Using the coordinate transformation method, we solve the one-dimensional Schrodinger equation with position-dependent mass. The explicit expressions for the potentials, energy eigenvalues, and eigenfunctions of the systems are given. The eigenfunctions can be expressed in terms of the Jacobi, Hermite, and generalized Laguerre polynomials. All potentials for these solvable systems have an extra term Vm, which is produced from the dependence of mass on the position, compared with those for the systems of constant mass. The properties of Vm for several mass functions are discussed.

To explore the physical contents of the light-cone QCD effective Hamiltonian on meson sector, the mass spectra of flavour off-diagonal mesons consisting of （u, d, s, c, b） quarks and mesons consisting of heavy quarks cc and bb are calculated relativistically and nonperturbatively. Numerical results show that the present light-cone QCD effective Hamiltonian without confining potentials and flavour mixing interactions can well describe the ground states but can not apply for the excited states of the mesons. This result may imply that （i） the confining potential is indispensable for the excited states of mesons, （ii） the valence quark qq subspace is only valid for ground states but not for excited states. The above information may be significant for improving the light-cone QCD effective Hamiltonian approach, especially showing the urgent need to implement a confining potential and to enlarge the subspace of the meson sector for a more appropriate description of the excited states of the mesons.

Using the technique of quantum transport of the interfering pair we examine the Hanbury-Brown-Twiss （HBT） interferometry signatures for the particle-emitting sources of pions and kaons produced in heavy ion collisions at 10-30 AGeV. The evolution of the sources is described by relativistic hydrodynamics with the first-order phase transition from quark-gluon plasma （QGP） to hadronic matter. We use quantum probability amplitudes in a path-integral formalism to calculate the two-particle correlation functions, where the effects of particle decay and multiple scattering are taken into consideration. Our model-calculated results indicate that both the HBT radii of pions and kaons increase with the system initial energy density. The HBT lifetimes of the pion and kaon sources increase significantly when the initial energy density is tuned to the phase boundary between the QGP and mixed phase. This increase of HBT lifetimes will likely appear in heavy ion collisions with an incident energy between 10-30 AGeV.

The neutron-rich even-even nuclei^26–40Mg,^28–46Si,^30–48S, and ^32–56Ar are calculated with the RMF model and the phase-shift electron scattering method. Results show that level inversion of the 2s1/2 and 1d3/2 proton states may occur for the magnesium, silicon, sulphur, and argon isotopes with more neutrons away from the stability line. Calculations show that the variation of the central charge densities for30–48S, and32–56Ar are very sensitive to the 2s1/2 and 1d3/2 proton state level inversion, and the level inversion can lead to a large measurable central charge depletion to the charge density distributions for the neutron-rich isotopes. Calculations also show that the charge density diferences between the isotopes with and without central charge depletion can reveal not only the level inversion of the 2s1/2 and 1d3/2 proton states but also the behavior of the proton wave functions of both states. The results can provide references for the possible study of the nuclear level inversion and nuclear bubble phenomenon with electron scattering of short-lived nuclei at RIKEN or/and GSI in the future. In addition, direct nuclear reaction 44S（n, d）43P or44S（3H, α）43P might also be a possible way to study the 2s1/2 and 1d3/2 proton state level inversion.

Signal reconstruction through software processing is a crucial component of the background and signal models in the PandaX-4T experiment,which is a multi-tonne dark matter direct search *** accuracy of signal reconstruction is influenced by various detector artifacts,including noise,dark count of photomultiplier,photoionization of impurities in the detector,and other relevant *** this study,we presented a detailed description of a semi-data-driven approach designed to simulate a signal *** work provides a reliable model for the efficiency and bias of the signal reconstruction in the data analysis of *** comparing critical variables that relate to the temporal shape and hit pattern of the signals,we found good agreement between the simulation and data.

Quark and gluon condensates in nuclear matter are investigated in a density-dependent relativistic mean-field theory. The in-medium quark condensate decreases rapidly as the density of nu-clear matter increases, if the Brown-Rho scaling is included. The decrease in the in-medium quark condensate with the nuclear matter density is consistent with the result predicted by the partial chiral symmetry restoration. The gluon condensate and the influence of the strange quark contents on the gluon condensate in nuclear matter are discussed.

In a recent XUV photoabsorption spectrum of Cs Ⅲ ions by Cummings and O＇Sullivan [2001 J. Phys. B 34 199], rather large linewidths were found for the 4d^95s^25p^6 - 4d^105s^25p^5 transition which are quite in disagreement with corresponding quasi-relativistic multiconfiguration Hartree Fock （MCHF） calculation. In the present work, a detailed multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock study has been carried out to explore this discrepancy. Owing to the detailed consideration of electron correlation effects, some ‘forbidden＇ Auger decay channels, such as 4d^105s^25p^35d and 4d^105s^05p^6, would become ‘open＇. As a result, remarkable improvement of the linewidths has been obtained in our calculation. Furthermore, the theoretical Auger spectrum of the 4d^ 95s^25p^6 core-excited states of Cs Ⅲ ions is Riven in the present work.

The direct proton capture and resonance proton capture properties of stellar reactions 22Mg(p,γ)23Al and 26Si(p,γ)27P are studied by employing a mean-field potential obtained from the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock(SHF) *** with the SHF potential reproduce well the loosely-bound structure of the ground states as well as the widths of the resonant states in these *** the obtained potential we estimate the reaction rates of direct proton capture and resonance proton capture to nuclei 23Al and *** effect of the 27P loosely-bound structure on the S factor of the direct proton capture is also discussed.
