This article presents a brief review of the process and grand challenge of urbanization in China today. 1. Chinas urbanization amid high economic growth Over the past few decades, China＇s economy has maintained rapid growth, with an average annual gross domestic product （GDP） growth rate of more than 10% （Fig. 1 [1 ]）. In recent years, the Chinese economy has entered a ＂new normal,＂ in which the GDP growth rate has slowed but remained stable at around 7%.

Today ,the global economy is highly integrated and the competition among steel producers is increasingly fierce. Focusing on scale expansion, adhering to the ＇open-to-the-world＇, self-integration and self-innovation policies,and keeping up with the development of processing equipment and production technologies ,Baosteel has successfully shifted its strategies from ＂premium products＂ to ＂premium products plus scale expansion＂, and from ＂building new production lines＂ to ＂merging and restructuring plus building new production lines ＂. These strategies have greatly enhanced Baosteel＇s comprehensive competitiveness and speeded up its sustainable development. On a new stage of development, Baosteel will choose an open mode of self-integration and self-innovation, which lays emphasis on improving its technological capacity by ＂internal creation＂ and ＂external acquisition＂ ,to develop a recycling economy. Through correctly balancing the relationship between scale expansion and environmental protection, Baosteel will constantly improve its core competitiveness, keep corporate and social development in perfect harmony,produce better steel products and create a sound environment and a better life.

*** felt excess competitive pressure from both inside and outside because of financial liberalization,and liquidity brought about by a loose monetary policy intensif ied *** cope with the excess competition and pursue higher prof its,commercial banks turned to innovative financial products with high yields but high *** banks,insurance companies and policy banks also deviated from their original business;as a result,risks in the financial system rapidly accumulated and a financial ecological imbalance occurred - the primary cause of the current financial *** from financial resources allocation in the U.S.,Brazil and Japan show that since banks are special corporations with great social externalities,governments should institute financial restraint policies that clearly define the business boundaries between commercial finance and development finance to maintain financial system stability,magnify positive externalities and limit negative externalities.

Over the past 10 years, China＇s steel industry has made a substantial development in terms of scale, and has finally become a steel giant in the world. In the upcoming 10 years, fundamental changes will be made with the economic growth in China. Against this background, China＇ s steel industry will shift from a rapid development to a slow but sound development. In order to fulfill the second leap of China＇s steel industry, based on its current developing status and characteristics, and from the perspective of both national and corporate development, mergers and acquisition are both effective ways to raise the quality of the existing stock of asset in the steel industry, while technological innovation is the solid foundation for its second leap.

Practical diagnostic use of immunohistochemistry

Experiences from NPL Disposal in Japan

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) has a broad field of application. The most important diagnostic contribution of IHC is related to tumour diagnosis. In many instances IHC provides detailed information of the phenotype of the tumour cells. This information allows the pathologist to make a precise diagnosis of the primary tumour. In the case of metastatic lesions, this information can give the pathologist an idea of the primary site of the tumour. It is, however, of great importance to use well - designed panels of antibodies and to apply quality control of the stainings. This should be done to optimize the use of IHC, both in terms of diagnostic accuracy and cost. With the purpose to illustrate the potential and pitfalls of IHC, three different applications in tumour diagnosis will be briefly described. First, different markers
