER ***,we synthesize a single-Mn-atom catalyst based on carbon skeleton(Mn_(1)-N_(2)S_(2)C_(x))with isolated Mn-N_(2)S_(2)sites,which exhibits high alkaline OER activity(η10=280 mV),low Tafel slope(44 mV·dec^(−1)),and excellent *** calculations reveal the pivotal function of isolated Mn-N_(2)S_(2)sites in promoting OER,including the adsorption kinetics of intermediates and activation mechanism of active *** doping of S causes the increase in both charge density and work function of active Mn center,and ortho-Mn_(1)-N_(2)S_(2)C_(x)expresses the fastest OER kinetics due to the asymmetric plane.

Topic modeling is a mainstream and effective technology to deal with text data, with wide applications in text analysis, natural language, personalized recommendation, computer vision, etc. Among all the known topic models, supervised Latent Dirichlet Allocation （sLDA） is acknowledged as a popular and competitive supervised topic model. How- ever, the gradual increase of the scale of datasets makes sLDA more and more inefficient and time-consuming, and limits its applications in a very narrow range. To solve it, a parallel online sLDA, named PO-sLDA （Parallel and Online sLDA）, is proposed in this study. It uses the stochastic variational inference as the learning method to make the training procedure more rapid and efficient, and a parallel computing mechanism implemented via the MapReduce framework is proposed to promote the capacity of cloud computing and big data processing. The online training capacity supported by PO-sLDA expands the application scope of this approach, making it instrumental for real-life applications with high real-time demand. The validation using two datasets with different sizes shows that the proposed approach has the comparative accuracy as the sLDA and can efficiently accelerate the training procedure. Moreover, its good convergence and online training capacity make it lucrative for the large-scale text data analyzing and processing.

Cucurbitacin E(CuE) is previously reported to exhibit antitumor effect by several *** this study, CuE acted as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor interfering with the epidermal growth factor receptor/mitogen-activated protein kinase(EGFR/MAPK) signaling pathway and subsequently induced apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) cell line *** apoptosis regulators, cleaved Caspases-3 and Caspases-9, were observed to be increased with the treatment of *** activated transcription factor STAT3 and the apoptosis inhibitor protein survivin were also observed to be *** cell cycle regulators, CyclinA2, cylinB1, CyclinD1 and CyclinE, were also investigated and the results suggested that the cell cycle was arrested at G1/G0 *** of CuE also altered the existence status of most of the participants in the EGFR/MAPK *** of EGFR enhanced significantly, leading to the alteration of members downstream, either total amount or phosphorylation level, notably,MEK1/2 and ERK1/***, the results of molecular simulation brought an insight on the interaction mechanism between CuE and *** summary, CuE exhibited anti-proliferative effect against A549 cells by targeting the EGFR/MAPK signaling pathway.

The complex wiring,bulky data collection devices,and difficulty in fast and on-site data interpretation significantly limit the practical application of flexible strain sensors as wearable *** tackle these challenges,this work develops an artificial intelligenceassisted,wireless,flexible,and wearable mechanoluminescent strain sensor system(AIFWMLS)by integration of deep learning neural network-based color data processing system(CDPS)with a sandwich-structured flexible mechanoluminescent sensor(SFLC)*** SFLC film shows remarkable and robust mechanoluminescent performance with a simple structure for easy *** CDPS system can rapidly and accurately extract and interpret the color of the SFLC film to strain values with auto-correction of errors caused by the varying color temperature,which significantly improves the accuracy of the predicted strain.A smart glove mechanoluminescent sensor system demonstrates the great potential of the AIFWMLS system in human gesture ***,the versatile SFLC film can also serve as a encryption *** integration of deep learning neural network-based artificial intelligence and SFLC film provides a promising strategy to break the“color to strain value”bottleneck that hinders the practical application of flexible colorimetric strain sensors,which could promote the development of wearable and flexible strain sensors from laboratory research to consumer markets.

Immunization Schedule of Liposomal Rabies Vaccine in Animals

The standard rabies vaccines recommended by WHO include Essen regimen, the Thai Red Cross two-site ID regimen and the eight-site ID regimen, and so on. The present schedules of rabies vaccine are all laborious and time consuming. We developed a new rabies vaccine with liposome as adjuvant（LipoRabV） and found that liposome could facilitate the inactivated rabies vaccine（RabV） to induce the more vigorous production of rabies virus neutralizing antibody（RVNA） in BALB/c mice and beagles. We established preliminary pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis schedules for LipoRabV. LipoRabV（0/14） could elicit similar RVNA level as RabV（0/7/28） by pre-exposure prophylaxis schedules in mice and beagles. LipoRabV（0/3/14） could elicit higher RVNA level vs. RabV（0/3/7/14/28） in BALB/c. The data indicate that the three-shot liposome-enhanced rabies vaccine could achieve a higher protection rate（survival rate 56.2%） by post-exposure prophylaxis compared with that of the RabV group（survival rate 40.6%） in mice. The data also indicate that the three-inoculation liposome-enhanced rabies vaccine could achieve a survival rate of 80.0% vs. RabV（70.0%） by post-exposure prophylaxis in beagles. The results show that the immunization schedule for LipoRabV could be preliminarily determined at 0 and 14 d for pre-exposure prophylaxis and at 0, 3 and 14 d for post-exposure prophylaxis.
