Artificial synapse inspired by the biological brain has great potential in the field of neuromorphic computing and artificial *** memristor is an ideal artificial synaptic device with fast operation and good ***,we have prepared a memristor device with Au/CsPbBr_(3)/ITO *** memristor device exhibits resistance switching behavior,the high and low resistance states no obvious decline after 400 switching *** memristor device is stimulated by voltage pulses to simulate biological synaptic plasticity,such as long-term potentiation,long-term depression,pair-pulse facilitation,short-term depression,and short-term *** transformation from short-term memory to long-term memory is achieved by changing the stimulation *** addition,a convolutional neural network was constructed to train/recognize MNIST handwritten data sets;a distinguished recognition accuracy of~96.7%on the digital image was obtained in 100 epochs,which is more accurate than other memristor-based neural *** results show that the memristor device based on CsPbBr3 has immense potential in the neuromorphic computing system.

The Indonesian Throughflow(ITF), which connects the tropical Pacific and Indian oceans, plays important roles in the inter-ocean water exchange and regional or even global climate variability. The Makassar Strait is the main inflow passage of the ITF, carrying about 77% of the total ITF volume transport. In this study, we analyze the simulated ITF in the Makassar Strait in the Simple Ocean data Assimilation version 3(SODA3) datasets. A total of nine ensemble members of the SODA3 datasets, of which are driven by different surface forcings and bulk formulas, and with or without data assimilation, are used in this study. The annual mean water transports(i.e.,volume, heat and freshwater) are related to the combination of surface forcing and bulk formula, as well as whether data assimilation is employed. The phases of the seasonal and interannual variability in water transports cross the Makassar Strait, are basically consistent with each other among the SODA3 ensemble members. The interannual variability in Makassar Strait volume and heat transports are significantly correlated with El Ni?oSouthern Oscillation(ENSO) at time lags of-6 to 7 months. There is no statistically significant correlation between the freshwater transport and the ENSO. The Makassar Strait water transports are not significantly correlated with the Indian Ocean Dipole(IOD), which may attribute to model deficiency in simulating the propagation of semiannual Kelvin waves from the Indian Ocean to the Makassar Strait.

Vaccines have been the primary remedy in the global fight against coronavirus disease 2019（COVID-19）.The receptor-binding domain（RBD） of the spike protein, a critical viral immunogen, is affected by the heterogeneity of its glycan structures and relatively low immunogenicity. Here, we describe a scalable synthetic platform that enables the precise synthesis of homogeneously glycosylated RBD, facilitating the elucidation of carbohydrate structure–function relationships. Five homogeneously glycosylated RBDs bearing biantennary glycans were prepared, three of which were conjugated to T-helper epitope(Tpep) from tetanus toxoid to improve their weak immune response. Relative to natural HEK293-derived RBD, synthetic RBDs with biantennary N-glycan elicited a higher level of neutralising antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in mice. Furthermore, RBDs containing Tpepelicited significant immune responses in transgenic mice expressing human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. Our collective data suggest that trimming the N-glycans and Tpepconjugation of RBD could potentially serve as an effective strategy for developing subunit vaccines providing efficient protection.

Distribution and abundance of krill in various areas of the Southern Ocean: dataset compilation based on samples collected in CHINARE during 2009–2019

This study investigates the composition, abundance, and basic biological parameters of krill in Prydz Bay, the Antarctic Peninsula and the Amundsen Sea by analyzing samples and environmental data from the Chinese National Antarctic Research Expeditions conducted between 2009/2010 and 2019/2020. The predominant krill species observed were Euphausia superba, Euphausia crystallorophias, and Thysanoessa macrura. T. macrura, although the most widespread, exhibited the lowest mean abundance(9.96 ind·(1000 m–3)) and biomass(0.31 g·(1000 m–3)), predominantly found in low-latitude regions of the Amundsen Sea while E. crystallorophias was most concentrated in polynyas of Prydz Bay. E. superba, with an average abundance of 34.05 ind·(1000 m–3)and biomass of 11.80 g·(1000 m–3), was mainly distributed in the Antarctic Peninsula and Prydz Bay. This study also identified regional variations in mean body length and frequency distributions of krill. The relationship between krill body length and wet weight followed a power-law pattern. Regional differences were observed in the relationship between krill abundance, biomass, and environmental factors with varying correlations. In the Amundsen Sea, no significant correlation was found between krill abundance and environmental factors. Notably, E. crystallorophias in Prydz Bay demonstrated a significant positive correlation with chlorophyll-a concentration,while T. macrura abundance and biomass in the Antarctic Peninsula exhibited a significant negative correlation with ice-free days. The findings contribute valuable regional data on krill distribution, abundance, and biomass in the Southern Ocean, serving as foundational information for the conservation of the Southern Ocean ecosystem and Antarctic krill fishery management on a circumpolar scale.

As the brightest gamma-ray burst ever observed,GRB 221009A provided a precious opportunity to explore spectral line *** this article,we performed a comprehensive spectroscopy analysis of GRB 221009A jointly with GECAM-C and Fermi/GBM data to search for emission and absorption *** the first time we investigated the line feature throughout this GRB including the most bright part where many instruments suffered problems,and identified prominent emission lines in multiple time *** central energy of the Gaussian emission line evolves from about 37 to 6 MeV,with a nearly constant ratio(about 10%)between the line width and central ***,we find that both the central energy and the energy flux of the emission line evolve with time as a power law decay with power law index of–1 and–2,*** suggest that the observed emission lines most likely origin from the blue-shifted electron positron pair annihilation 511 ke V *** find that a standard high latitude emission scenario cannot fully interpret the observation,thus we propose that the emission line comes from some dense clumps with electron positron pairs traveling together with the *** this scenario,we can use the emission line to directly,for the first time,measure the bulk Lorentz factor of the jet(Γ)and reveal its time evolution(i.e.,Γ~t^(-1))during the prompt ***,we find that the flux of the annihilation line in the co-moving frame keeps *** discoveries of the spectral line features shed new and important lights on the physics of GRB and relativistic jet.

With the development of the transportation industry, the effective guidance of aircraft in an emergency to prevent catastrophic accidents remains one of the top safety concerns. Undoubtedly, operational status data of the aircraft play an important role in the judgment and command of the Operational Control center(OCC). However, how to transmit various operational status data from abnormal aircraft back to the OCC in an emergency is still an open problem. In this paper, we propose a novel Telemetry, Tracking,and Command(TT&C) architecture named Collaborative TT&C(CoTT&C) based on mega-constellation to solve such a problem. CoTT&C allows each satellite to help the abnormal aircraft by sharing TT&C resources when needed, realizing real-time and reliable aeronautical communication in an emergency. Specifically, we design a dynamic resource sharing mechanism for CoTT&C and model the mechanism as a single-leader-multi-follower Stackelberg game. Further, we give an unique Nash Equilibrium(NE) of the game as a closed form. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed resource sharing mechanism is effective, incentive compatible, fair, and reciprocal. We hope that our findings can shed some light for future research on aeronautical communications in an emergency.

Infectious diseases caused by arboviruses are a public health concern in ***,studies on data prevalence and threats posed by arboviruses are *** study investigated the seroprevalence of arboviruses in a healthy population in Pakistan,including severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus(SFTSV),Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus(CCHFV),Tamdy virus(TAMV),and Karshi virus(KSIV)based on a newly established luciferase immunoprecipitation system(LIPS)assays,and Zika virus(ZIKV)by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA).Neutralizing activities against these arboviruses were further examined from the antibody positive *** results showed that the seroprevalence of SFTSV,CCHFV,TAMV,KSIV,and ZIKV was 17.37%,7.58%,4.41%,1.10%,and 6.48%,respectively,and neutralizing to SFTSV(1.79%),CCHFV(2.62%),and ZIKV(0.69%)were identified,as well as to the SFTSV-related Guertu virus(GTV,0.83%).Risk factors associated with the incidence of exposure and levels of antibody response were ***,co-exposure to different arboviruses was demonstrated,as thirty-seven individuals were having antibodies against multiple viruses and thirteen showed neutralizing ***,individuals aged40 years,and outdoor workers had a high risk of exposure to *** these results reveal the substantial risks of infection with arboviruses in Pakistan,and indicate the threat from co-exposure to multiple *** findings raise the need for further epidemiologic investigation in expanded regions and populations and the necessity to improve health surveillance in Pakistan.

Genome-scale mRNA and miRNA transcriptomic insights into the regulatory mechanism of cucumber corolla opening

‘Corollas and spines’ is an important trait for fresh market cucumber. In a unique cucumber line, ‘6457’, the super ovary is much larger and corolla opening is delayed by 4–5 days, thus the resulting fruit has a flower that remains on the tip,which has a high commodity value. In this study, to better understand the molecular basis of corolla opening, mRNA and miRNA transcriptome analyses were performed during corolla development of the super and normal ovaries. A total of 234 differentially expressed miRNAs(DEMs) and 291 differentially expressed target genes(DE-target genes) were identified from four developmental stages, and the greatest number of DEMs was found at the yellow bud stage. Thirty of the DE-target genes were regulated by more than five DEMs, among which, CsHD-Zip was regulated by 28 DEMs,followed by DD2X(18). In addition, the expression patterns of miRNA_104, miRNA_157, miRNA_349, miRNA_242, and miRNA_98 were similar during corolla development, and they shared the same target gene, CsCuRX. Moreover, several critical candidate DEMs and DE-target genes were characterized and profiled by a qRT-PCR experiment. Three of the miRNAs, miRNA_157-CsCuRX, miRNA_411-CsGH3.6, and miRNA_161/297/257-CsHD-Zip, might be responsible for corolla opening in the cucumber super ovary. This integrated study on the transcriptional and post-transcriptional profiles can provide insights into the molecular regulatory mechanism underlying corolla opening in the cucumber.
