1 Introduction As wireless technology continues to expand,there is a growing concern about the efficient use of spectrum *** though a significant portion of the spectrum is allocated to licensed primary users(PUs),studies indicate that their actual utilization is often limited to between 5%to 10%[1].The underutilization of spectrum has given rise to cognitive radio(CR)technology,which allows secondary users(SUs)to opportunistically access these underused resources[2].However,wideband spectrum sensing,the key of CR,is limited by the need for high-speed analog-to-digital converters(ADCs),which are costly and *** spectrum sensing(CSS)addresses this challenge by employing sub-Nyquist rate *** efficiency of active transmission detection heavily depends on the quality of spectrum reconstruction.

Computer based automation and control systems are becoming increasingly important in smart sustainable buildings,often referred to as automated buildings(ABs),in order to automatically control,optimize and supervise a wide range of building performance applications over a network while minimizing energy consumption and associated green house gas *** technology generally refers to building automation and control systems(BACS)*** of costly and time-consuming experiments,this paper focuses on development and design of a distributed dynamic simulation environment with the capability to represent BACS architecture in simulation by run-time coupling two or more different software tools over a *** involves using distributed dynamic simulations as means to analyze the performance and enhance networked real-time control systems in ABs and improve the functions of real BACS *** application and capability of this new dynamic simulation environment are demonstrated by an experimental design,in this paper.

In this paper,a group consensus problem is investigated for multiple networked agents with parametric uncertainties where all the agents are governed by the Euler-Lagrange system with uncertain *** the group consensus problem,the agents asymptotically reach several different states rather than one consistent state.A novel group consensus protocol and a time-varying estimator of the uncertain parameters are proposed for each agent in order to solve the couple-group consensus *** is shown that the group consensus is reachable even when the system contains the uncertain ***,the multi-group consensus is discussed as an extension of the couple-group consensus,and then the group consensus with switching topology is *** results are finally provided to validate the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.

Wind power is one of the most popular renewables and occupies a great proportion in the total capacity of the grid *** operations of the grid system such as scheduling and dispatching dependent much on the prediction accuracy of power *** paper reviews wind power forecasting methods in multi-spatial scales and multi-temporal *** different spatial scales,methods for a single turbine,a wind farm,and even a large wind power generation area are considered in three parts *** each part,firstly,forecasting methods are divided into methods with only historical wind information and methods with additional meteorological information,and then,classified up to four different temporal *** about the similarity and discrepancy of these methods are also presented at the end of each ***,this paper gives two examples of real applications where wind power forecasting methods are significant.

This paper presents new techniques for construction of dynamic output feedback controllers with a static anti-windup compensator for a class of saturated systems with sector-bounded and slope-restricted nonlinearities. To handle the slope restriction, a so-called differential compensator is incorporated into the traditional nonlinear controller. Considering its sector-bounded property and convex-hull representation, respectively, two LMI-based synthesis methods are proposed to address the problems of the estimates of the region of attraction（ROA） and L2 performance analysis of the closed-loop system. A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.

Hydraulic calculation is a major path to the management of natural gas pipeline network. However, the investigated physical parameters of the pipes are usually obtained from blueprint or factory technical tests, which cause inaccurate hydraulic calculation result. Moreover, an initialization far from the root may cause nonconvergence or more computing cost of Newton’s Iteration for solving the hydraulic equations. In this paper, a data-driven hydraulic calculation method is proposed, where we make three major contributions.(i) A parameter estimation method is provided for adjustment to the parameters in each pipe.(ii) An initialization method using neural network is proposed to make an estimate for the root at a first glance to ensure the convergence.(iii) The numerical results show that the proposed data-driven parameter estimation corrects the parameter of the hydraulic equation and initialization method reduces time cost of the Newton’s Iteration.
