Detection of Perfect Stealthy Attacks on Cyber-Physical Systems Subject to Measurement Quantizations: A Watermark-Based Strategy

In this paper, the attack detection problem is investigated for a class of closed-loop systems subjected to unknownbutbounded noises in the presence of stealthy attacks. The measurement outputs from the sensors are quantized before transmission.A specific type of perfect stealthy attack, which meets certain rather stringent conditions, is taken into account. Such attacks could be injected by adversaries into both the sensor-toestimator and controller-to-actuator channels, with the aim of disrupting the normal data flow. For the purpose of defending against these perfect stealthy attacks, a novel scheme based on watermarks is developed. This scheme includes the injection of watermarks(applied to data prior to quantization) and the recovery of data(implemented before the data reaches the estimator).The watermark-based scheme is designed to be both timevarying and hidden from adversaries through incorporating a time-varying and bounded watermark signal. Subsequently, a watermark-based attack detection strategy is proposed which thoroughly considers the characteristics of perfect stealthy attacks,thereby ensuring that an alarm is activated upon the occurrence of such attacks. An example is provided to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed mechanism for detecting attacks.

Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm for Feature Selection Inspired by Peak Ecosystem Dynamics

In recent years, particle swarm optimization (PSO) has received widespread attention in feature selection due to its simplicity and potential for global search. However, in traditional PSO, particles primarily update based on two extreme values: personal best and global best, which limits the diversity of information. Ideally, particles should learn from multiple advantageous particles to enhance interactivity and optimization efficiency. Accordingly, this paper proposes a PSO that simulates the evolutionary dynamics of species survival in mountain peak ecology (PEPSO) for feature selection. Based on the pyramid topology, the algorithm simulates the features of mountain peak ecology in nature and the competitive-cooperative strategies among species. According to the principles of the algorithm, the population is first adaptively divided into many subgroups based on the fitness level of particles. Then, particles within each subgroup are divided into three different types based on their evolutionary levels, employing different adaptive inertia weight rules and dynamic learning mechanisms to define distinct learning modes. Consequently, all particles play their respective roles in promoting the global optimization performance of the algorithm, similar to different species in the ecological pattern of mountain peaks. Experimental validation of the PEPSO performance was conducted on 18 public datasets. The experimental results demonstrate that the PEPSO outperforms other PSO variant-based feature selection methods and mainstream feature selection methods based on intelligent optimization algorithms in terms of overall performance in global search capability, classification accuracy, and reduction of feature space dimensions. Wilcoxon signed-rank test also confirms the excellent performance of the PEPSO.

Sb2Se3solar cells have achieved a power conversion efficiency（PCE） of over 10%.However,the serious open-circuit voltage deficit(VOC-deificit),induced by the hard-to-control crystal orientation and heterojunction interface reaction,limits the PCE of vapor transport deposition（VTD） processed Sb2Se3solar *** overcome the VOC-deficit problem of VTD processed Sb2Se3solar cells,herein,an in-situ bandgap regulation strategy is innovatively proposed to prepare a wide band gap Sb2（S,Se）3seed layer（WBSL） at CdS/Sb2Se3heterojunction interface to improve the PCE of Sb2Se3solar *** analysis results show that the introduced Sb2（S,Se）3seed layer can enhance the [001] orientation of Sb2Se3thin films,broaden the band gap of heterojunction interface,and realize a "Spike-like" conduction band alignment withΔEc=0.11 *** addition,thanks to the suppressed CdS/Sb2Se3interface reaction after WBSL application,the depletion region width of Sb2Se3solar cells is widened,and the quality of CdS/Sb2Se3interface and the carrier transporting performance of Sb2Se3solar cells are significantly improved as ***,the harmful Se vacancy defects near the front interface of Sb2Se3solar cells can be greatly diminished by ***,the PCE of Sb2Se3solar cells is improved from 7.0% to 7.6%;meanwhile the VOCis increased to 466 mV which is the highest value for the VTD derived Sb2Se3solar *** work will provide a valuable reference for the interface and orientation regulation of antimony-based chalcogenide solar cells.

The Scandinavian(SCA)pattern is an important climate signal in regulating the variability of summer extreme precipitation(SEP)over the eastern slopes of the Tibetan Plateau(ESTP).There is a strong negative correlation between the SCA pattern and SEP over the ESTP,with a correlation coefficient *** budget analysis showed that the dynamic component anomalies of both the zonal and vertical moisture advection induced by the SCA pattern play the dominant roles in extreme precipitation variability over the *** anomalies are solely linked to variations in zonal wind and vertical *** anomalies of the SCA pattern propagate downstream through Rossby waves,leading to the formation of cyclonic circulations over northern East Asia and the Iranian *** westerlies on the southern side of these cyclonic circulations play a crucial role in influencing the development of significant anomalous westerlies over the *** anomalous westerlies bring climatologically moist air from the Tibetan Plateau(TP)to the ESTP,resulting in positive zonal moisture advection anomalies over the ***,these anomalous westerlies transport climatologically warm air from the TP to the ESTP,leading to significant warm advection anomalies and vertical upward motion anomalies over the *** upward motion carries lower-tropospheric moisture upward,resulting in positive vertical moisture advection anomalies over the *** combination of these positive zonal and vertical moisture advection anomalies eventually leads to excessive SEP.

This article explores the leader-following consensus tracking(LFCK) control issues of multi-agent systems(MASs)in the presence of external disturbances and general directed fixed communication topology. Its purpose is to enable all follower agents to achieve consensus tracking for the leader agent. Firstly, this article introduces an extended state observer for estimating each follower agent's unknown state and external disturbance. Subsequently, on the basis of the above-extended state observer and a dynamic event-triggered strategy, a distributed consensus tracking control protocol with disturbances restraint is developed,which can reduce the MAS's update frequency on the premise of ensuring the control protocol's effectiveness. Furthermore,the MAS's stability and the absence of Zeno behavior are analyzed and proved by the established Lyapunov functional and linear matrix inequality theory. Finally, the validity and feasibility of the proposed approach are validated through a group of comparative numerical simulation experiments.

Lithium metal batteries（LMBs） with high energy density are impeded by the instability of solid electrolyte interface（SEI） and the uncontrolled growth of lithium（Li） *** mitigate these challenges,optimizing the SEI structure and Li deposition behavior is the key to stable *** study novelty proposes a facile synthesis of MgF2/carbon（C） nanocomposite through the mechanochemical reaction between metallic Mg and polytetrafluoroethylene（PTFE） powders,and its modified polypropylene（PP）separator enhances LMB *** in-situ formed highly conductive fluorine-doped C species play a crucial role in facilitating ion/electron transport,thereby accelerating electrochemical kinetics and altering Li deposition *** cycling,the in-situ reaction between MgF2and Li leads to the formation of LiMg alloy,along with a LiF-rich SEI layer,which reduces the nucleation overpotential and reinforces the interphase strength,leading to homogeneous Li deposition with dendrite-free *** from these merits,the Li metal is densely and uniformly deposited on the MgF2/C@PP separator side rather than on the current collector ***,the symmetric cell with MgF2/C@PP exhibits superb Li plating/stripping performance over 2800 h at 1 mA cm-2and 2 mA h *** importantly,the assembled Li@MgF2/C@PPILiFePO4full cell with a low negative/positive ratio of 3.6delivers an impressive cyclability with 82.7% capacity retention over 1400 cycles at 1 C.
