Introduction Sepsis is a common complication following infections,burns,trauma,and major operations and has become the main cause of death in non-coronary intensive care *** was the most common reason for hospitalization(except in live born infants)in 2017,with 48.9 million cases reported worldwide.[1]A study found that sepsis led to 11.0 million deaths(which represented 19.7%of all global deaths)and has required the expenditure of 38.2 billion dollars for medical care.

In this work,laser induced tungsten plasma has been investigated in the absence and presence of 0.6 T static transverse magnetic field at atmospheric pressure in *** spectroscopic characterization of laser induced tungsten plasma was experimentally studied using space-resolved emission *** atomic emission lines of tungsten showed a significant enhancement in the presence of a magnetic field,while the ionic emission lines of tungsten presented little *** variation of the optical emission lines of tungsten indicated that the atomic emission time in the presence of a magnetic field was longer than that in the absence of a magnetic field,while no significant changes occurred for the ionic emission *** spatial resolution of optical emission lines of tungsten demonstrated that the spatial distribution of atoms and ions were *** influence of a magnetic field on the spatial distribution of atoms was remarkable,whereas the spatial distribution of ions was little influenced by the magnetic *** different behaviors between ions and atoms with and without magnetic field in air were related to the various atomic processes especially the electrons and ions recombination process during the plasma expansion and cooling process.

We present a photoacoustic imaging system with a linear transducer array scanning in limited-view felds and develop a combined reconstruction algorithm, which is a combination of the limited-field filtered back projection （LFBP） algorithm and the simultaneous iterative reconstruction technique （SIRT） algorithm, to reconstruct the optical absorption distribution. In this algorithm, the LFBP algorithm is exploited to reconstruct the original photoacoustic image, and then the SIRT algorithm is used to improve the quality of the final reconstructed photoacoustic image. Numerical simulations with calculated incomplete data validate the reliability of this algorithm and the reconstructed experimental results further demonstrate that the combined reconstruction algorithm effectively reduces the artifacts and blurs and yields better quality of reconstruction image than that with the LFBP algorithm.

Undesirable self-excited chatter has always been a typical issue restricting the improvement of robotic milling quality and *** chatter identification based on processing signals can prompt operators to adjust the machining process and prevent chatter *** with the traditional machine tool,the uncertain multiple chatter frequency bands and the band-moving of the chatter frequency in robotic milling process make it more challenging to extract chatter *** paper proposes a novel method of chatter identification using optimized variational mode decomposition(OVMD)with multi-band information fusion and compression technology(MT).During the robotic milling process,the number of decomposed modes k and the penalty coefficient a are optimized based on the dominant component of frequency scope partition and fitness of the mode center ***,the mayfly optimization algorithm(MA)is employed to obtain the global optimal parameter *** order to conquer information collection about the uncertain multiple chatter frequency bands and the band-moving of the chatter frequency in robotic milling process,MT is presented to reduce computation and extract signal ***,the cross entropy of the image(CEI)is proposed as the final chatter indicator to identify the chatter *** robotic milling experiments are carried out to verify the proposed method,and the results show that it can distinguish the robotic milling condition by extracting the uncertain multiple chatter frequency bands and overcome the band-moving of the chatter frequency in robotic milling process.

Efficient metal recovery from industrial wastewater facilitates addressing of the environmental hazards and resource requirements of heavy *** conventional electrodeposition recovery method is hampered by the limitations of interfacial ion transport in charge-transfer reactions,creating challenges for simultaneous rapid and high-quality metal ***,we proposed integrating a transient electric field(TE)and swirling flow(SF)to synchronously enhance bulk mass transfer and promote interfacial ion *** investigated the effects of the operation mode,transient frequency,and flow rate on metal recovery,enabling determination of the optimal operating conditions for rapid and efficient sequential recovery of Cu in TE&SF *** conditions included low and high electric levels of 0 and 4 V,a 50%duty cycle,1 kHz frequency,and 400 L·h^(-1)flow *** kinetic coefficients of TE&SF electrodeposition were 3.5-4.3 and 1.37-1.97 times that of single TE and SF electrodeposition,*** the deposition process under TE and SF conditions confirmed the efficient concurrence of interfacial ion transport and charge transfer under TE and SF synergy,which achieved rapid and highquality metal ***,the combined deposition strategy is considered an effective technique for reducing metal pollution and promoting resource recycling.

BackgroundEmerging evidence suggests that minimal acute kidney injury (stage 1 AKI) is associated with increased hospital mortality rates. However, for those who do not meet the AKI diagnostic criteria, whether a small increase in serum creatinine (SCr) levels is associated with an increased mortality rate in elderly patients is not known. Therefore, we aimed to investigate small elevations in SCr of center cohort study enrolling consecutive elderly patients (≥75 years) who received invasive MV from January 2008 to December 2020. Recursive partitioning was used to calculate the ratio of SCr rise from baseline within 48 h after MV and divided into six groups, (1) <10%, (2) 10%–<20%, (3) 20%–<30%, (4) 30%–<40%, (5) 40%–<50%, and (6) ≥50%, where the reference interval was defined as the ratio <10% based on an analysis, which confirmed that the lowest mortality risk was found in this range. Clinical data and laboratory data were noted. Their general conditions and clinical characteristics were compared between the six groups. Prognostic survival factors were identified using Cox regression analysis. Kaplan–Meier survival analysis was employed for the accumulative survival *** total of 1292 patients (1171 men) with a median age of 89 (interquartile range: 85–92) with MV were suitable for further analysis. In all, 376 patients had any stage of early AKI, and 916 patients had no AKI. Among 916 non-AKI patients, 349 patients were in the ratio <10%, 291 in the 10%–<20% group, 169 in the 20%–<30% group, 68 in the 30%–<40% group, 25 in the 40%–<50% group, and 14 in the ≥50% group. The 28-day mortality rates in the six groups from the lowest (<10%) to the highest (≥50%) were 8.0%, 16.8%, 28.4%, 54.4%, 80.0%, and 85.7%, respectively. In the multivariable-adjusted a

Microstructural evolution and the change in hardness during creep deformation of NF709 austenitic stainless steel were investigated. Creep tests were carried out at 650 ℃ for 2932 h under a load of 210 MPa for comparison with aging specimen at 650 ℃ for 3000 h. The hardness results indicated that applied stress during creep process induced hardness increase. Analysis of longitudinal section microstructure showed that the creep damage caused by pores and the grain boundary hardening caused by elongated grains could be the factors leading to hardness differences. The C phase dispersedly precipitated in intragranular and interacted with dislocations during creep process, indicating strain hardening.
