Bifurcation analysis of the logistic map via two periodic impulsive forces

The complex dynamics of the logistic map via two periodic impulsive forces is investigated in this paper. The influ- ences of the system parameter and the impulsive forces on the dynamics of the system are studied respectively. With the parameter varying, the system produces the phenomenon such as periodic solutions, chaotic solutions, and chaotic crisis. Furthermore, the system can evolve to chaos by a cascading of period-doubling bifurcations. The Poincar6 map of the logistic map via two periodic impulsive forces is constructed and its bifurcation is analyzed. Finally, the Floquet theory is extended to explore the bifurcation mechanism for the periodic solutions of this non-smooth map.

In this paper,under two different electromagnetic modes,the photonic band gaps（PBGs） in the two-dimensional plasma photonic crystals（PPCs） are theoretically investigated based on the plane wave expansion *** proposed PPCs are arranged in rhombus lattices,in which the homogeneous unmagnetized plasma rods are immersed in the isotropic dielectric *** computed results showed that PBGs can be easily tuned by the angle of rhombus lattices,and a cutoff frequency and a flatbands region can be observed under the TM and TE polarized waves,*** relationships between the relative bandwidths of first PBGs and the parameters of PPCs in two such cases also are *** numerical simulations showed that the PBGs can be manipulated obviously by the parameters as mentioned *** proposed results can be used to design the waveguide and filter based on the PPCs.

BaxCe0.8Pr0.2O3-α (x=0.98-1.03) ceramics were prepared by high temperature solid-state reaction. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns showed that the materials were perovskite-type orthorhombic single phase. By using gas concentration cell and AC impedance spectroscopy methods, the electrical conduction behavior of the materials was investigated in different gases at 500-900 °C. The influence of non-stoichiometry in the materials with x≠1 on conduction properties was studied and compared with that in the material with x=1. The results indicated that Ba1.03Ce0.8Pr0.2O3-α was a pure protonic conductor, and Ba0.98Ce0.8Pr0.2O3-α was a mixed conductor of protons and electrons in wet hydrogen at 500-900 °C. BaCe0.8Pr0.2O3-α was a pure protonic conductor in 500-600 °C, and a mixed conductor of protons and electrons above 600 °C in wet hydrogen. In 500-900 °C, they were all mixed conductors of oxide ions and electronic holes in dry air, and mixed conductors of protons, oxide ions and electronic holes in wet air. Both the protonic and oxide ionic conductivities increased with increasing barium content in the materials in wet hydrogen, dry air and wet air, respectively.

Using the exponential function transformation approach along with an approximation for the centrifugal potential, the radial Schr6dinger equation of D-dimensional Hulthen potential is transformed to a hypergeometric differential equation. The approximate analytical solutions of scattering states are attained. The normalized wave functions expressed in terms of hypergeometrie functions of scattering states on the ＂k/2π scale＂ and the calculation formula of phase shifts are given. The physical meaning of the approximate analytical solutions is discussed.

Ba1.03Ce0.6Zr0.2Yb0.2O3-α ceramic was prepared by solid state reaction. Phase composition, surface and cross-section morphologies of the material were characterized by using X-ray diffractometer （XRD） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, respectively. Its chemical stability against carbon dioxide and water steam at high temperature was tested. Ionic conduction of the material was investigated by ac im-pedance spectroscopy and gas concentration cell methods under different gas atmospheres in the temperature range of 500-900 ℃. Using the ceramic as solid electrolyte and porous platinum as electrodes, the hydrogen-air fuel cell was constructed, and the cell performance at the tem-perature from 500 to 900 oC was examined. The results indicated that Ba1.03Ce0.6Zr0.2Yb0.2O3-α was a single-phase perovskite-type ortho-rhombic system, with high density and good chemical stability under carbon dioxide and water steam atmospheres at high temperature. In wet hydrogen, the material was a pure protonic conductor with the protonic transport number of 1 from 500 to 700 ℃, a mixed conductor of pro-ton and electron with the protonic transport numbers of 0.945-0.916 from 800 to 900 ℃. In wet air, the material was a mixed conductor of proton, oxide ion and electronic hole. The protonic transport numbers were 0.013-0.003, and the oxide ionic transport numbers were 0.346-0.265. Under hydrogen-air fuel cell conditions, the material was a mixed conductor of proton, oxide ion and electron, the ionic trans-port numbers were 0.945-0.848. The fuel cell could work stably, and at 900 ℃, the maximum power output density was 36.5 mW/cm^2.

We propose a versatile electrostatic trap scheme using several charged spherical electrodes and a bias electric *** hrst give the two-ball scheme and derive the analytical solution of the electric *** order to make a comparison,we also give the numerical solution calculated by the hnite element software（Ansoft Maxwell）.Considering the loading of cold polar molecules into the trap,we give the three-ball *** hrst give the analytical and numerical solutions of the distribution of the electric *** we simulate the dynamic process of the loading and trapping cold molecules using the classical Monte Carlo *** analyze the influence of the velocity of the incident molecular beam and the loading time on the loading *** that,we give the temperature of the trapped cold *** study shows that the loading efficiency can reach 82%,and the corresponding temperature of the trapped molecules is about 24.6 *** last,we show that the single well divides into two ones by increasing the bias electric held or decreasing the voltages applied to the spherical electrodes.

The problem of indirect adaptive fuzzy and impulsive control for a class of nonlinear systems is investigated. Based on the approximation capability of fuzzy systems, a novel adaptive fuzzy and impulsive control strategy with supervisory controller is developed. With the help of a supervisory controller, global stability of the resulting closed-loop system is established in the sense that all signals involved are uniformly bounded. Furthermore, the adaptive compensation term of the upper bound function of the sum of residual and approximation error is adopted to reduce the effects of modeling error. By the generalized Barbalat＇s lemma, the tracking error between the output of the system and the reference signal is proved to be convergent to zero Asymptotically. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
