Acellular dermal matrix(ADM)shows promise for cartilage regeneration and ***,an effective decellularization technique that removes cellular components while preserving the extracellular matrix,the transformation of 2D-ADM into a suitable 3D scaffold with porosity and the enhancement of bioactive and biomechanical properties in the 3D-ADM scaffold are yet to be fully *** this study,we present an innovative decellularization method involving 0.125%trypsin and 0.5%SDS and a 1%Triton X-100 solution for preparing ADM and converting 2D-ADM into 3D-ADM *** scaffolds exhibit favorable physicochemical properties,exceptional biocompatibility and significant potential for driving cartilage regeneration in vitro and in *** further enhance the cartilage regeneration potential of 3D-ADM *** incorporated porcine-derived small intestinal submucosa(SIS)for bioactivity and calcium sulfate hemihydrate(CSH)for biomechanical *** resulting 3D-ADM+SIS scaffolds displayed heightened biological activity,while the 3D-ADM+CSH scaffolds notably bolstered biomechanical *** scaffold types showed promise for cartilage regeneration and repair in vitro and in vivo,with considerable improvements observed in repairing cartilage defects within a rabbit articular cartilage *** summary,this research introduces a versatile 3D-ADM scaffold with customizable bioactive and biomechanical properties,poised to revolutionize the field of cartilageregeneration.

[Objectives]To establish a new management model for rational use of perioperative antibacterial drugs in surgical departments.[Methods]Based on evidence-based medicine,the department s drug pathway was formulated,and the new mode of rational drug use control was established by using fine pharmaceutical technology intervention,and the intervention effect was evaluated by the intensity of antibacterial drug use,per capita drug costs and the proportion of drugs.[Results]After adopting drug pathway in departments,the intensity of antibacterial drug use,per capita drug costs and the proportion of drugs decreased significantly,and the effect of rational drug use control was remarkable.[Conclusions]The drug pathway provides a new management and control mode for the rational use of perioperative antibacterial drugs in surgical departments of ***,it is worthy of popularization and application.

Stutzerimonas have been extensively studied due to their remarkable metabolic and physiological ***,research on its phages is currently *** this study,we isolated a novel double-stranded DNA(dsDNA)phage,vB_SstM-PG1,from the marine environment that infects Stutzerimonas stutzeri *** dsDNA genome is 37204 bp long with a G/C content of 64.14%and encodes 54 open reading *** phage possesses a tail packaging structure that is different from known Stutzerimonas stutzeri phages and exhibits structural protein characteristics similar to those of temperate *** addition,two genes of toxin-antitoxin system,including YdaS_antitoxin and HEPN_SAV_6107,were found in the vB_SstM-PG1 genome and play important roles in regulating host growth and *** phylogenetic tree and comparative genomic analysis,it has been determined that vB_SstM-PG1 is not closely related to any phages previously identified in the GenBank ***,it has a connection with enigmatic,uncultured ***,the vB_SstM-PG1 virus exhibits an average nucleotide identity of over 70%with six uncultivated viruses identified in the IMG/VR v4 *** significant finding has resulted in the identification of a novel viral genus known as Metabovirus.

Background: The incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer (CRC) in China are increasing in recent years. The clarified pathogenesis and detectable precancerous lesions of CRC make it possible to prevent, screen, and diagnose CRC at an early stage. With the development of endoscopic and surgical techniques, the choice of treatment for early CRC is also worth further discussion, and accordingly, a standard follow-up program after treatment needs to be ***: This clinical practice guideline (CPG) was developed following the recommended process of the World Health Organization, adopting Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) in assessing evidence quality, and using the Evidence to Decision framework to formulate clinical recommendations, thereby minimizing bias and increasing transparency of the CPG development process. We used the Reporting Items for practice Guidelines in HealThcare (RIGHT) statement and Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation II (AGREE II) as reporting and conduct guides to ensure the guideline’s completeness and ***: This CPG comprises 46 recommendations concerning prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance of CRC. In these recommendations, we have indicated protective and risk factors for CRC and made recommendations for chemoprevention. We proposed a suitable screening program for CRC based on the Chinese context. We also provided normative statements for the diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance of CRC based on existing clinical evidence and ***: The 46 recommendations in this CPG are formed with consideration for stakeholders’ values and preferences, feasibility, and acceptability. Recommendations are generalizable to resource-limited settings with similar CRC epidemiology pattern as China.

Efficacy and Safety of Iron Isomaltoside Compared with an Oral Iron Supplement in the Management of Patients with Iron Deficiency Anemia

Objective: To evaluate the treatment outcome of iron isomaltoside compared with an oral iron supplement in the management of iron deficiency anemia (IDA). Methods: The study included patients with IDA who visited the Outpatient Clinic of the Department of Hematology, the Affiliated hospital of qingdao University from October 2021 to August 2022 and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. According to the actual application of iron supplementation, the patients were divided into two groups: iron isomaltoside treatment group and oral iron treatment group. Baseline measurements were collected before the start of treatment, and measurements were collected subsequently at intervals of 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months. The hematological parameters analyzed included Hemoglobin (Hb), Mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), Mean Hemoglobin content (MCH), Mean corpuscular Hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), and Platelet (Plt). Safety data and adverse event profiles were recorded. Results: Intra-group comparisons: After 1 month of treatment, the Hb significantly improved (P 0.05). Inter-group comparisons: The biochemical parameters were significantly improved (P 0.05) in the iron isomaltoside group compared with those in the oral iron group after 1 month of iron supplementation in patients with mild and moderate anemia. Adverse reactions were tolerable for the patients in both iron isomaltoside group and oral iron group. Only 1 patient in iron isomaltoside group developed anaphylactic shock during medication and recovered after aggressive rescue. Conclusions: Iron isomaltoside which increases Hb more rapidly compared with the oral iron supplementation has few adverse reactions and good acceptance.

Background:Pregnancy in women with pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH)is a fatal condition,despite the effectiveness of PAH-specific *** coverage status and effect of specific therapies in pregnant patients with PAH without cardiac shunts in China remain *** investigate this issue,we conducted a multicenter retrospective study in northern ***:The study included 85 patients who were admitted to 4 clinical centers in Shandong Province between October 2010 and August *** endpoint events included(1)maternal death and/or(2)major adverse cardiac events,both occurring during pregnancy or within 6 weeks ***:Although the overall mortality rate was encouraging(11.8%),the number of patients receiving PAH-specific therapies was extremely low(28.2%).Moreover,only 15.3%of patients received adequate duration of PAH-specific therapy(≥4 weeks)before delivery,and this subgroup showed the lowest major adverse cardiac events rate(7.7%)compared with that in the untreated(19.7%)and short-time treated groups(<4 weeks;54.5%).Conclusion:Pregnant patients with PAH without cardiac shunts face significantly increased mortality ***-term PAH-specific therapy does not guarantee favorable maternal *** screening,early identification,and timely intervention are expected to improve maternal outcomes in pregnant women with PAH.

Nursing Experience of Early Application of Nasoenteric Tube for Enteral Nutrition in Critically Ill ICU Patients

Objective:To investigate the effective nursing measures of early application of nasoenteric tube for enteral nutrition in critically ill patients in ICU,and to summarize the nursing ***:The study was carried out in June 2023–November 2023.62 samples of ICU critically ill patients were selected,all of whom used enteral nutrition by mesenteric tube and were grouped into an observation group(n=31)and a control group(n=31)by using the numerical table randomization *** patients in the control group were basic nursing interventions,and the patients in the observation group were comprehensive quality care,comparing the nutritional indexes,complication rates,and nursing satisfaction between the two ***:All nutritional indicators of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after nursing intervention(P<0.05);the complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Comprehensive quality nursing care during the early application of a gastroenteric tube for enteral nutrition in critically ill patients in the ICU can improve nutritional indexes,reduce the incidence of complications and improve nursing satisfaction.

Endorepellin downregulation promotes angiogenesis after experimental traumatic brain injury

Endorepellin plays a key role in the regulation of angiogenesis,but its effects on angiogenesis after traumatic brain injury are *** study explored the effects of endorepellin on angiogenesis and neurobehavioral outcomes after traumatic brain injury in *** were randomly divided into four groups:sham,controlled cortical impact only,adeno-associated virus(AAV)-green fluorescent protein,and AAV-shEndorepellin-green fluorescent protein *** the controlled cortical impact model,the transduction of AAV-shEndorepellin-green fluorescent protein downregulated endorepellin while increasing the number of CD31+/Ki-67+proliferating endothelial cells and the functional microvessel density in mouse *** changes resulted in improved neurological function compared with controlled cortical impact *** blotting revealed increased expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and angiopoietin-1 in mice treated with AAV-shEndorepellin-green fluorescent *** radiation angiography showed that endorepellin downregulation promoted angiogenesis and increased cortical neovascularization,which may further improve neurobehavioral ***,an in vitro study showed that downregulation of endorepellin increased tube formation by human umbilical vein endothelial cells compared with a *** analysis found that endorepellin downregulation may mediate angiogenesis by activating vascular endothelial growth factor-and angiopoietin-1-related signaling pathways.
