The solid solution and aging treatment for conventional manufacturing processes might not be suitable for laser additive manufactured titanium alloys due to the different lamellar *** this study,the influence of aging temperatures(600,700 and 800°C)on microstructure and mechanical properties of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-2V-1.5Mo-0.5Zr-0.3Si was *** results indicate that after solid solution treatment at 970°C followed by water quenching,the alloy mainly consists of coarsening lamellar a phase in martensite α' *** at 600°C will not change the size of primary lamellar α phase but lead to huge amount of secondary a phases(α_(s))generating with very fine *** increasing the aging temperature,the number of α_(s) decreases but with coarsened *** aged at 800°C,the width of the asphase reaches 350 nm,almost 7 times wider than that aged at 600°*** changing size of α_(s) obviously influences the property of the *** fine α_(s) leads to high strength and microhardness but low plasticity,and specimen aged at 700°C with suitable assize has the best comprehensive properties.

The kinetics of forming process of pulse current anodized film on AZ91D Mg alloy was studied by the voltage-time and thickness-time *** surface morphology,structure,elemental constitution and valences of the anodic films were analyzed by SEM,EDS,XPS and XRD *** results show that the film-forming process can be divided into four *** of a dense layer before sparking is the first *** of a porous layer accompanied with slight sparking is the second *** third stage is characterized by fast growth of the porous layer accompanied with more intensive *** fourth stage starts after the sparking process becomes even more vigorous and the pores become large.

The objective of this investigation is to study the influence of vanadium（5.0wt%–10.0wt%） and chromium（0–9.0wt%） on the microstructure and hardness of Cr-V-Mn-Ni white cast irons with spheroidal vanadium carbides. The alloys＇ microstructural features are presented and discussed with regard to the distribution of phase elements. The structural constituents of the alloys are spheroidal VC, proeutectoid cementite, ledeburite eutectic, rosette-shaped carbide eutectic（based on M7C3）, pearlite, martensite, and austenite. Their combinations and area fraction（AF） ratios are reported to be influenced by the alloys＇ chemical composition. Spheroidized VC particles are found to be sites for the nucleation of carbide eutectics. Cr and V are shown to substitute each other in the VC and M7C3 carbides, respectively. Chromium alloying leads to the formation of a eutectic（γ-Fe ＋ М7С3）, preventing the appearance of proeutectoid cementite in the structure. Vanadium and chromium are revealed to increase the total carbide fraction and the amount of austenite in the matrix. Cr is observed to play a key role in controlling the metallic matrix microstructure.

Flexibility of the CSIR-RCS, induction stirring with simultaneous air cooling process, in combination with high pressure die casting is successfully demonstrated by semi-solid rheocasting of plates performed on commercial 2024, 6082 and 7075 wrought aluminum alloys. Tensile properties were measured for the above mentioned rheocast wrought aluminum alloys in the T6 condition. The results showed that tensile properties were close to or even in some cases exceeded the minimum specifications. The yield strength and elongation of rheocast 2024-T6 exceeded the minimum requirements of the wrought alloy in the T6 condition but the ultimate tensile strength achieved only 90% of the specification because the Mg content of the starting alloy was below the commercial alloy specification. The strengths of rheocast 6082-T6 exceeded all of the wrought alloy T6 strength targets but the elongation only managed 36% of the required minimum due to porosity, caused by incipient melting during solution heat treatment, and the presence of fine intermetallie needles in the eutectic. The yield strength of rheocast 7075 exceeded the required one and the ultimate tensile strength also managed 97% of the specification; while the elongation only reached 46% of the minimum requirement also due to incipient melting porosity caused during the solution heat treatment process.

The corrosion mechanism of the as-cast Mg-5Y-7Gd-1Nd-0.5Zr magnesium alloy immersed in 5%NaCl aqueous solution was investigated by electrochemical test and *** electrochemical results indicate that the corrosion resistance of Mg-5Y-7Gd-1Nd-0.5Zr alloy in 5%NaCl aqueous solution gradually deteriorates with immersion time increasing from 2 h,24 h,60 h,to 108 h,which is consistent with the SEM observation of corrosion *** Cl-anion leads to the initiation and development of the corrosion pits,and Mg-5Y-7Gd-1Nd-0.5Zr alloy exhibits filiform type of attack under significant anodic control of magnesium solution *** corrosion potential becomes noble with increasing immersion time.

The microstructure and tensile properties were investigated in a thick-walled section （approximately 45 mm×43 mm） of a rheocast component produced by the RheoMetalTM process. Due to the long solidification period of such components, it is expected that the A1-Si eutectic formed will be coarse. Therefore, sodium （Na） was used as a modifying agent to reduce the coarseness of the eutectic. Tensile test bars were machined from three different sets of materials： 1） non-modified melt, 2） modified melt cast directly after Na addition, and 3） modified melt cast 30 min after Na addition. The alloy used was a secondary AlSi6Cu2.5 alloy （STENAL Rheol）, specially developed for rheocasting. The material was studied in the as-cast condition as well as after a T6 heat treatment. The results show that the Al-Si eutectic is significantly refined by the Na addition, even after a fading time of 30 min. However, it is observed that the Na modification generally has a detrimental effect on the mechanical properties, despite the structure refinement. This is especially true in the T6 heat treated condition, where the yield strength is reduced by more than 30%. Some possible mechanisms for the degradation of mechanical performance are discussed.

在含有羟基磷灰石的电解液中,通过微弧氧化法在新型近β钛合金Ti-5Zr-6Mo-15Nb(TLE)表面制备一层多孔TiO2/HA(羟基磷灰石)复合涂层,再将试样浸入过硫酸钠和草酸的混合溶液中处理以进行表面活化。借助XRD、SEM和EDS研究了该多孔复合薄膜的组成和表面形貌,并通过动物体内植入实验研究了经上述表面改性处理前后的TLE合金的软组织和硬组织相容性,以及表面改性前后TLE合金的成骨活性。结果表明,经上述处理后的TLE合金表面覆盖一层多孔陶瓷薄膜,该薄膜主要由金红石型TiO2和锐钛矿型TiO2,以及少量HA相组成。改性后的TLE合金具有良好的皮下组织、肌肉组织和骨组织相容性,成骨活性也好于未处理的Ti-5Zr-6Mo-15Nb合金。
