In this study,heat and mass transfer in a viscous fluid which is squeezed between parallel plates Is investigated numerically using the fouith-order Runge-Kutta *** numerical investigation is carried out for different governing parameters namely;the squeeze number,Prandtl number,Eckert number,Schmidt number and the chemical reaction *** show that Nusselt number has direct relationship with Prandtl number and Eckert number but it has reverse relationship with the squeeze *** it can be found that Sherwood number increases as Schmidt number and chemical reaction parameter increases but it decreases with increases of the squeeze number.

The Rajah Sikatuna Protected Landscape(RSPL)was declared a protected area by the Philippine government in 1987 covering seven municipalities in the province of *** and Water conservation Foundation,Inc.,a non-governmental organization based in Cebu City worked in the RSPL for five years to develop a model for operationalisation of a Protected Area Management Board(PAMB). A research was conducted to determine the extent of engendering biodiversity conservation at the village level in the *** covered eight major variables,namely,local government participation, environmental awareness,sectoral involvement,local stakeholdership, law administration and enforcement,biodiversity health,behavioral change and *** arrive at generalizations,a triangulation of methods was used-a combination of focus group discussions/key informant interviewing,opinion survey,and review of secondary documents relative to the *** processing was done using ***,the Sustainable Livelihoods Framework was used in the analysis of the data *** results of the study revealed that project success is more impressive in the villages where economic projects were also *** was because,the interventions in these villages cut across three societal analysis variables-political (through people empowerment via the people's organization and linkages with the village council),economic(through providing financial and technical support that consequently reduced livelihood activities in the forests)and cultural(through various learning modules on environment,sustainable farming and organizational management).
