Language learning materials not only provide language input for learners but also subtly disseminate ideology and influence readers’*** study,based on the framework of ecological discourse analysis,quantitatively analyzes and qualitatively describes the ecological significance of environmental texts in the 21st *** aim is to provide references for the compilation of environmental discourse in language learning materials,promote the construction of more ecologically beneficial discourse,and facilitate the widespread dissemination of the ecological philosophy of“Diversity and Harmony,Interaction and Co-existence”among young *** initial findings of this study are as follows:In the environmental texts of the publication,a large number of relational processes and action processes are used to objectively represent the natural environment;the discourse tends to be ambiguous and beneficial,generally aligning with the ecological philosophy of“Diversity and Harmony,Interaction and Co-existence.”This can guide readers to correctly understand and face environmental issues,which is conducive to the healthy development of natural ecosystems.

Chinese non-English majors are a large group of English *** the process of English pronunciation acquisition,issues such as incomplete phonological knowledge,transfer of mother tongue,and overgeneralization,lead to confusion of phonemes and stress,misunderstanding of syllable structure,and errors of assimilation,drop,and *** accuracy of English pronunciation can only be improved by knowing both English and Chinese phonological systems,strengthening the teaching of English phonological knowledge,and adopting various phonological training activities.

A Comparative Study of Chinese and English Refusal Language Strategies

Using 80 short video examples about refusal language strategies on Douyin short videos as a corpus,this study explores the commonality and individuality,as well as the contradictory relationship between Chinese and British countries in the use of refusal language strategies by combining manual and graphical data *** is found that Chinese people use more indirect ways of using refusal speech acts,and British and American countries use more direct ways of using refusal speech *** addition to this,both Chinese and British countries use non-verbal behavior to reject speech as a way of protecting the positive face of the addressee and reducing the threatening behavior to the face of the other *** study also found that the ambivalent relationship between the emergence of refusal language strategies in both China and Britain is related to their personal psychological state,social values,and personal *** results of this study have some values for sociology as well as pragmatics,which is conducive to the maintenance of interpersonal relationships.

Due to the structural dependencies among concurrent events in the knowledge graph and the substantial amount of sequential correlation information carried by temporally adjacent events,we propose an Independent Recurrent Temporal Graph Convolution Networks(IndRT-GCNets)framework to efficiently and accurately capture event attribute *** framework models the knowledge graph sequences to learn the evolutionary represen-tations of entities and relations within each ***,by utilizing the temporal graph convolution module in the evolutionary representation unit,the framework captures the structural dependency relationships within the knowledge graph in each ***,to achieve better event representation and establish effective correlations,an independent recurrent neural network is employed to implement auto-regressive ***,static attributes of entities in the entity-relation events are constrained andmerged using a static graph constraint to obtain optimal entity ***,the evolution of entity and relation representations is utilized to predict events in the next subsequent *** multiple real-world datasets such as Freebase13(FB13),Freebase 15k(FB15K),WordNet11(WN11),WordNet18(WN18),FB15K-237,WN18RR,YAGO3-10,and Nell-995,the results of multiple evaluation indicators show that our proposed IndRT-GCNets framework outperforms most existing models on knowledge reasoning tasks,which validates the effectiveness and robustness.

Redundancy elimination techniques are extensively investigated to reduce storage overheads for cloud-assisted health *** eliminates the redundancy of duplicate blocks by storing one physical instance referenced by multiple *** compression is usually regarded as a complementary technique to deduplication to further remove the redundancy of similar blocks,but our observations indicate that this is disobedient when data have sparse duplicate *** addition,there are many overlapped deltas in the resemblance detection process of post-deduplication delta compression,which hinders the efficiency of delta compression and the index phase of resemblance detection inquires abundant non-similar blocks,resulting in inefficient system ***,a multi-feature-based redundancy elimination scheme,called MFRE,is proposed to solve these *** similarity feature and temporal locality feature are excavated to assist redundancy elimination where the similarity feature well expresses the duplicate ***,similarity-based dynamic post-deduplication delta compression and temporal locality-based dynamic delta compression discover more similar base blocks to minimise overlapped deltas and improve compression ***,the clustering method based on block-relationship and the feature index strategy based on bloom filters reduce IO overheads and improve system *** demonstrate that the proposed method,compared to the state-of-the-art method,improves the compression ratio and system throughput by 9.68%and 50%,respectively.

In the digital era,emojis have enriched the way people communicate and research on emojis explosively increased in recent ***,few noticed their functions from the neurocognitive perspective,especially their similarities and differences with facial expressions in traditional face-to-face *** fill this gap,we conducted a Meta-analysis with 25 independent effect sizes from previous experimental *** present study shows that emojis have slight advantages in processing efficiency,which might be attributed to their simplicity in design,namely the omission of complex facial features,but the difference between emoji and face processing is not *** addition,emotional valence and experimental methods do not have significant influences,which suggests that emojis are equally effective as human faces in emotional *** current research contributes to the knowledge in digital communication and the crucial role played by emojis therein.

Chinese language education exists in both Malaysia and Indonesia. The commonalities and individualities of the national conditions of both countries have an impact on their Chinese language education. The official languages scripts, and major beliefs of the two countries are quite similar, and under their influence, local Chinese have special expectations for Chinese language education. Compared to Indonesia, Malaysian Chinese have a larger proportion of the population and a tendency towards marriage, which to some extent is more conducive to the Chinese language education of local Chinese. Both countries’ national conditions and personalities have unfavorable factors for local Chinese language education.
