Decision making module based on stochastic magnetic tunnel junctions

In biological neural systems, noise is ubiquitous but does not affect the correct decisions made in the complex cognitive ***-making in biological neural system is typically achieved by accumulating input information over a period of *** by recent developments in neurosciences, we design a decision-making module based on spintronic devices, utilizing superparamagnetic tunnel junctions as artificial neurons. The feasibility of this decision-making module is verified through circuit simulations. Taking a multi-layer perceptron as an example, the module significantly improves the accuracy of the perceptron in the handwritten digit recognition task. Furthermore, the spintronic decision-making module offers advantages over the conventional pooling methods, such as adaptive decision time, high performance and the absence of analog-to-digital conversion. The decision-making module is flexible to be integrated into artificial neural networks and provides a general yet effective solution to enhance performance against device noise.

We theoretically investigate the spin resolved Friedel oscillation （FO） and quasiparticle interference （QPI） in graphene induced by an Anderson *** the impurity becomes magnetic,the resulted FO becomes spin dependent,which gives rise to a local magnetic moment oscillation with an envelop decaying as r-2in real space in the doping ***,at half filling,the electron density and local magnetic moment will not oscillate but decay as *** spin resolved FO has both sublattice and spin ***,the local magnetic moment decay at half filling only occurs at one sublattice of graphene,which is quite like the phenomenon observed in the STM experiment (***ález-Herrero et al.,Science 352,437 （2016）).We further give an analytic formula about such spin dependent FO based on the stationary phase ***,we study the interference of quasiparticles around the magnetic impurity by calculating the spin dependent Fourier-transformed local density of states （FT-LDOS）.Our work gives a comprehensive understanding about the local magnetic moment oscillation around an Anderson impurity on graphene.

Small RNA（sRNA）-mediated post-transcriptional regulation differs from protein-mediated regulation. Through basepairing, sRNA can regulate the target m RNA in a catalytic or stoichiometric manner. Some theoretical models were built for comparison of the protein-mediated and sRNA-mediated modes in the steady-state behaviors and noise properties. Many experiments demonstrated that a single sRNA can regulate several m RNAs, which causes crosstalk between the ***, we focus on some models in which two target mRNAs are silenced by the same sRNA to discuss their crosstalk features. Additionally, the sequence-function relationship of sRNA and its role in the kinetic process of base-pairing have been highlighted in model building.

Manipulation of multiple electromagnetically induced two-photon transparency in a six-level atomic system

In the five-level K-type atomic system, by using another control field to couple the excited level of the coupling transition to the sixth higher excited level, a six-level atomic system is constructed. In this system, the multiple electromagnetically induced two-photon transparency has been investigated. What is more, if choosing the parameters of the control fields properly the triple transparency window will reduce to a double one which means that the multiple electromagnetically induced two-photon transparency can be manipulated in this system. The physical interpretation of these phenomena is given in terms of the dressed states and the dark states.

In a recent reformulation of quantum mechanics, the properties of the physical system are derived from orthogonal polynomials that make up the expansion coefficients of the wavefunction in a complete set of square integrable basis. Here, we show how to reconstruct the potential function so that a correspondence with the standard formulation could be established. However, the correspondence places restriction on the kinematics of such problems.

Silk damping is well known in the study of cosmic microwave background（CMB） and accounts for suppression of the angular power spectrum of CMB on large angular multipoles. In this article, we study the effect of Silk damping on the scalar-induced gravitational waves（SIGWs）. Resulting from the dissipation of cosmic fluid, the Silk damping notably suppresses the energydensity spectrum of SIGWs on scales comparable to a diffusion scale at the decoupling time of weakly-interacting particles. The effect offers a novel observable for probing the underlying particle interaction, especially for those mediated by heavy gauge bosons beyond the standard model of particles. We anticipate that pulsar timing arrays are sensitive to gauge bosons with mass ～10～3-10～4 GeV, while space-and ground-based interferometers to those with mass ～10～7-1012GeV, leading to essential complements to on-going and future experiments of high-energy physics.

We study aspects of holographic superconductors analytically in the presence of a constant external magnetic field. It is shown that the critical temperature and the critical magnetic field can be calculated at nonzero temperature. We detect the Meissner effect in such superconductors. A universal relation between black hole mass and critical magnetic field Hc is proposed to be Hc/M2/3≤0.687365. We also discuss some aspects of phase transition in terms of black hole entropy and Bekenstein＇s entropy to the energy upper bound.

One of the primary goals of space-borne gravitational wave detectors is to detect and analyze extreme-mass-ratio inspirals(EMRIs). This task is particularly challenging because EMRI signals are complex, lengthy, and faint. In this work, we introduce a2-layer convolutional neural network(CNN) approach to detect EMRI signals for space-borne detectors, achieving a true positive rate(TPR) of 96.9% at a 1% false positive rate(FPR) for signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) from 50 to 100. Especially, the key intrinsic parameters of EMRIs such as the mass, spin of the supermassive black hole(SMBH) and the initial eccentricity of the orbit can also be inferred directly by employing a neural network. The mass and spin of the SMBH can be determined at 99% and 92% respectively. This will greatly reduce the parameter spaces and computing cost for the following Bayesian parameter *** model also has a low dependency on the accuracy of the waveform model. This study underscores the potential of deep learning methods in EMRI data analysis, enabling the rapid detection of EMRI signals and efficient parameter estimation.

In this paper we postulate an algebraic model to relate the triplet characteristic of lepton families to Lorentz violation. Inspired by the two-to-one mapping between the group SL（2, C） and the Lorentz group via the Pauli grading （the elements of SL（2, C） expressed by direct sum of unit matrix and generators of SU（2） group）, we grade the SL（3,C） group with the generators of SU（3）, i. e. the Gell-Mann matrices, then express the SU（3） group in terms of three SU（2） subgroups, each of which stands for a lepton species and is mapped into the proper Lorentz group as in the case of the group SL（2,C）. If the mapping from group SL（3,C） to the Lorentz group is constructed by choosing one SU（2） subgroup as basis, then the other two subgroups display their impact only by one more additional generator to that of the original Lorentz group. Applying the mapping result to the Dirac equation, it is found that only when the kinetic vertex -γμθ^μ is extended to encompass γ5γμθ^μ can the Dirac-equation-form be conserved. The generalized vertex is useful in producing neutrino oscillations and mass differences.
