目的旨在描述制定及评估一项短期留学生研究和教育项目。方法研究分为项目制定与实施及评价2部分。根据1名国际学生的短期访学需求,护理学院的全球护理项目协调员和首席导师共同确定项目基本内容和团队成员。该项目学习活动考虑了该国际学生对老年人和居家临终关怀的兴趣,包括4项内容:.开展研究工作,参与教学活动,参与临床实践活动,以及特殊活动和专业发展培训课程。在为期6个月的访学结束时,对参与此次教学活动的教师、研究生及留学生进行访谈和简短问卷调查。结果通过访谈了解到3个方面的内容:通过参与该项目中获得的经验(增强了教育和研究的多样性,获得了新的全球医疗保健知识,对文化意识的自我反思和促进);项目实施的障碍和挑战(签证申请过程,英语语言障碍,缺乏公共交通设施,时间安排冲突);克服这些障碍和挑战的策略(在课程中增加文化多样性信息;与其他同学一起学习英语;使用不同的沟通技巧;在签证申请过程中与大学全球事务办公室持续合作;提供互动体验)。所有项目参与者都对该项目表示非常满意(4.67±0.50),认为对他们在科研、教学和临床实践方面的护理技能有很大影响(4.67±0.50)。结论此次项目的参与者均获得了相关经验,可用于今后的教学指导活动。国际护理专业学生需要得到帮助才能更好地适应访学环境,教师必须具有文化敏感性,了解学生的学习需求,并倡导营造适合学生学习的环境。

Predictors of health-promoting behaviour among older adults with hypertension in Indonesia

Objectives:This study aimed to determine the predictors of health-promoting behaviour among older adults with hypertension in Bengkulu City,Bengkulu,***:A cross-sectional study was conducted in 333 older adults with hypertension,who were selected using multistage sampling *** were obtained by face-to-face interview with structured *** questionnaires used in this study included the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile II(HPLP II),Hypertension Knowledge-Level Scale(HK-LS),Self-Rated Abilities for Health Practices Scale(SRAHP),Barriers to Health-promoting Behaviour Scales(BAS),Benefits to Health-Promoting Behaviour Scales(BES),Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support(MSPSS)and Situational Influences Questionnaire(SIQ).Data were analysed by using multiple linear ***:The mean and standard deviation(Mean±SD)of each questionnaire were as follows:HPLP II,2.55±0.19;HK-LS,11.83±3.00;SRAHP,2.00±5.87;BAS,27.89±2.70;BES,34.29±2.29;MSPSS,60.35±8.12;and SIQ,47.71±*** to the multiple linear regression model,36.9% of the variation in health-promoting behaviour among older adults with hypertension can be explained by six variables,namely,education,knowledge,self-efficacy,perceived barriers,social support and situational influences(adjusted R^(2)=0.369).Conclusions:High and good-quality education will increase the level of health-promoting behaviour,whereas barriers,such as expense and time requirement,can decrease *** influences and support from family and friends can also influence the older adult's attempts to change their health *** self-efficacy will clearly result in improved health-promoting behaviour of older adults with hypertension.

Effects of mindfulness-based interventions on depressive symptoms in patients with substance use disorders:a systematic review and meta-analysis

Objective:We examined the effects of mindfulness-based interventions(MBIs)on depressive symptoms in patients with substance use disorders(SUDs)and explored the moderating effects of participant,method,and intervention ***:We systematically searched 8 databases from their inception till November *** inclusion criteria were primary studies evaluating MBIs in patients with SUDs with depression measured as an outcome,those including a control group,and those written in *** used a random-effects model to compute effect sizes(ESs)using Hedges’g,a forest plot,and Q and I2 statistics as measures of heterogeneity;we also examined moderator ***:Nineteen studies included 1352 participants(age:38.6±7.0 years).Overall,MBIs showed significantly improved depression(g=0.67,95%conﬁdence interval[CI]:0.29,1.05,I2=89%)compared to *** regard to moderators,providing MBIs as an individual plus group intervention had a greater effect(g=2.13)on reducing depressive symptoms than providing MBIs as a group intervention(g=0.64)or an individual intervention only(g=0.33,P=0.034).Using concealed allocation tended to reduce depressive symptoms(g=1.22)as compared to not using concealed allocation(g=0.48,P=0.086).No other quality indicators were demonstrated to have a moderating influence on the value of the ***:MBIs improved depressive symptoms in patients with *** might be used as an adjunctive or alternative to conventional treatment for depressed patients with SUDs.

Use of complementary and alternative medicine among Thai patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

OBJECTIVE： Patients with diabetes commonly use complementary and alternative medicine （CAM）. Little is known about types and factors related to CAM use in patients with diabetes in Thailand. This study aimed to examine types and factors that were associated with CAM use in Thai diabetic patients.METHODS： A cross-sectional study of diabetic patients being treated in four primary healthcare units and two secondary hospitals in the north of Thailand was conducted. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Frequency, percentage, and Chi-square test were used to describe or analyze data.RESULTS： The three most common types of CAM used by samples were Daode Xinxi （a modified version of Taichi）, prayer and meditation. Women were more likely to use CAM than men （χ^2=5.038, P=0.018）. Patients aged between 40 and 69 years were more likely to use CAM than those aged younger than 40 or older than 69 years （χ^2=11.041, P=0.026）. Farmers were more likely to use CAM than those with other careers （χ^2=19.248, P=0.007）. Diabetes patients whose time since diagnosis was between 1 and 10 years were more likely to use CAM than those with a longer elapsed time since diagnosis （χ^2= 8.407, P = 0.038）. Marital status, religion, education, health insurance type and conventional treatment approaches were not associated with CAM use in diabetic patients.CONCLUSION： The most common type of CAM used by Thai patients with diabetes was mind and body practice. CAM use was significantly associated with gender, age, career and duration of diabetes However, marital status, religion, education, health insurance types and conventional regimen for diabetics were not associated with CAM use.

Factors Influencing Preventive Behaviors of Mothers for Diarrhea in Children Aged 1-5 Years in Buol District, Indonesia

This study aims to determine the factors related with mothers＇ behaviors in preventing diarrhea in children aged 1-5 years inBuol District. This was a cross-sectional survey design with health belief model as the conceptual framework. A total of 300mothers were selected by using purposive sampling method based on criteria. Mothers were interviewed by using astructured questionnaire during October to November 2015. A chi-square （X^2） test was used to determine a significantassociation between independent variables and dependent variable. The finding showed that 68.3% of mothers hadgood behaviors in preventing diarrhea. The factors significantly related to mothers＇ behaviors included perceivedsusceptibility to diarrhea, perceived severity of diarrhea, perceived benefits of diarrhea prevention behaviors, and perceivedbarriers of diarrhea prevention behaviors CP 〈 .01, p 〈 .01, p 〈 .01, and p 〈 .01 respectively）. Further, mothers had highperception to comply with diarrhea prevention behaviors. Those who perceived that diarrhea prevention behaviors werehighly beneficial to their children had good behaviors in preventing diarrhea. However, taking certain actions must considernegative aspects.

Objective:Family plays an important role in taking care of children with intellectual disabilities(IDs).Resilience supports coping strategies for caregivers with their children ***,factors influencing the resilience of caregivers with ID in Thailand are yet to be ***,the aim of this study was to identify the predictors of resilience in caregivers of children with moderate to severe ***:A cross-sectional study was implemented in caregivers of children with ID aged 18 years and older who had children diagnosed with ID aged 6–18 years and classified as moderate to severe *** statistic and multiple linear regression were used for data ***:The study sample consisted of 85 caregivers who took care of their children older than 5 years(95.30%).Depression,social support,cognitive function,and stigma could predict the resilience(F[4,80]=26.79,P<0.001)and explain the variability of resilience by 57.3%.Conclusions:Caregivers have to take care of their children for a long period,which could develop a burden to the *** resilience and influencing factors should be monitored and managed by developing a campaign to promote caregivers’health and well-being.

Association between social media addiction and sleep quality among undergraduate nursing students:a cross-sectional study

Objectives:To examine the association between social media addiction and sleep quality among undergraduate nursing ***:This research is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional *** sampling technique was purposive sampling of 150 nursing students at a private university in Malang,*** filled out a questionnaire about self-identity,a sleep quality questionnaire from the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and social media addiction from Social Media Addiction Scale(SMAS).This was a bivariate analysis which was conducted using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation ***:The results of this study reported that most nursing students were addicted to social media(76%).As for the parameter of the quality variable,most respondents had poor sleep quality,which were about 106 people(70.3%).The result of the Pearson Product Moment Correlation test obtained a P value of *** Pearson correlation coefficient was *** media addiction(adjusted odds ratio[OR]4.80,95%confidence interval[CI]=2.08-11.02),gender(adjusted OR 3.79,95%CI=1.58-9.12),and using social media for a long time(adjusted OR 4.21,95%CI=1.97-10.48)were associated with sleep ***:We found that there is an association between social media addiction and sleep quality among nursing ***,we might be educating nursing students to manage their time to improve their quality of sleep to avoid any health problems.

目的本研究旨在翻译和验证泰语版慢性病自我护理量表4.c版(Self-Care of Chronic Ilness Inven-tory version 4.c,SC-CII v4.c)在慢性病患者中应用的信效度。方法对SC-CI v4.c量表进行翻译,并通过横断面研究验证其信效度。采用准备、正向翻译、对比、反向翻译、反向翻译审查、调适、认知报告、认知报告审查、定稿、校对9个步骤将英语版本问卷翻译为泰语,并对翻译的有效性进行了评估。于2022年7一11月在泰国南部的16所初级保健中心选取410名至少有1种慢性疾病患者为研究对象。采用结构效度、聚合效度和区分效度评估量表的效度;应用自我护理自我效能量表(the Self-Care Self-Eficacy Scale,SCSES)和自我感知健康量表来评估量表的同时效度;采用Cronbach'sα系数、项目总相关系数和组合信度(composite relia-bility,CR)指数来评估量表的信度。结果泰语版SC-CI v4.c具有很好的翻译效度(卡帕系数为0.99)。泰语版自我护理维持分量表与原始模型拟合度很好,其中健康促进行为和疾病相关行为维度中的条目有较小差异;自我护理监测和自我护理管理分量表与原始模型存在很好的拟合度。验证性因子分析显示,泰语版SC-CII v4.c具有良好的拟合度。量表的平均方差提取值(average variance extracted,AVE)范围为0.23~0.51,异质-单质比率(heterotrait-monotrait ratios,HTMT)范围为0.37~0.88。泰语版SC-CI v4.c及3个分量表得分与SCSES(r=0.25~0.65)和自我感知健康量表(r=0.09~0.35)均呈正相关。除自我护理维持分量表(Cronbach’sα=0.68)外,所有量表Cronbach'sα系数都较高,CR指数显示3个分量表均具有可靠性(范围为0.80~0.82)。除与睡眠有关的条目外,其他条目与总分的相关系数均较好,范围为0.34~0.71。结论泰语版SC-CI v4.c对于评估非特异性慢性病患者的自我护理是有效和可靠的。建议对特定疾病患者进行进一步测试。

Older People’s Lived Experiences with Participation in Shareholding Networks for the Care of Older People in Rural Areas of Thailand: A Phenomenological Hermeneutic Study

Background: Older people participating in shareholding networks are exposed to diverse situations, which may be associated with dignity. Aims: This study aimed to illuminate the meaning of lived experiences when participating in shareholding networks for the care of older people in rural areas. Methods: This qualitative study is based on individual interviews. Ten older Thai persons with at least 12 months of lived experiences participating in shareholding networks for older people in rural areas were interviewed. A phenomenological-hermeneutic approach, inspired by Ricoeur, was used to understand the meaning of the narrated text. Findings: The structural analysis resulted in four themes: 1) being satisfied with activities, 2) being valued as important, 3) being frustrated and feeling sad, and 4) being bored and feeling disinterest. The meaning of participation in a shareholding network for the elderly can be understood as a pathway to feelings of confidence and presence of others. Confidence and allowing the presence of others mean facing humanity and sensing vulnerability, because in a trusting relationship the person who gives confidence is susceptible to the other’s betrayal. Conclusion: An individual’s dignity should be a high priority in health and social care strategies. Therefore, it is important for healthcare professionals to initiate a dialogue with the shareholding participants for support and information. The narrations in this study can be used as a basis for developing cooperating care with older people in shareholding network focusing on their needs and dignity.
