Studies showed that complexation of polyphenols with milk allergens reduced their immunogenic ***,the relationship between structures of polyphenols and their hypoallergenic effects on milk allergens in association with physiological and conformational changes of the complexes remain *** this study,polyphenols from eight botanical sources were extracted to prepare non-covalent complexes withβ-lactoglobulin(β-LG),a major allergen in *** dominant phenolic compounds bound toβ-LG with a diminished allergenicity were identified to investigate their respective role on the structural and allergenic properties ofβ-*** from Vaccinium fruits and black soybeans were found to have great inhibitory effects on the IgE-and IgG-binding abilities ofβ-*** the fourteen structure-related phenolic compounds,flavonoids and tannins with larger MWs and multi-hydroxyl substituents,notably rutin,EGCG,and ellagitannins were more potent to elicit changes on the conformational structures ofβ-LG to decrease the allergenicity of complexedβ-*** analysis further demonstrated that a destabilized secondary structure and protein depolymerization caused by polyphenol-binding were closely related to the allergenicity property of formed *** study provides insights into the understanding of structure-allergenicity relationship ofβ-LG-polyphenol interactions and would benefit the development of polyphenol-fortified matrices with hypoallergenic potential.

Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is one of the major global public health problems. Yeast extract (YE)， a product prepared from yeast， has been proven to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. However， the potential role of YE in the prevention of ALD remains unclear. The present study aimed to investigate the protective effects of YE on ALD and explore the underlying mechanism based on gut microbiota. The result showed that YE supplementation significantly ameliorated chronic alcohol exposure-induced liver injury in mice. In addition， YE counteracted alcohol-induced gut dysbiosis， intestinal barrier dysfunction， lipopolysaccharide (LPS) leakage-induced inflammatory response in the liver. Moreover， microbiota depletion by a broad-spectrum antibiotic was sufficient to block the protective effect of YE on ALD， indicating the contribution of gut dysbiosis modulation to the hepatoprotective role of YE. Furthermore， we demonstrated the causal relationship between gut microbiota and hepatoprotective effects of YE with the fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) experiment. Compared with the ALD-FMT mice， gut dysbiosis， intestinal barrier dysfunction， LPS/TLR4 signaling pathway activation， and liver inflammatory response were significantly improved in the YE-FMT mice. Together， our findings highlight that dietary YE protects against ALD through gut dysbiosis correction.

Probiotics have great potential in regulating intestinal *** this study,the effects of Lactobacillus plantarum AR495 on the visceral sensitivity and gut microbiota of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)rats were *** results showed that tryptase released after mast cell activation and degranulation plays a key role in visceral pain,and *** AR495 reduced the stimulation of colonic mast cells and the expression of protease-activated receptor 2(PAR2)and TRPV1 in dorsal root *** further showed that supplementation with *** AR495 increased the level of short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)and enhanced the barrier function of the *** addition,the microbiota analysis of the colon indicated that *** AR495 promoted the proliferation of Bifidobacterium and inhibited the proliferation of Lachnospiraceae,which alleviated the imbalance of the intestinal microbiota caused by IBS to a certain *** total,*** AR495 might reduce visceral sensitivity through the Mast cell-PAR2-TRPV1 signaling pathway by maintaining the homeostasis of the intestinal barrier.

Sorghum is theﬁfth most required cereal crop *** bicolor has the advantage of being adaptive to both lowland and dryland,with drought-tolerant and wide *** low nutrient availability in dryland requires additional effective fertilizers to increase sorghum *** research aimed to assess the appli-cation of organic,inorganic,and biofertilizers for sorghum productivity on *** in Central Java,Indonesia as dryland sorghum areas,from November 2022 to February *** experiment cooperates with the farmers in a split-plot design,the main plot was two varieties and subplots of four *** enhanced sorghum yield(21.38%–36.06%)with combined fertilizer was greater than the existing *** con-trol does not rely on inorganic fertilizers but also on applying *** sorghum farming economic value farming indicated that combinations of fertilizer treatments and varieties provide beneﬁts of USD 929.81–1955.81 with a revenue-cost ratio(R/C)value>*** is an essential food commodity that faces the threat of the global crisis and an unfavorable *** study indicated balanced fertilizers could provide sufﬁ-cient nutrients to the soil and increase nutrient absorption availability for sorghum growth and *** fertilization increases the uptake of N,P,and K nutrients correlates with an increase in yield of 21.38%–36.06%.

In this research we investigate the association between local state capacity(LSC)and effective tax burdens(ETBs)on industrial firms within counties between 1998 and *** LSC measures a state's capacity for policy implementation and specifically its ability to acquire low-cost agricultural land for nonagricultural(industrial or commercial)*** on China's government-led development experience since the 1990s,we draw on two unique household survey datasets to capture LSC at county *** find robust evidence that greater LSC was associated with much lower ETBs on large industrial *** taxation pattern implies local government's primary reliance on larger manufacturing firms,while the ETBs for small-and-medium enterprises are not as prominently *** research highlights that LSC can affect both the amount of revenue a local government can generate and the methods it uses to collect these revenues.

Highland barley(HB)is a high-altitude cereal with rich nutritional components and potential health *** clarify its hypoglycemic effect and mechanism,we investigated the effect of whole grain HB and fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)on glucose metabolism and gut microbiota in high-fat diet and streptozotocin(HFD/STZ)-induced diabetic *** results showed that HB(40%)significantly decreased fasting blood glucose and the area under the glucose tolerance curve,significantly increased insulin secretion and improved insulin resistance in HFD/STZ-induced diabetic mice(P<0.05).Inflammatory factors and blood lipid indices were also significantly alleviated after 12 weeks of 40%HB intervention(P<0.05).Additionally,beneficial bacteria,such as Bifidobacterium and Akkermansia,were significantly enriched in the gut of diabetic mice after whole grain HB ***,the results of further FMT experiments verified that the fecal microbiota after the 40%HB intervention not only significantly increased the relative abundance of Bifidobacterium and Akkermansia but also effectively improved glucose metabolism and alleviated the inflammatory state in HFD/STZ-induced diabetic ***,our study confirmed the bridge role of gut microbiota in improving glucose metabolism of whole grain HB,which could promote the development of precision nutrition.
