Background: Carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) and diameter, stiffness, and wave reflections, are independent and important clinical biomarkers and risk predictors for cardiovascular diseases. The purpose of the present study was to establish nationwide reference values of carotid properties for healthy Chinese adults and to explore potential clinical ***: A total of 3053 healthy Han Chinese adults (1922 women) aged 18-79 years were enrolled at 28 collaborating tertiary centers throughout China between April 2021 and July 2022. The real-time tracking of common carotid artery walls was achieved by the radio frequency (RF) ultrasound system. The IMT, diameter, compliance coefficient, β stiffness, local pulse wave velocity (PWV), local systolic blood pressure, augmented pressure (AP), and augmentation index (AIx) were then automatically measured and reported. Data were stratified by age groups and sex. The relationships between age and carotid property parameters were analyzed by Jonckheere-Terpstra test and simple linear regressions. The major clinical determinants of carotid properties were identified by Pearson’s correlation, multiple linear regression, and analyses of ***: All the parameters of carotid properties demonstrated significantly age-related trajectories. Women showed thinner IMT, smaller carotid diameter, larger AP, and AIx than men. The β stiffness and PWV were significantly higher in men than women before forties, but the differences reversed after that. The increase rate of carotid IMT (5.5 μm/year in women and 5.8 μm/year in men) and diameter (0.03 mm/year in both men and women) were similar between men and women. Analysis of the Prevalence Characteristics of Lung Nodules and Their Influencing Factors in The Health Check-Up Population

Objective: To study the prevalence characteristics of pulmonary nodules and their influencing factors in the health check-up population. Methods: A total of 500 cases of health checkups were selected for the data study to analyze the detection and prevalence characteristics of pulmonary nodules. The influencing factors between the pulmonary nodules group and the no pulmonary nodules group were analyzed. Results: A total of 209 cases were detected, of which there were more males than females, and for female patients, the detection rate increased with age (P stribution of gender, age, smoking, respiratory symptoms, and exposure to kitchen fumes between the two groups was compared (P sis concluded that risk factors include, respiratory symptoms, older age, exposure to kitchen fumes, and smoking. In addition, patients who exercised more had a lower risk of developing lung nodules. Conclusion: The detection rate of pulmonary nodules was high in the health check-up population and the influencing factors analyzed involved the presence of respiratory symptoms, older age, kitchen fume exposure, and smoking, while the positive influencing factor was increased exercise.

Investigation and Analysis of Lung Cancer Risk Factors in the Health Check-Up Population

Objective: To investigate and analyze the risk factors of lung cancer in the population of health checkups. Methods: A total of 500 cases of the health check-up population were selected for data study. surveyed showed that 19 cases of lung cancer were grouped as the lung cancer group and the remaining 481 cases made up the control group, and the risk factors were analyzed. Results: Among men, there was a significant proportion of individuals aged 60-69 years old, and women aged 30-39 years old. Additionally, individuals aged 60 and above were at increased risk of developing lung cancer. The results of the multifactorial analysis were that the risk factors affecting the detection of lung cancer in healthy people were smoking history, family history of lung cancer, secondhand smoke, history of respiratory diseases, psychosomatic factors, living environment, and kitchen fumes. Conclusion: People over 60 years of age were prone to early lung cancer, followed by individuals aged 30-39 years. It is important to identify the risk factors of lung cancer to strengthen the screening of high-risk groups for early detection and treatment.

Objective:To statistically determine the effect of salvia polyphenolates combined with doxophylline treatment in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease in the compensated ***:From January 2023 to January 2024,76 patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease in the compensated stage were selected as research *** patients were divided into a research group and a reference group using a randomized numerical table *** research group was treated with salvia polyphenolates combined with doxophylline,while the reference group received conventional *** treatment effects of the two groups were ***:The patients in the research group,treated with salvia polyphenolates combined with doxophylline,showed maximal ventilation of 73.26±4.83 L/min,left ventricular ejection fraction of 56.14±1.98%,and total effective treatment rate of 94.74%.These results were better than those of the reference *** differences between the data of the research group and the reference group were statistically significant(Psion:For patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease in the compensated stage,treatment with salvia polyphenolates combined with doxophylline significantly improves maximum ventilation and left ventricular ejection fraction,and also results in a higher total effective treatment rate.

Mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase 1 protects PC12 cells from amyloid beta-induced neurotoxicity

The mitogen-activated protein kinase（MAPK） signaling pathway plays an important role in the regulation of cell growth, proliferation, differentiation, transformation and death. Mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase 1（MKP1） has an inhibitory effect on the p38 MAPK and JNK pathways, but it is unknown whether it plays a role in Aβ-induced oxidative stress and neuronal inflammation. In this study, PC12 cells were infected with MKP1 sh RNA, MKP1 lentivirus or control lentivirus for 12 hours, and then treated with 0.1, 1, 10 or 100 μM amyloid beta 42（Aβ42）. The cell survival rate was measured using the cell counting kit-8 assay. MKP1, tumor necrosis factor-alpha（TNF-α） and interleukin-1β（IL-1β） m RNA expression levels were analyzed using quantitative real time-polymerase chain reaction. MKP1 and phospho-c-Jun N-terminal kinase（JNK） expression levels were assessed using western blot assay. Reactive oxygen species（ROs） levels were detected using 2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein diacetate. Mitochondrial membrane potential was measured using flow cytometry. superoxide dismutase activity and malondialdehyde levels were evaluated using the colorimetric method. Lactate dehydrogenase activity was measured using a microplate reader. Caspase-3 expression levels were assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Apoptosis was evaluated using the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase d UTP nick end labeling method. MKP1 overexpression inhibited Aβ-induced JNK phosphorylation and the increase in ROs levels. It also suppressed the Aβ-induced increase in TNF-α and IL-1β levels as well as apoptosis in PC12 cells. In contrast, MKP1 knockdown by RNA interference aggravated Aβ-induced oxidative stress, inflammation and cell damage in PC12 cells. Furthermore, the JNK-specific inhibitor sP600125 abolished this effect of MKP1 knockdown on Aβ-induced neurotoxicity. 目的系统评价心血管疾病患者运动恐惧评估工具的测量学特性及方法学质量,为医护人员选择高质量的评估工具提供参考。方法系统检索Embase、the Cochrane *** of science、中国知网、万方数据库、中国生物医学文献数据库、CINAHL和维普数据库中有关心血管疾病患者运动恐惧量表测量属性的研究,检索时限为建库至2023年4月1日,并追溯纳人文献的参考文献以补充相关文献。两名研究员按照纳人排除标准,独立筛选文献、提取数据,并使用COsMIN偏倚风险检查表独立评估量表的方法学质量,使用COsMIN标准评估量表评价测量学特性,使用改良版定量系统评价证据分级评估证据等级。结果共纳人17项研究,对6个心血管疾病患者运动恐惧评估工具(包含不同语言版本)的心理测量学特性进行了评价,仅有2项研究报告的量表内容效度方法学质量为很好,其余研究报告的量表内容效度方法学质量为模糊。关于跨文化有效性/测量不变性、测量误差和反应性的信息较少。瑞典语版及中文版坦帕运动恐惧症量表(the Tampa scale for Kinesiophobia Heart,TsK Heart)为A类推荐,其他工具为B类推荐。结论现有研究中报告的瑞典语版和中文版TsKHeart的方法学及测量学属性质量相对较高,可被推荐使用,其余量表的测量学特性有待进--步验证。

Clinical significance of a Rise in AFP in Lung Adenocarcinoma Patients with Liver Metastasis:One Case Report and Literatures Review

IntroductionUsually the alpha fetoprotein （AFP） concentration of patients with metastatic liver cancer is slightly raised. Most of the levels are lower than 400 ug/L. Following biopsies of lung and liver neoplasms, one patient with a clinical diagnosis of lung cancer plus liver metastasis was pathologically diagnosed having an adenocarcinoma. His serum AFP value was 100-300 times the normal value. In order to further explore the clinical significance of an elevation of the AFP level in patients with lung adenocarcinoma plus liver metastasis, and to precisely distinguish a simple liver metastasis from lung adenocarcinoma or from lung hepatoid adenocarcinoma （HAC）, a clinical analysis of the patient, and a literature review was conducted.

Parkinson＇s disease （PD）, a complex neurodegenerative disease, is characterized by the loss of dopamine neurons in the substantia nigra ot the midbraln. PD patients have varying degrees of cognitive impairment （CI） that we term PD-CI. However, the etiology of these changes remains unexplained. We chose three Uygur male patients with PD-CI and three healthy controls of the same of nationality and sex to explore the pathogenesis of Xinjiang Uygur PD-CI using microarray-based gene expression profiling of monocytes.
