Acute kidney injury(AKI)can lead to loss of kidney function and a substantial increase in *** burst of reactive oxygen species(ROS)plays a key role in the pathological progression of ***-targeted antioxidant therapy is very promising because mitochondria are the main source of ROS in *** nanodrugs with actively targeted mitochondria have achieved encouraging success in many oxidative stress-induced ***,most strategies to actively target mitochondria make the size of nanodrugs too large to pass through the glomerular system to reach the renal tubules,the main damage site of ***,an ultra-small Tungsten-based nanodots(TWNDs)with strong ROS scavenging can be very effective for treatment of *** can reach the tubular site after crossing the glomerular barrier,and enter the mitochondria of the renal tubule without resorting to complex active targeting *** our knowledge,this is the first time that ultra-small negatively charged nanodots can be used to passively target mitochondrial therapy for *** in-depth study of the therapeutic mechanism,such passive mitochondria-targeted TWNDs are highly effective in protecting mitochondria by reducing mitochondrial ROS and increasing *** addition,TWNDs can also reduce the infiltration of inflammatory *** work provides a new way to passively target mitochondria for AKI,and give inspiration for the treatment of many major diseases closely related to mitochondria,such as myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction.

BACKGROUND Highly upregulated in liver cancer (HULC) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) which has recently been identified as a key regulator in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression. However, its role in the secretion of exosomes from HCC cells remains unknown. AIM To explore the mechanism by which HULC promotes the secretion of exosomes from HCC cells. METHODS Serum and liver tissue samples were collected from 30 patients with HCC who had not received chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or immunotherapy before surgery. HULC expression in serum exosomes and liver cancer tissues of patients was measured, and compared with the data obtained from healthy controls and tumor adjacent tissues. The effect of HULC upregulation in HCC cell lines and the relationship between HULC and other RNAs were studied using qPCR and dualluciferase reporter assays. Nanoparticle tracking analysis was performed to detect the quantity of *** HULC expression in serum exosomes of patients with HCC was higher than that in serum exosomes of healthy controls, and HULC levels were higher in liver cancer tissues than in tumor adjacent tissues. The expression of HULC in serum exosomes and liver cancer tissues correlated with the tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) classification, and HULC expression in tissues correlated with that in serum exosomes. Upregulation of HULC promoted HCC cell growth and invasion and repressed apoptosis. Notably, it also facilitated the secretion of exosomes from HCC cells. Moreover, qPCR assays showed that HULC repressed microRNA-372-3p (miR-372-3p) expression. We also identified Rab11a as a downstream target of miR-372-3p. Dual-luciferase reporter assays suggested that miR-372-3p could directly bind both HULC and Rab11a. CONCLUSION Our findings illustrate the importance of the HULC/miR-372-3p/Rab11a axis in HCC and provide new insights into the molecular mechanism regulating the secretion of exosomes from HCC cells.

Heavy duty engine valve head was prepared by Ni76Cr19AlTi *** was coated by cobalt-base alloy on the surface topromote its *** tester,metallograph,scanning microscopy,energy spectrum and X-ray diffraction were used toanalyze the mechanical properties,the microstructure of the welds and the coated layer of cobalt-base *** results show that thegrains are obviously coasened in the side of Ni76Cr19AlTi alloy in the welds and it contains a typical dentritic structure in the sidecobalt-base *** is found that micro-strain in weld is stronger than that in ***-strain in nickel-base alloy isstronger than that cobalt-base *** are not obvious imperfects in the *** in cobalt-base alloy is more than 390HVand the major carbides in cobalt-base alloy are Cr7C3 and W2C.

Cu and Nb powders were used as starting materials to produce Cu-Nb and Cu-NbC-WC composites by mechanical alloying. X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy observations and microhardness measurements have been used to study the effects of milling tools on the phase, microstructure and property of the composites. The results revealed that a single-phase nanocrystalline solid solution was obtained using stainless steel vials and balls （Alloy 1）. Nevertheless, Cu-7 wt% Nb powders milled by tungsten carbon vials and balls exhibited an amorphous phase （Alloy 2）. The as-milled powders were then vacuum hot-pressing sintered. The microstructure of sintered Alloy 1 consisted of Nb nanoparticles and Cu nanograins. Instead, Alloy 2 showed a microstructure with NbC nanoparticles and WC submicron-sized particles dispersed throughout the Cu matrix. Furthermore, Alloy 2 （～ 322 HV） had a higher microhardness than Alloy 1 （～ 302 HV）.

AIM The single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) c.415C>T in exon 3 of NUDT15 affects thiopurine-induced leukopenia in Asian patients with Crohn's disease. Meanwhile, three additional genetic variants of NUDT15 were reported in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We evaluated the effects of these additional genetic variants of NUDT15 in patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) treated with *** Ninety-six Japanese patients with IBD were enrolled. Genotyping for the NUDT15 and TPMT genes was performed using Custom Taq Man SNP genotyping assays or Sanger sequencing. The changes in white blood cell(WBC) count, mean corpuscular volume(MCV), platelet count, hemoglobin, CRP, amylase, albumin, AST, ALT, and ESR were *** Genetic variants of exon 1 and exon 3 of NUDT15 were identified in 24 of 96 patients(25.0%). C.52G > A and c.36_37 insG GAGTC in exon 1 were found in three patients each. All three patients with c.36_37 insG GAGTC in exon 1 were heterozygotes of ***139 Cys in exon 3. Eighteen patients had ***139 Cys in exon 3 alone. The WBC count gradually decreased after initiation of thiopurine treatment in the mutated cases(n = 24), and was significantly lower at 6, 8, 10, and 16 wk(P = 0.0271, 0.0037, 0.0051, and 0.0185, respectively). The WBC counts were also evaluated in patients with and without prednisolone treatment. In the patients with prednisolone treatment, the WBC count tended to show a greater decrease in the mutated cases, with significant differences at 8 and 10 wk(P = 0.012 and 0.029, respectively). In the patients without prednisolone treatment, the WBC count was significantly lower at 2, 4, 8, and 14 wk in mutated cases(P = 0.0196, 0.0182, 0.0237 and 0.0241, respectively). MCV increased after starting thiopurine treatment in the mutated cases, and was significantly higher at 10 wk(P = 0.0085). Powder mixtures of Fe2O3 and ZnO were milled in a high-energy planetary ball mill to synthesize ZnFe2O4 and X-ray powder diffractometry was used to obtain the relative content of phases,crystallite size and microstrain of both Fe2O3 and ZnFe2O4. The lattice constants of Fe2O3 were obtained by cell refinement *** macrokinetics and the structure evolution of matters were studied and the results show that the dynamics process of mechanochemical synthesis of ZnFe2O4 fits Avrami-Erofe’ev model and is controlled by a nucleation-growth mechanism,and the structural macrokinetics theory in combustion synthesis research area could be used to describe the kinetic process as well.

The thermal behavior of Fe84Nb7B9 nanocrystalline powders were analyzed by DTA, XRD and TEM measurements. The results show that nanocrystalline powders with grain size of less than 10 nm can be prepared by mechanical alloying. After annealed below 770 ℃, the obtained powders remain in the scale of nanometer without new phases formed, exhibiting good thermal stability. On its DTA curve, a wide temperature interval of 450 ℃ between its two exothermic peaks can be observed. The powders in as-milled state has bcc structure of supersaturated solid solution type, and nanocrystalline together with amorphous phases can be observed in the powder annealed at 350 ℃, which is beneficial for the good soft magnetic properties.

Phase structure and electrochemical properties of melt-spinning alloy Zr(MnVNi)_(2.4)

Zr(Mn 0.2 V 0.2 Ni 0.6 ) 2.4 alloy was prepared by using both arc melting and melt spinning processes. The XRD results indicate that the as cast alloy contains two Laves phases, C14 (15.45%) and C15 (76.48%), and the non Laves phase Zr 7M 10 (8.07%, M presents Ni, Mn, V). Meanwhile the melt spun alloy only has the C14 (27.67%) and C15 (69.43%) Laves phases. The electrochemical test indicates that the melt spun alloy has much better cycling stability ( S 500 =90.8%), higher discharge capacity ( C max =347.5 mA·h·g -1 ) than those of as cast alloy ( S 500 =80.9%, C max =340.8 mA·h·g -1 ), although its activation property and high rate dischargeability decrease somewhat. The different electrochemical properties between the melt spun and as cast alloys are resulted from the different phase composition, phase abundance and microstructure.
