Based on the designed As2Se3 and As2S3 chalcogenide glass photonic crystal fiber（PCF） and the scalar nonlinear Schrdinger equation,the effects of pump power and wavelength on modulation instability（MI） gain are comprehensively studied in the abnormal dispersion regime of chalcogenide glass *** to high Raman effect and high nonlinearity,ultra-broadband MI gain is obtained in chalcogenide glass *** choosing the appropriate pump parameter,the MI gain bandwidth reaches 2738 nm for the As2Se3 glass PCF in the abnormal-dispersion region,while it is 1961 nm for the As2S3 glass PCF.

The simulation of the East Asian winter monsoon （EAWM） has been a challenge for climate models. In this study, the performances of two versions of the AGCM developed at the lAP, versions 1 and 2 of the Grid-point Atmospheric Model of the IAP/LASG （GAMIL1 and GAMIL2）, are evaluated in the context of mean state and interannual variation. Significant improvements are shown for GAMIL2 in comparison to GAMIL1. The simulated interannual variability of the EAWM, measured by the regional average of 1000 hPa meridional wind over East Asia, has evidently improved; the correlation coefficient with reanalysis data changes from 0.37 in GAMIL1 to 0.71 in GAMIL2. The associated interannual precipitation anomalies are also improved, in terms of both spatial pattern and magnitude. Analysis demonstrates that the improvements result from the better simulation of the El Nino-related Philippine Sea anticyclone （PSAC） in GAMIL2. The improved moist processes, including the stratiform condensation and evaporation in GAMIL2, lead to a reasonable atmospheric heating associated with El Nitro in the tropical Pacific, which further drives the PSAC as a Rossby- wave response.

This paper presents a property attestation protocol for the security chip TCM (trusted cryptographic module) via analyzing the problems of the current property attestation, which is built on the property attestation model with the online trust third party. In the protocol the prover utilizes the zero-knowledge proof by the attribute certificates, configuration commitment and TCM signature, and attests its configuration and status which are compliant with the declarative security property. The protocol is characterized by shorter signature length and lower computations. The security of the protocol is proved at the random oracle model. The protocol can help extend application and improve standard for security chip TCM, and it also has practical value and immediate significance.

Improved monochromatic pyrometry for synchronous measurement of full-field temperature and deformation

Measuring the temperature and deformation synchronously at elevated temperatures is technically challenging and has become a major concern in the evaluation of mechanical properties. In this study, a simple, easy-to-implement, yet effective monochromatic pyrometry is established for non-contact and full-field temperature measurements, which can significantly reduce the error caused by the camera’s channel crosstalk that commonly occurs in the existing improved two-color method. In addition, hightemperature digital image correlation, combined with band-pass filtering and monochromatic illumination, is applied for deformation measurement. Subsequently, an experimental system was set up to validate the accuracy of the proposed method,which consists of a CCD camera for image capturing, a blue bandpass filter for radiation suppression, blue light irradiation for light compensation, and an infrared pyrometer for temperature recording. The results of the thermal heating experiment on the C/SiC sample proved that the selection of camera channel R in monochromatic pyrometry can reduce the error by channel crosstalk,and the proposed method is applicable for synchronous measurement of temperature and deformation.

Marine fouling is a worldwide challenge with huge damages on industrial structures,side effects on economics of industries,and environmental and safety-related *** approaches have been used for combating fouling in the marine ***,nanocomposite polymer coatings are a novel generation of antifouling coatings with merits of toxin-free chemical composition and ease of large-scale *** such as nano-metals,nano-metal oxides,metal-organic frameworks,carbon-based nanostructures,MXene,and nanoclays have antibacterial and antifouling properties in the polymer ***,these nanomaterials can improve the corrosion resistance,mechanical strength,weathering stability,and thermal resistance of the polymer ***,in this review paper,the antifouling nanocomposite coatings are introduced and antifouling mechanisms are *** review explicitly indicates that the antifouling efficiency of the nanocomposite coatings depends on the properties of the polymer matrix,the inherent properties of the nanomaterials,the weight percent and the dispersion method of the nanomaterials within the coating matrix,and the chemicals used for modifying the surface of the nanomaterials;meanwhile,the hybrids of different nanomaterials and appropriate chemical agents could be used to improve the antifouling behavior of the prepared ***,the theoretical studies are introduced to pave the way of researchers working on theantifouling coatings,and the importance of the theoretical studies and computational modeling along with the experimental research is notified to develop antifouling coatings with high efficiency.

The filamentation instability was observed in the interaction of two counter-streaming laser ablated plasma flows, which were supersonic, collisionless, and also closely relevant to astrophysical conditions. The plasma flows were created by irradiating a pair of oppositely standing plastic （CH） foils with Ins-pulsed laser beams of total energy of 1.7 kJ in two laser spots. With characteristics diagnosed in experiments, the calculated features of Weibel-type filaments are in good agreement with measurements.

Plants synthesize and accumulate large amount of specialized （or secondary） metabolites also known as natural products, which provide a rich source for modem pharmacy. In China, plants have been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Recent development of molecular biology, genomics and functional genomics as well as high-throughput analytical chemical technologies has greatly promoted the research on medicinal plants. In this article, we review recent advances in the elucidation of biosynthesis of specialized metabolites in medicinal plants, including phenylpropanoids, terpenoids and alkaloids. Th- ese natural products may share a common upstream path- way to form a limited numbers of common precursors, but are characteristic in distinct modifications leading to highly variable structures. Although this review is focused on traditional chinese medicine, other plants with a great medicinal interest or potential are also discussed. Under- standing of their biosynthesis processes is critical for producing these highly value molecules at large scale and low cost in microbes and will benefit to not only human health but also plant resource conservation.

Along with the consumption increase of the petroleum products, more countries have transferred their attentions to the offshore fields, especially the deepwater oil and gas reserves. For deepwater exploitation, the risers must be installed to act as the conduits connecting surface platforms to subsea facilities. In this paper, the typical risers sorted by different classes are introduced, and the correspondent installation methods are presented. By investigating the recent projects performed in the deepwater hot spots, and combining the challenges of HYSY20 l for riser installation, a lifting device developed for assisting riser installation is proposed and detailed to satisfy the installation of deepwater risers in the LW3-1 Gas Field of 1500 m in the South China Sea. Tests on both the functions and performances of such a new system exhibit the satisfaction of meeting all challenging requirements of HYSY201 for application to riser installation in waters up to a depth of 3000 m in the South China Sea.
