The development of hybrid optics/microwave communication systems puts forward a new requirement for beam splitters to efficiently transmit microwave signals and simultaneously reflect optical signals. Owing to mechanical constraints, the physical thickness of beam splitters is of the order of tens of millimeters. The corresponding electrical thickness has the same order of magnitude as microwave wavelengths, and the resulting multi-beam interference effect significantly reduces the microwave transmittance, impacting the beam splitting *** study presents a new optics/microwave beam splitter based on the ability of the frequency selective surface(FSS) to shape the resonant curve. A beam splitter sample,whose physical thickness and substrate material are 20 mm and quartz glass, respectively, is designed, simulated, fabricated, and characterized to validate the feasibility of this strategy. The measured results show that the minimum microwave transmittance between 35 and 36.5 GHz with an incidence angle of 45° under TE polarization is 86.43%, and the mean value of the reflectance spectra from 450 to 900 nm and that from 7.7 to 10.5 μm both exceed 96%. This FSS-based optics/microwave beam splitter is expected to play a key role in hybrid optics/microwave communication systems.

The scale-up deployment of ruthenium(Ru)-based oxygen evolution reaction(OER)electrocatalysts in proton exchange membrane water electrolysis(PEMWE)is greatly restricted by the poor *** the lattice-oxygen-mediated mechanism(LOM)has been identified as the major contributor to the fast performance degradation,impeding lattice oxygen diffusion to inhibit lattice oxygen participation is imperative,yet remains challenging due to the lack of efficient ***,we strategically regulate the bonding nature of Ru–O towards suppressed LOM via Ru-based high-entropy oxide(HEO)*** lattice disorder in HEOs is believed to increase migration energy barrier of lattice *** a result,the screened Ti_(23)Nb_(9)Hf_(13)W_(12)Ru_(43)O_(x) exhibits 11.7 times slower lattice oxygen diffusion rate,84%reduction in LOM ratio,and 29 times lifespan extension compared with the state-of-the-art RuO_(2) *** work opens up a feasible avenue to constructing stabilized Ru-based OER catalysts towards scalable application.

Fault diagnosis of traction systems is important for the safety operation of high-speed ***-term operation of the trains will degrade the performance of systems,which decreases the fault detection *** solve this problem,this paper proposes a fault detection method developed by a Generalized Autoencoder(GAE)for systems with performance *** advantage of this method is that it can accurately detect faults when the traction system of high-speed trains is affected by performance *** of the probability distribution,it can handle any data,and the GAE has extremely high sensitivity in anomaly ***,the effectiveness of this method is verified through the Traction Drive Control System(TDCS)*** different performance degradation levels,our method’s experimental results are superior to traditional methods.

Combining theoretical prediction and experimental exploration, the first sandwich-type polyoxovanadoborate(POVB) with an odd number of nuclei, [V_(11)B_(26)O_(73)(OH)_(10)]^(8-)(1), was discovered under hydrothermal conditions. Density-functional theory(DFT)gives a rationalization for the existence of this structure and the structural feature is consistent with the {V_NB_(2N+X)}(X = 2, 4, 6, 8)general formula. Excitingly, when Co and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen) are introduced into the synthesis of vanadoborates system,a 100-nuclei [Co_6(phen)_(10)(H_(2)O)_8][V_(14)Co_(12)B_(72)O_(144)(OH)_(20)]·28H_(2)O(2) and a 102-nuclei [Co_6(phen)_(14)(H_(2)O)_(4)][V_(14)Co_(12)B_(72)O_(144)(OH)_(20)]·23H_(2)O(3) with the same core structure of [V_(14)Co_(12)B_(72)]^(12-)are obtained. The vase-shaped [V_(14)Co_(12)B_(72)] polyanion is a multilayered sandwich-type structure containing seven distinct structural layers and is the largest known POVB. Furthermore, 2demonstrates exceptional thermal and chemical stability and serves as an efficient and stable catalyst for the photoreduction of carbon dioxide.

Seasonal snow cover is a key global climate and hydrological system component drawing considerable attention due to glob-al warming ***,the spatiotemporal snow cover patterns are challenging in western Jilin,China due to natural condi-tions and sparse ***,this study investigated the spatiotemporal patterns of snow cover using fine-resolution passive mi-crowave(PMW)snow depth(SD)data from 1987 to 2018,and revealed the potential influence of climate factors on SD *** results indicated that the interannual range of SD was between 2.90 cm and 9.60 cm during the snowy winter seasons and the annual mean SD showed a slightly increasing trend(P>0.05)at a rate of 0.009 cm/*** snowmelt periods,the snow cover contributed to an increase in volumetric soil water,and the change in SD was significantly affected by air *** correlation between SD and air temperature was negative,while the correlation between SD and precipitation was positive during December and *** March,the correlation coefficient exceeded 0.5 in Zhenlai,Da’an,Qianan,and Qianguo ***,the SD and precipitation were neg-atively correlated over western Jilin in October,and several subregions presented a negative correlation between SD and precipitation in November and April.

We study the Nadaraya-Watson estimators for the drift function of two-sided reflected stochastic differential *** estimates,based on either the continuously observed process or the discretely observed process,are *** certain conditions,we prove the strong consistency and the asymptotic normality of the two *** method is also suitable for one-sided reflected stochastic differential *** results demonstrate that the performance of our estimator is superior to that of the estimator proposed by Cholaquidis et al.(Stat Sin,2021,31:29-51).Several real data sets of the currency exchange rate are used to illustrate our proposed methodology.
