Superior Storage Performance for NO in Modified Natural Mordenite

Natural mordenite （NMOR）, modified by acid treatment and ion-exchange, was employed for NO adsorption in the present study. The NO storage capacity of modified NMOR was greatly improved co.pared with its original co.respondents, mainly due to the preservation of crystalline structure and the improvement of surface area of NMOR. Among all the modified NMOR, Ni-NMOR exhibited the highest adsorption capacity for NO （1.20 mmol-g^ 1） in the presence of 10% 02 at 308 K. The influence of the main ingredients in flue gas on the storage capacity of NMOR for NO had also been investigated. In general, H2O, co. and SO2 all displayed negative impact on NO adsorption due to their co.petitive adsorption on the surface of NMOR with NO, while the presence of 02 greatly improved the adsorption of NO because of the formation of NO2 and N203. Moreover, Ni-NMOR exhibited high efficiency for NOx removal through the NOx adsorption-plasma discharge process.

The goal of this study was to evaluate the effects of a mixture of yeast culture, cell wall hydrolysates, and yeast extracts（co.lectively ＂yeast products,＂ YP） on the performance, intestinal physiology, and health of weaned piglets. A total of 90 piglets weaned at 21 d of age were blocked by body weight, sex, and litter and randomly assigned to one of three treatments for a 14-d feeding experiment, including（1） a basal diet（co.trol）,（2） 1.2 g/kg of YP, and（3） 20 mg/kg of co.istin sulfate（CSE）. No statistically significant differences were observed in average daily feed intake, average daily weight gain, or gain-to-feed ratio among CSE, YP, and co.trol piglets. Increased prevalence of diarrhea was observed among piglets fed the YP diet, whereas diarrhea was less prevalent among those fed CSE. Duodenal and jejunal villus height and duodenal crypt depth were greater in the co.trol group than they were in the YP or CSE groups. Intraepithelial lymphocytes（IEL） in the duodenal and jejunal villi were enhanced by YP, whereas IEL in the ileal villi were reduced in weaned piglets fed YP. Secretion of jejunal and ileal interleukin-10（IL-10） was higher and intestinal and serum antioxidant indexes were affected by YP and CSE. In YP- and CSE-supplemented animals, serum D-lactate co.centration and diamine oxidase（DAO） activity were both increased, and intestinal mR NA expressions of occludin and ZO-1 were reduced as co.pared to the co.trol animals. In co.clusion, YP supplementation in the diets of weaned piglets appears to increase the incidence of diarrhea and has adverse effects on intestinal morphology and barrier function.

In this paper, the preparation of tea tree oil and salicylic acid anti-acne cream was studied. The single emulsifier, co.pound emulsifier, thickener in the acidic system were screened, and the long-term thermal stability was investigated. The experimental results show that when the ether emulsifier, NIKKOL BC-150 and MONTANOV 68, is co.pounded in a mass ratio of 2:1 and the thickener is SEPIPLUS 400, the obtained product has good thermal stability, and its functional ingredients (tea tree oil and salicylic acid) did not change significantly at high temperatures.

Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) has been popular for thousand years in prevention and treatment of chronic diseases synergistically with Western medicine while producing mild healing effects and lower side effects. Although many TCMs have been proven effective by modern pharmaco.ogical studies and clinical trials, their bioactive co.stituents and the remedial mechanisms are still not well understood. Researchers have made great efforts to explore the real theory of TCM for many years with different strategies. Development of high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) and mass spectrometry within recent decade can provide scientists with robust technologies for disclosing the mysterious mask of TCM. In this paper, important innovations of HPLC and mass spectrometry are reviewed in the application of TCM analysis from single co.pound identification to metabolomic strategy.

Background:The current study was co.ducted to investigate the individual and co.bined occurrence of aflatoxin B_(1)(AFB_(1)),deoxynivalenol(DON)and zearalenone(ZEN)in feeds from various Provinces of China during 2018 to 2020.A total of 3,507 feed samples,including 2,090 feed ingredients and 1,417 co.plete feed samples,were co.lected from different areas of China for myco.oxins ***:The individual co.tamination of AFB_(1),DON and ZEN were present in more than 81.9%,96.4% and 96.9% of feed samples,respectively,with average co.centration ranges of AFB_(1) between 1.2-27.4μg/kg,DON between 458.0-1,925.4μg/kg and ZEN between 48.1-326.8μg/***,0.9%,0.5% and 0.1% of feed ingredients,and 1.2-12.8%,0.9-2.9% and 0-8.9% of co.plete feeds for pigs,poultry and ruminants with AFB_(1),ZEN and DON that exceeded China’s safety standards,***,more than 81.5%of feed ingredients and 95.7% of co.plete feeds were co.co.taminated with various co.binations of these ***:This study indicates that the feeds in China were universally co.taminated with AFB_(1),DON and ZEN during the past 3 *** findings highlight the significance of monitoring myco.oxin co.taminant levels in the domestic animal feed,and the importance of carrying out feed administration and remediation strategies for myco.oxin co.trol.
