The biggest environmental problem caused by the construction of tunnels adjacent to high-rise buildings is the settlement of *** paper analyzes the influence of tunnel excavation on the deformation of the superstructure and the deformation mode of the *** introduces the indicators and standards for the construction control of tunnel adjacent to the building at home and *** with the Yuzhong tunnel project under construction in chongqing,the main monitoring indicators and control standards of the Yuzhong Tunnel passing through the main buildings are given after comprehensive analysis and considerations,which provide a reference for the deformation control indicators of similar urban traffic tunnels adjacent to high-rise buildings.

The organization of territory and cities is a structuring element for the management of epidemic *** existence of basic sanitary structures is,nowadays,an acquired and determined factor for the healthiness of territories,as well as for the structural contribution to the well-being of the *** the 19th century epidemic crises established health parameters for Architecture and Urbanism,which are still a reference *** after one hundred years,where the questions of salubrity were supposed to be consolidated,we find that,suddenly,without advice,new alarm bells ring:we found that the world was not prepared to be closed in its“housing units”.Assuming Portimão as an urban laboratory and as a waterfront city,we will present the studies that were developed by students in workshops context,searching for contemporary solutions,considering nowadays ecological and architectural concerns,having in mind concepts of sustainability,reuse and recycling.

Using an accurate energy model,this paper simulated existing commercial buildings to compare PMV-based comfort control with conventional thermostatic control and conduct a sensitivity analysis using the design of Experiments method with monitored energy consumption *** analysis was applied considering the impact of building envelope characteristics including thermal insulation level of exterior walls and air leakage rate on the ability of both control options to maintain indoor thermal comfort while minimizing cooling energy *** analysis findings indicated that PMV-based comfort control is viable for striking a middle ground between thermal comfort and heating energy consumption with a PPD(predicted percentage of dissatisfied)level at 8%for any combination of walls’R-value and air infiltration rate while temperature-based controls result in an unacceptable indoor thermal comfort performance especially for low R-values regardless of the air infiltration rate with PPD level reaching over 76%.Also,the results show that in a comfort-controlled space,the average radioactive temperature and occupant-related features like metabolic rate and clothing level have a far bigger effect on energy use than other parameters like relative humidity.

A good sound environment is essential in creating a harmonious and peaceful campus,improving students’learning outcomes,promoting physical and mental health,and creating a green and healthy *** study investigated the impact of new buildings on existing ones by optimizing the spacing between new buildings and the sound insulation structure of building *** results indicated that building 4 was affected by the noise from new building 1 and its surroundings,with a maximum outdoor daytime noise level reaching 69 dB,and the indoor background noise level in the least favorable classroom was 43.73 dB,less than 45 dB,which was within the acceptable *** is recommended that the sound insulation design be improved in the planning of new teaching ***,the surrounding traffic conditions should be improved,and the usage time of sports facilities should be scheduled appropriately to prevent the noise from sporting activities from affecting the classroom *** findings of this study provide valuable references for future architectural acoustics design and campus planning,contributing to the creation of peaceful and comfortable campus environments.

Seismic wave reflection method is an advanced geophysical detection method in tunnel geological *** is more sensitive and effective in detecting geological anomalies such as fault fracture zone and *** order to verify the prediction efficacy and accuracy of the seismic wave reflection method with different instruments and equipment(tunnel geological prediction[TGP]/tunnel seismic prediction[TSP])and different vibration modes(hammering,explosives),a comparison test was carried out in Jinping *** test results showed that the time-consumption of the hammering source was short,which can greatly reduce the impact on the construction site;different vibration sources methods of seismic wave reflection can predict the unfavorable geological sections accurately.

The twenty-first century is one of the most complex in the history of humanity,mainly due to the ecological crisis it is going *** construction sector generates about 40%of cO2 emissions into the environment;the foregoing should motivate this sector to seek new alternatives to develop new building *** these current needs into account,this document classifies and presents a multidisciplinary solution that integrates biology,engineering and architecture to develop a new and innovative lightweight timber structure;it divides with a main structure made of timber and an innovative joint system made of bio-polymers connecting all the *** the study of diatoms,it was able to analyze the bio-morphology of the structure,joints and in particular the geometry since they were the inspiration for the design of this structure that presents an innovative and novel design of structural *** parametric design and digital fabrication,it was able to create a complex geometry that obtains excellent structural *** research discusses and explores how materials,geometry led to the optimization of a structure and how new structures can arise,thanks to biology new solutions can be obtained that are completely sustainable,being a clear example of how to combat the effects of the climate change and in a precise way it highlights the advantages of the bio-design in the architectural design.
